I can't rave enough about this Mexican street food place. The food is so authentic and good that I felt like I was in Mexico. I had recently gone to Texas and had Mexican food there and I have to say this place is definitely on par with that. Tucked away off of Page boulevard, in a neighborhood, this place can be considered a hidden gem. When I get there, the customers were mostly Hispanic. That's how you know the food is authentic. The workers don't speak too much English but I was able order with just some basic Spanish. We ordered a mangonada which is a mango slushie/ice cream with chamoy drizzle. One of the best desserts in my opinion. We also ordered some tacos and elote. The tacos were actually very filling. My favorite was the Al pastor taco (marinated pork) though it was slightly salty. Another thing that I absolutely love was the horchata. For $5, they gave us a large cup (32 oz maybe) and it was so delicious. I would come back any day just for the horchata alone. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. I think it's one of the best Mexican places that St. Louis has to offer.

Wow I did not know this Mexican place exist. This was our first time here. This place has decent selection of Mexican ice cream and food choices. We went here for snack after eating at a Mediterranean restaurant. The ice cream taste great. The taco is filling and has decent amount of meat. The staff are quick at taking order and they will call your name for you to pick up your food. Plenty of parking in parking lot.will definitely recommend this place for dessert.

Burrito (after picking out the large amount of onion)

I am upset at the overall experience with this restaurant. Spent $50 on food that did not meet expectations. The ambiance was nice with Latino music playing and very vibrant. However the service was not good. I would like to preface that I am a native Spanish speaker and that a language barrier was not an issue in this instance. The lady who helped me was not knowledgeable about what went into a burrito and neither was the lady who she asked. I was told a burrito included meat of choice, rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, and avocado. I did not receive avocado and received onions and cilantro (two things I dislike and explicitly clarified if they came included... I was told they did not). With this, the food is very expensive for what it is almost $14 for a burrito and thin stale French fries. The tacos I ordered were okay, unfortunately received onion and cilantro when I asked them to not include it. My boyfriend and I tried an elote and it had a ridiculous amount of tajin (on the other side of the pictured elote). The elote taste like it was frozen, not sure if it was. Last, the Jamaica tasted like it was made with powder rather than the actual hibiscus flower. As someone from Los Angeles, I really thought this place was going to be an experience that felt like home but it was not. I don't know if I'm going to give it a try again, but hopefully this reviews provides some guidance.

I used to go here for mangonada, but haven't been back in forever. I was surprised when I came back here couple weeks ago. The store was expanded with more tables, very spacious and much cleaner than before. The line was quite long and it moved slow, but the lady took my order was very nice and patient with me since I didn't remember the name of the item I wanted. I ended up getting lengua, chorizo tacos and the chicharon con cueritos. The lengua was very good, I liked it more than the chorizo. I loved the chicharon here more than other places. Mangonada was as good as I remembered.Hibiscus Agua Fresca was refreshing. Overall, this is a great spot for Mexican street foods and ice cream. Highly recommend.

So good! Every flavor tastes exactly what you expect. There's milk based options, water based, fruit flavors, kids flavors ( like bubblegum - tastes exactly like bubblegum so much so that started chewing the popsicle automatically lol). Any questions, just ask for a rundown of the flavors. Also check out their elote in a cup.

I was in Saint Louis for work, and found this place by accident. I've been back four times in the last three weeks. Everything I've had has been delicious. The lengua tacos are the best I've ever had. The barbacoa, Al-pastor and asada are just as good. They have unbelievable ice cream too. It's a really packed menu. I'm sure everything else is delicious as well. If you're in the area, do pass this little place by. It's amazing!

Street tacos are to kill for. Chorizo quesadilla was on point as well! So good! Highly recommend.

I got the enchiladas de mole and the shrimp a la diabla, which had some pretty unique flavors and complexity. Fair warning the shrimp a la diabla was the spiciest thing I have ever had. It was really good but definitely not the faint of heart. It was sooooo spicy that I was sweating. The enchiladas was very good as well. The mole sauce had an interesting bitterness to it. I liked it very much. I highly recommend you ordering that one. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here and I would come back to try more of their food.

On this 85° day , the A/C wasn't working. They put a small bowl of chips on our table. (Supposedly homemade) They were greasy with very little flavor. My husband got a bottled beer. I asked for iced water. It came in a styrofoam cup, no lid, no straw, no ice. I asked for ice. They brought some in a small plastic bowl. I had no silverware to help the ice into the glass. Our food came separately. My husband's steak fajita was extremely tough with few veggies. Five minutes later, my cheese quesadilla arrived. It was small and on the plate was one plastic fork. A roll of paper towels was on the table. We wanted to love this place, but sadly we won't be back.

Inside, it's simple, comfortable, and exactly what you hope for when you're searching for an authentic hidden gem. No gimmicks. No over-designed decor. Just the hum of conversation, plates coming out of the kitchen, and a dining room filled with people who clearly know they've found a place to break bread. Er-- tortillas. I ordered the Pollo a la Plancha, and it was outstanding. Grilled chicken served with perfectly seasoned vegetables, fluffy and flavorful Mexican rice, and warm corn tortillas. I asked them to hold the melted cheese (because dairy and I are currently in a complicated relationship), and it was still one of the best gluten-free meals I've had in a long time. Fresh, satisfying, and packed with flavor. My husband ordered the Norteño tacos, which arrived piled high with toppings and absolutely loaded with flavor. And yes, they come with fries. I had never seen this combination before, but I can confirm it is life-changing. He enjoyed every bite. Before the main meal even arrived, we were hooked by the complimentary chips, salsa, and a bright green crema that came with a serious kick. Spicy enough to get your attention, but so good you keep going back for more. This is the kind of restaurant you almost don't want to tell people about because it feels like a secret. But places this good deserve to be celebrated. Authentic food, generous portions, warm service, and the unmistakable feeling that you've stumbled onto something special. Five stars without hesitation.
