Great service, conveniently located near main road. Super clean and spacious, good for a big family event or just for a couple of nights at Valle de Guadalupe.

    Beautiful grounds

This is such a beautiful place to stay while in the valley with modern rooms. The owners are really nice and super helpful. There is also an on-site kitchen with really great options. Definitely have breakfast here. Secure parking lot and grounds. Overall, really amazing experience.

Quinta Arratz was more than expected and then some!! Totally a hidden gem! Victor was extremely helpful and friendly. Will undoubtedly be staying here again, a great place to stay when investigating Baja's wine country. The breakfast at the restaurant was delicious! Great way to leave this beautiful little hacienda. We can't wait to go back!

    Breakfast was amazing!

The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was traditional comfort Mexican food (except for the toast). There were small details that unfortunately we experienced, the roof in the bathroom was leaking and we weren't able to move to another room (There are only four rooms). We came in November and it was extremely cold and we had to go into town and buy a small heater for our room. Overall our stay here was pleasant and by addressing the small details this property could easily be a 5 star rating.

I was lucky to be referred to this vineyard by a relative who lives half a mile from this location. Not only was the place amazing in scenery and location but the owners and staff were beyond awesome! My wife and I were looking for a location to have our wedding and reception at and Rancho El Parral was hands down the best places to host our amazing event! They included a full breakfast with renting the rooms and even allowed external guests to join us. They also allowed us to have a post wedding small party with no added costs. The owners Albert and Olivia were so great to work with regarding our special day, that they made it a point to make sure we were all well taken care of throughout the whole weekend and even after we left. Their main focus was to make sure that everything was taken care of. They went above and beyond for us given that they had just finished harvesting their grapes and were working on making their line of amazing wine. Working with Olivia was such an easy process and her contract options were so easy to work with and competitive. She was also so helpful in making adjustments to our guest list 4 days before the actual event and discounted the total owed!! As my wife and I were on our honeymoon, we talked about having our birthday party there again because of our experience with the owners, staff and location. We were also approached by quite a bit of our guests to get the contact information of the place so that they can have events there too. There is so much to offer from visiting this location, so much to offer like a lavender field that is the only one in the region and the products of that lavender field. I recommend this location to anyone curious to get an awesome scenery of the valley, for such a comfortable stay in their rooms, and for a great tasting wine that is sure to win awards in the coming years. Their wine, artisan products and amazing scenery are just small details that made our most memorable days even more amazing. We will definitely be returning, often. They also have a restaurant that is in the works and we look forward to seeing it grow. All the guests that were witness to the event said it was by far an amazing place to have any event. Albert and Olivia (the owners) really made us feel like we were their family and although they weren't able to celebrate our reception because they were more concerned about making the event run smooth and were more help for our coordinator but we would have loved for them to be a part of it and I will be sure to have more events with them. They even gave us an amazing coordinator that worked with us and Olivia to make the dream a reality. Thank you so much Albert and Olivia! We will always hold you dear to our marriage!

I'll definitely be recommending Almatierra to my family and friends. If you're in Ensenada and love flavorful, upscale dining, this place is worth checking out!

It definitely feels like a special place that's more about relaxing and enjoying the wine country vibes than doing anything busy or fast-paced. The rooms are separate from each other, so it feels very private and quiet.. Perfect if you're looking to disconnect and have a calm weekend away... Our room was clean and had plenty of space... The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was roomy... They also have a refrigerator stocked with Their in house wine bottles you can choose from, which adds a fun touch... The property has a pool and spa area, but just keep in mind it's communal, there aren't private hot tubs or private spa setups in the rooms... Still, everything was well-maintained and relaxing... Pricing felt reasonable compared to other hotels in Valle, especially for how nice and comfortable everything was... One thing to note: Valle de Guadalupe is very spread out. This isn't a place to stay if you want nightlife or to be within walking distance of multiple wineries. You'll definitely need to drive to get around, and some of the roads are unpaved... The host was also extremely welcoming.. We arrived late after hours, and they were still available at the front desk, answered all our questions, and made us feel really comfortable... Overall, Ojo Azul is a beautiful, clean, romantic place to stay if you're looking for a quiet wine country escape. Would definitely recommend for couples looking to unwind..

The wines were fantastic, but what really made the experience stand out was the service. Everyone we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and genuinely excited to share their wines and story with us. Our sommelier was especially wonderful and made the tasting feel personal and relaxed rather than rushed or scripted. One of our favorite parts of the visit was the chocolate and wine pairing that my husband and I did together. Every pairing was thoughtfully put together, and it was so much fun discovering how the flavors changed and complemented each other with every sip and bite. The best surprise of the day? Finding out our sommelier was from the 805! As fellow Central Coast locals, it made the experience feel even more special and gave us an instant connection that we definitely weren't expecting to find in the middle of wine country in Baja.

From the moment you arrive, it's clear that this is more than a winery--it's a luxury destination designed for those who appreciate exceptional wine, world-class hospitality, and an unforgettable experience. We chose the chocolate and wine pairing, and it was, without exaggeration, 100/10. Every pairing was thoughtfully curated, allowing each wine and handcrafted chocolate to complement one another beautifully. It was easily the best chocolate and wine pairing we've experienced in Valle de Guadalupe. What truly elevated our visit was our wine host. We sampled more than a dozen wines, and throughout the tasting he generously poured several complimentary selections that weren't even included in our package because he genuinely wanted us to experience the breadth of El Cielo's collection. His passion for winemaking, extensive knowledge, and warm personality transformed what could have been a standard tasting into an educational and memorable journey through their portfolio. The property itself is absolutely breathtaking. Immaculately maintained with stunning architecture and panoramic vineyard views, every detail reflects elegance and refinement. El Cielo also features a beautiful resort on-site, making it the perfect destination for anyone wanting to fully immerse themselves in wine country without ever leaving the estate. One of the most unique touches is the private helicopter landing pad, allowing guests to arrive in spectacular fashion and adding another layer of exclusivity to the experience. It's easy to understand why this estate has become a favorite retreat for celebrities and travelers seeking luxury, privacy, and impeccable service. Every member of the staff made us feel genuinely welcome, the service was polished without ever feeling pretentious, and the cleanliness of the entire property was impeccable. There are many wonderful wineries in Valle de Guadalupe, but El Cielo has become our absolute favorite. Between the outstanding wines, unforgettable chocolate pairing, luxurious accommodations, exceptional service, and breathtaking setting, this is the winery we will continue returning to every time we visit the valley. It is the kind of place that reminds you wine tasting isn't just about what's in the glass--it's about creating an experience you'll remember long after the last pour.

The venue itself is breathtaking and spacious, allowing you to host not just a wedding day, but an entire wedding weekend your guests will remember. The team goes above and beyond to listen to your vision and thoughtfully incorporate every detail, making the experience even more beautiful and personalized. We would recommend this venue--and this incredible team--to anyone. We stayed from Friday to Monday (with a Saturday wedding). While a majority of our family, and bridal party stayed on site, we had plenty of others that stayed at htoels near by. Early on in the process, the Villa del Paraiso team recommended Vista Hermosa which worked perfectly as they provided shuttles to and from our venue throughout the weekend. Additionally, the food is amazing! Villa del Paraiso's chef, Jorge, and his wife, Ame, are truly exceptional. I've been to many weddings, and it's often difficult for food prepared for large groups to come out warm and flavorful--but they absolutely delivered. We had countless guests tell us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. Everything was served warm and prepared perfectly. My husband, Jake, and I are so sad our wedding weekend is over. I wanted to change to an outdoor venue since it was more safe for our small 85 guests. But, they made it seem like they couldn't find outdoor winery in Valle de Guadalupe. Here I am contacting places 7 months before my wedding. Everywhere I called they're was availability. At first everything was going great and little things started to fall out of place. Keep in mind that all the planning started in December of 2019. I would say that you need to stay on top of everything! I mean everything! Keep asking questions or state your concerns. If you want a certain vendor at your wedding I would say contact them directly. Going thru Lorena Cardenas will cost you an arm and a leg. I had three different vendors and was less than half the price. Taco stand guy $240 for 100 people, Mariachi $600 for 3 hours and also a music group for $500 for the whole night. My biggest complaint was getting a call literally 4 weeks before my wedding that the church was missing a document. I sent all the documents that was required in July of 2020 and why are they telling me about this 4 weeks before my wedding? I was so stressed out!! Literally, had to call several churches in LA to get this paperwork expedited to Ensenada within a 2 weeks. Also, I had the DJ call me the night before my wedding asking me for the type of music I wanted him to play. Which was so weird because I wasn't even prepare for that phone call. I told him to play newer hip-hop and Spanish music and that didn't happened. When it was time to our bridal party to enter he didn't even announce their names.
