I went to Quinn for over a year for threads about two years ago . My jawline was built up with collagen ( 2x on each jaw side) and after 3-4 months of that, the threads were done. A positive I also had the Diasport done over my face a few times. In addition I had spots, by laser, removed, which reduced my face age quite a bit. A positive! The threads should have lasted a minimum of 12-15 months, according to most places I spoke to before contacting Quinn. However, about 7-8 months out, most of the people who knew me, told me that my jawline, that threads give me, had disappeared. A negative. That was the main reason I went to Quinn in the first place. That has been a huge negative in my mind. The laser treatment has done really well, and the facial spots remain gone. A positive. I'd like to get another round of Diasport but closer to my home. I had a wonderful facial done. As a man, I've never had that done. She was great!! However, I've heard that she is no longer is employed there. A positive for the facial. I've not had any follow up since I had the facial. No one has called or sent me a text in over a year. I can make my own assumptions about that. I can only assume that they have more customers than they need. A huge negative. This is a mixed review, some very good, and positive, and some medium, and some negative. I went in for dysport after a while of taking a break (pregnancies). Andrea was very personable, professional and most importantly made me feel at ease. I appreciate that she focused on my concern and didn't try to recommend other procedures to me. She explained the process and what to expect post injection. I first went to see Melony a year ago for a consult and to discuss some treatment options. When I reached out to Melony at Quinn Aesthetics I was 49 and apart from getting botox to help with migraines a few years ago I had never really thought about doing other procedures. I am now 50, and I am thankful to be alive. I look forward to each year, I found myself not loving some of the side effects of getting older and the bad choices of my youth. One area I talked with Melony about were the lines above my top lip. Many moons ago I was a smoker and although I have not smoked in over 25 years the lines seemed to get worse over time. Melony shared that she thought I would benefit from PTO Threads and a small amount of filler in my lip. One of the things she and I discussed was me not wanting to have the appearance of being overdone with regards to filler. I was scared and Melony was so gracious and reassuring. Melony walked me through how the PDO threads were inserted into the skin and dissolve. What they essentially do is send a signal to the body to create more collagen in the area where they are inserted and the lip filler would give back some of the fullness that time has taken from them. I've been to other "medi-spas", and nothing compares to my experience at Quinn Aesthetic. Let's start with the staff. This group of women is amazing. They are all knowledgeable and you can tell that they all love what they do and really listen to all of your concerns. I went in to see Andria for some sun spots on my face and vessels on the side of my nostril which both had me very self-conscious. She suggested I do XEO laser and explained that the sun spots would get dark after a few days and eventually flake off. She focused on the sun spots first and the pain from the laser was not as bad as I was expecting. Then she moved onto the vessels on my nose and mentioned it would feel cool then warm after and when I least expected we were done. I couldn't believe that those vessels were gone, there was no sign that they had even been their. I wasn't prepared or adequately explained the procedure or the pre and post results. I drove from San Diego to here on a referral and wish to god I never left sd. I'm posting my pre and post. I could go on and on about the negative experience or ptsd I have as a result of my naïveté. I was given a very small portion of anesthesia lotion to apply to my face then told to wait an hr. It ended up taking 1hr30mins to been seen then despite my inability to sit still after the local anesthetic wore off the terrifying experience continued. When I sent them pic of my burnt face they said it was normal and sent me pics of people that never looked like me, making the healing much worse. I wouldn't go there again if I was paid.
