[Products]: Most of the stickers are original artwork with only a few anime IPs (less than 1/8 of all stickers). I thought their LA County stickers (including some cities from San Bernardino County) for each city were pretty neat. The shop also has some decent Japanese-brand notebooks, toolboxes, pens, etc. Customers can also make their own through the website by uploading their own images (minimum order of 50 stickers). [Conclusion]: The store is not everyone's cup of tea, but for the right target customers this is an amazing store.

It would be cool if membership allowed for price matching. Overall, this is probably the best Japanese book/manga shop you can find aside from the Book Off in Gardena.

Besides books, they also have toys, stationary, cards, etc. The store can be very crowded, but still able to navigate around. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I believe the prices are fair considering their products are mainly from Japan. Love this store. Brings back memories when I was younger. Check them out if you are coming to the Santa Anita Mall.

This gem is still located in the heart of the SGV. Thanks to the kind owners it remains an outlet for a different form of entertainment. Both English and Chinese manga are available, and custom orders can be made. There are quite a few series that are hidden gems, and the owners are very helpful with any questions. It's clean, organized, reasonably priced and even has a large meeting room for events for manga loving fans.

There is a sitting area with comfy chairs where you can read their manga like a library. The owner was very nice and welcoming. We chatted about things and the store has been in his ownership for about 6 months. I look forward to not having to drive all the way to LA just to buy manga.

As one of the oldest independent bookstores in California, it has a really special charm. Inside, there's a wine bar, a coffee shop, and even a cute gift shop upstairs, which makes it easy to spend a lot of time browsing and relaxing. While I was there, I got to listen to an author present her book and answer questions, which added such a unique and memorable touch to the visit. The store was busy, and you could really feel how much people enjoyed being there. The layout is well organized, making it easy to find books by genre. Upstairs, there's a spacious children's section, which is great for families. I also loved the section featuring Orson Welles books and posters. It was a really cool and unexpected addition. Overall, Vroman's is more than just a bookstore as it's an experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

The people in front of me entered and went through with their purchase without problem, but when I did, the woman working there asked me to show her my ID. I was confused, because they don't sell alcohol or tobacco, and I wasn't buying anything of that sort. I'm also an adult, and I don't think I would've given them the idea I was stealing (obviously I wasn't). I asked her why she needed my ID, and she responded with "oh, it's because we've been getting a lot of fraud lately." ...... I was purchasing pens.

Small, but cute store…read more It mostly has Sanrio character items, with a few TokiDoki collabs. I thought it was neat that I saw some rare characters like Kirimi-chan, the salmon filet. I also noticed that they had a tiny bit more merchandise for Pochaco, Hangyodon, Keroppi, & Badtz Maru in comparison to what I've seen at the Westfield Santa Anita. There are a bunch of items not for sale which I assume are rare display statues and plushies. Good amount of stationery, plushies, home goods, accessories etc.
