CONS: the website doesn't show enough choices and when I ordered samples on it I never got the. Hence, I went to the location.

My distributor wanted to charge me $75 per yard for the exact vinyl, these guys had a similar vinyl in stock for $15 a yard. These guys also do a lot of custom work. When I went in there was a lot of patio furniture that needed repairs. They make custom cushions and replace the material on outdoor patio furniture. Definitely recommended and if you can shop local. They have a ton of material in stock and they sell direct to the public.

Today I finished Needles and Knots' introductory sewing course and must say I really enjoyed it and…read morelearned a lot! I came into this class pretty much knowing nothing (I had gotten my sewing machine a few months prior and took weeks to get it threaded. When I went to sew the thread bunched up and I gave up!). Shauna was patient with all of our questions and answered thoroughly. I loved the casual feel of the class, I didn't feel pressured to do things perfectly and overall the mood was relaxed. There were four other students in the class and we all laughed together and learned from one another. The classes were once a week for three weeks. We were provided with tools like scissors, pins, bobbins, etc (you can even borrow a sewing machine though it's best to bring your own so you can familiarize yourself with the machine you'll be using outside of class; fabric was not provided). Mondays are "drop in" days where anyone can come in and see - I'm looking forward to checking that out one day! Finished today's class with a beautiful apron that I am SO excited to use. Thanks again for the class, Shauna! Highly recommend this place to anyone learning how to sew or looking to improve their skills.

Store is staffed by sexist women who assume that only women sew. I went into this overpriced store on my birthday with my wife to take advantage of the birthday discount, I was denied the discount because the woman working there stated that the discount was only for the women that sew. My wife was just as offended as I was. Won't go back, to many other options. read more

I found the cactus ring holder and explained I was mailing it and asked for recommendations so it remained intact. I was so taken care of with suggestions and extra bubble wrap for safe keeping. If I wasn't on a time crunch, I could have spent hours in this darling shop. It is full of lovely items and a perfect place to find a unique gift.
