The only complaint I have is that when I turn on the faucet the water came out was brown color. Luckily there was 2 bottles of water so I used that to brush my teeth. Everything else was good. It looks like the parking lot has good security.

After the second time this woke me up with a palpitating heart thinking I was going to have a heart attack, I called the front desk, while that noise was still going on, to complain and requested a different room ... Instead of being polite and just moving me to a new room, they started to insist for me to pay more money, and they cant move me... Even though the loud noise was assaulting my peace and serenity that I longed for when I booked this room. I had only been in the room for 2 hrs, and they insisted I could not cancel. After explaining this to my booking agent, and at the front desk for 2hrs, I was finally given a refund. And finally left toward a different hotel. The customer service was terrible, thinking about the money.. Instead of making the customer whole for the agony of not getting the rest and comfort that was paid for. I don't say this lightly, think twice before booking a room at Hotel Malibu, definitely DON'T DO IT "Service is what makes you come back again and again." Well, that did not happen here. At any price, nobody deserves to be treated like I was. . Por un problema que otro huésped causaba, mi estancia fue terrible. Termine por irme a otro hotel. Por el mal servicio, tratar de sacar mas dinero, no solucionar el problema, no se merecían mi dinero... por supuestamente un hotel de calidad. Solo si dieran buen servicio es cuando uno quisiera regresar. NO FUE ASI A cualquier precio, nadie se merece ser tratado como lo fui yo.

Everything else is great!…read more I've been here two nights and dinner has been terrible the first night I had chicken in mole it was a chicken breast, had two bites and tasted a bit off I looked at the chicken and it was undercooked. I didn't complain just paid for it. The second night I had the tostadas de callo. I've had these many times but what I received was old smelly, squishy callo. I had to complain. They didn't charge me for my plate and service was really bad. Room is great and breakfast are amazing but dinner here I have to say not good at all.

We went down stairs and the front desk switched us to a new room, no fuss. We went up to the rooftop bar, great views and great drinks. The food however was a different story. Everyone in my group had issues with the food we sent back some of the food, but it wasn't any better when it returned to the table. Needless to say we did not eat here again. If you stay here visit the bar for the views but avoid the food. Overpriced and very low quality. Lastly, the hotel lobby has no restroom!!! Almost everyday while waiting for our friends in the lobby we had to make the trip up to our room in the 5th floor to use the bathroom. The was such an inconvenience. The hotel is centrally located and there are many restaurants and places to see within walking distance. I personally will not stay here again.

They made my reservation for the wrong dates I requested early check in as I always fly in from out of the country on an all night flight and I have been waiting for over 6 hours without any response to resolve the issue and no room has been given to me even after they made the mistake to reserve the incorrect dates

    Horrible horrible experience. Had two rooms - both parties would never stay here again…read more My wife and I's first room, filthy. Turned a blind eye to it. Sink clogged. Requested assistance and they said they'd send someone right up - nothing. Waited 1.5 hours, then called again. Finally after 9pm someone came up to help. Requested our room to be serviced, no one even came up. On the 19th floor, and super loud. The other family in the other room had the same experience. Tons of noise (we heard drills from construction) and about 4 x 1-2 min long trains come by (sounded like it was almost in our hotel) from 3am-6am. We finally went downstairs and they switched us rooms to the 23rd floor. The new room, nearly just as filthy. The shower was disgusting, so this time we took it upon ourselves to clean. We had milk in the fridge only to find out 6 hours later, it didn't even work. At 9:30pm, we called and the lady lugged up a new fridge. Here we are at 9am thinking we are finally settling in, and realized the ceiling is leaking water in the bathroom and it's a total health hazard. Knowing we will have to switch rooms again, we're livid. Called the front desk requested the GM and it's like bodyguards not wanting to transfer us. They said come and see what we can do. What a FREAKING JOKE. I'll make sure to share our experience with anyone and everyone online and offline. For the price we paid we court have stayed at NH collection but unfortunately chose this disgusting place with an ignorant staff. Who wants to switch rooms 3 times and burn our time during our vacation with family?? If that's you, come!
