When I contacted the store to have the mistake corrected, they refused to fix the order. If you're looking for balloon inflation, helium balloons, birthday balloons, party balloons, balloon pickup, balloon delivery, or balloons for a birthday party or event, I would recommend going elsewhere. Party City's pop-up inside Staples offers balloon services and would be a much better option based on my experience. The biggest issue wasn't simply that a mistake happened--it was the refusal to correct an incorrectly fulfilled balloon order. I would not rely on this location for balloons or time-sensitive party supplies.

She did this all for the price of the frame and was very kind and pleasant. This saved me so much trouble and I really appreciate it. In the past, this Michaels seemed to have a staff shortage, and the checkout was a drag. I know the self-checkout isn't new here, but it has changed everything; it's fast and efficient, leaving the staff able to focus on helping the customers. I explained that I was unhappy with the quality and asked for my money back because I could not use this canvas for my client. Instead of trying to fix the problem, they refused and kept saying, "This is how we do it," and that they already spent time, labor, and materials on it. They acted like there was nothing wrong with the work at all. What made the experience even worse was the attitude and disrespect. Instead of helping or apologizing, I was told to leave the store. Vanessa was kind enough to help me pick out a hat pattern online and she suggested yarns in the store that would be easier for my first hat. After purchasing my materials, she suggested that i sit down and start my project. One of the kind ladies working on their projects not only helped me start my project, but she put in a lifeline (learned something new). I sat and chatted with the group as I worked on my project. I choose this store even though it is further away from my home because it is open W-F until 7 pm so I can go over after work for help. They are open on the weekend. And lastly, as I expected there is a community of knitters willing to help. I'm overjoyed to have found a place to learn and challenge myself after working solo for so long. Lastly, the yarns in the shop are beautiful and I found the prices in line for the quality. I'm willing to pay a bit more for quality and for support. He finally decided to glance my way asking if I needed help (obviously) & called over a girl to assist. When I let her know I'm looking to drop in & I have prior experience she tells me "oh we're more of a beginners class or membership kind of studio so we don't really have anything for you..." Another women mentions they have a class offering but realizes it was the wrong date. I glance around at the completely empty studio & then she says "The only other thing is I have a class I'm teaching in...7 minutes & it's completely empty so you could attend that & just do what you want..." Why would you not lead with that? She tells me it'll be $110. I pass because I'm not paying an exorbitant price if this is the service I can expect from them.
