This place is my secret spot to get all the best gifts. I mostly come here for their abundant collection of adorable plushies. I come here for them because they are extremely very affordable for the cutest plushie selection that they have. They never fail to provide the best gifts for all occasions for friends, family, colleagues, and more. The best part about this place is that everything in this store has an item that is functional to be used in use and for me it is the adorable plushies but for others it may be plates, bowls, utensils, organizational items, decoratives, or festive items. The continuous best place for secretly cute things that are way so affordable.

This place is so fun. It's like Hello Kitty and the 99 Cents store had a baby. The inventory is very eclectic just like the 99 cents stores but they do not have any grocery items except for some snack foods from Japan. Most of the inventory is household oriented. But they do have seasonal merchandise. The prices are in Yen so you have to covert them which is easy. They give you a chart. 300 equals 6 dollars. They staff is friendly and very young. So they vibe with the atmosphere. They also have self check out. It's hard to describe. Just go and have fun!

Went here because I saw that there was a new daiso in the area! Closer than the other one which I think is a little bit more west in northridge I think. Got here and it was brand spanking new! The workers were kind and helpful. Made conversation with the cashier she was cool and they had what I wanted too well one of the sizes which is fine also they had the ramen I wanted which was the fukuyama brand! Mmmm can't way to try it! I'll always like daiso! Organized, Friendly staff, affordable prices and best part it's closer! For me 5 stars!

Walked in today around 10:30AM and got a very nice welcome from both their employees Kay and Mary. Right away Kay wanted to know if she could help me find something. I wasn't sure what I really needed, but a few things caught my eye and I grabbed them. Got 2 scented candles in a glass. Both together was $53.98. I also saw couple of heart shaped candies that were so cute, but very expensive. I put them back. They had a lovely, pretty section for Easter. Grabbed a pack of light blue medium size paper plates count of 10. $10.50 and that's all I got on this visit. Paper Source is a good place to get all your arts and crafts fixes. From Stationary, to Wedding Invitations, Cards for any occasions, stuffed animals, stickers, artificial flowers, vases, wrapping papers, scrap books, Gifts/Gift Cards, Office Supplies, Custom Design, knick Knacks and a whole lot more. A very BIG store & a very EXPENSIVE store! Can get a bit dangerous. So watch your wallet. Store was fully stocked, organized, clean and only street parking. No restrooms for their customers. When we met with Jennifer, we appreciated how she took time to understand our vision, and even had some cardstock nearby to show us some options on Zoom. We ultimately hired her to create our Save the Dates and wedding invitations as she seemed personal and friendly. When I sent Jennifer inspiration for what we wanted our paper products to look like, she created an almost identical version of what we sent her. This could be perceived as a good thing as she created our vision, but at the same time I hired her so she could put her creative spin on it. Anyone can order invitations off of various websites, so I was surprised when she pretty much copied the inspiration almost exactly instead of making it her own while sticking to a theme. There were also a few times where it took several days for her to respond to emails. It would have been nice to receive an away message from her so I knew she would get back to us. Without an away message, working with her was stressful at times, especially with deadlines. One incident that rubbed me the wrong way was when I emailed Jennifer addresses for our Save the Dates, spoke with her on the phone about how to improve the etiquette (mainly the order of the names), and submitted the new list to print. Even after I spoke with her, the original list (before the edits) was printed. Luckily the addresses were correct, but I felt frustrated that the new list was not printed. I then realized that in the fine print the first list emailed is printed, so I take responsibility for not reading that closer. Regardless, it seemed strange to speak to me on the phone in the first place if the intention was never to print the updated list. Overall, I didn't completely trust that Jennifer would respond to my emails efficiently, and I therefore felt a bit on edge working with her, especially when it came to other paper products that had shorter and tighter deadlines. I think she means well, but I prefer to work with vendors that answer emails within 24 hours (excluding weekends/holidays) and put their creative spin on projects, especially since it costs more money to hire someone than do it yourself online. With all that said, I am grateful that Jennifer helped us stay within budget, and the paper products we received from her were of high quality. It's just too bad there was a rough journey to the destination.

LOVE TJL stores!…read more Always fun to pop in and see what's rotated about and the occasional sales they have, like the BOGO for many of the Bandai toys and collectibles in front. I wanted to get a few things for various toy drives I've been donating to around LA this month and made out with a great haul. The girls in the store were both super helpful and kind... Greeted me and offered to assist on the floor. I did a few laps throughout as they had so much! Including items displayed on top of other items... Almost like walking into some super collectors living room and seeing their ultimate store of accessories, charms, collectibles, cutlery, drinkware, plushies, toys, and more. I feel like the store itself used to be closer to the main mall side near Claire's and the entrance closest to Tampa Avenue / Nordoff Street a few years ago, but has shifted toward the back (might be mixing it up with another Westfield or maybe it's just been a while since I was here). Being such a popular chain store, they'd do well anywhere in the mall. However, it felt like a mission to locate it. And there wasn't much around it with a vacant former department store being next to it on the 1st level. If not for the sale, I'd have spent way more. Definitely on the pricer side compared to other places, but I appreciate the physical experience here as you can't come across everything they carry online or their own website. Feels a little more neighborhood-esque with the printed and handwritten signs. Definitely welcome and an easy shopping experience overall.

I took the 'Intro to Wheel' class with seven other people. The instructor was kind and hands‑on, demonstrating each step and then helping us individually. There are a lot of techniques to pick up, and as a total beginner I found some of them tricky. Also, it's messy. I made the mistake of showering and putting on clean clothes beforehand--don't do that, it splatters everywhere and you'll want a full outfit change afterward. The class ran a little over two hours, including cleanup and storing our pieces. I managed to make two bowls that I'll continue next week. I paid $225 for four classes including materials, which felt fair. They also mentioned I can come back anytime to practice, but I'm way too beginner for that right now. You also get studio access outside of class time when no class is in session, which was a huge plus. The space is peaceful but does get warm, so dress comfortably. I took this class with my husband and mom, and it was a great family bonding experience. They also offer wheel throwing, which I'm excited to try next!
