2 Ford Fusion Low beam Headlamp bulbs installed, "$175."
    Realdeal H.

$348 to swap out a bulb on a 2012 Ford fusion. What a ripoff. The kid in customer service who tried to explain their mentality doesn't make a fraction of what the dealership makes on it either. " the recommended way to change this bulb is to take the entire front bumper off." But they never had to take it off in the past and they charged me a lot less in the past. The service department got so bad over there. I wouldn't even consider buying a car there! Bend over! The response here has nothing to do with the immediate inquiry I was just quoted $348 and they said they need to take the front bumper off to get at the bulb which is not true. YouTube it a$$holio. The care quality should be on your side. Bottom line : You raised all of your costs and you're making all your customers pay for it. I respect that you want to do everything "perfectly" but there are quicker ways to do it. I feel like I got in your taxi and you took the scenic route to the airport. I would never buy a car from Quirk Ford because I just don't trust your service department. I thought the customer came first. The biggest disappointment is that you completely wasted my time.

    Great deal. Thanks Anthony!

I had the best experience purchasing a new truck at Quirk Ford. Anthony, my salesman made the deal happen. I was shopping around for a new truck for my work to replace a smaller plow truck. I got around six estimates from various other dealers and even visited two local ones. I had all estimates in hand and was ready to buy one of them by the end of the month (cash buyer). On a Friday afternoon, Quirk Ford popped up on my computer. I decided to check their inventory even though they were about an hour away. They had the best selection of trucks, more than all the other dealers combined. I found one that caught my eye and sent an email. Anthony called me a couple of hours later after I left work. I told him what I was looking for and asked about the truck that I saw online, figuring it was a bait and switch. I told him that I was definitely interested and that I was an hour away. He said that he wouldn't want me to drive all that way and not make a deal. I went up on Tuesday and made a deal that I was happy with. No pressure at all. He beat the lowest estimate by $600 and I got a better truck with more features. I couldn't be more happy.

2015, Ford F150 V6 echo boost. I would give this vehicle 0 stars if I could. the moonroof almost never worked rights after a year of use. now when it opens it snaps back and squeaks loudly when its closed. brought it in about 5 times for this. I gave up on getting it fixed so it stays closed. 3 years later the springs in the front seat broke which in turn broke the heating mechanism and now 8 years later it needs a new transmission which will run anywhere from 4 to 8k. oh and by the way, the rim chrome tires are pealing. not to mention the engine light and check wrench light has been on and off over the past 3 years. overall just an awful vehicle to purchase and this cost 40k when I bought it. this vehicle is the purest form of crap with 4 wheels.

How I found the caliper in New York.

On June 27, 2022 I brought my Explorer in for a clicking noise. The vehicle was at Quirk Ford until July 12, 2022. Upon driving the vehicle home I notice that the Explorer was all over the road. I called the service department back and made arrangements to bring the vehicle back the next day (07/13/2022)to be repair, as we were going to South Carolina the next day(07/14/2022). Fast forward one week and we are driving back home. I was in New York when upon applying the brakes, the vehicle took a hard left almost hitting the jersey barrier. Followed by multiple warning indicators. I was able to limp the vehicle off the Tappan Zee bridge. I inspected the vehicle and found that the left rear caliper had fallen off the caliper bracket and jammed into the wheel. Upon further inspection, I had found that the brake pad was missing and the bolts that attach the caliper to the bracket completely gone. This was the side that just had the left rear axle replaced. I was able to make a temporary repair to limp the vehicle home. I called Ford roadside to make arrangement to have it towed it back to Quirk Ford. I called the service department on Monday and asked to speak with a service manager, I was told he was busy and would call me back. I waited but never got a return call, so I followed my vehicle to Quirk. Went into the service and spoke with a service advisor and asked again to speak with the manager. They had me wait in the waiting room for over 30+ minutes before I had to reenter and asked again for the manager. I was finally helped by the assistant manager, Josh. The first 2 things I said to him were 1.) You never called me back and 2.) you made me wait. I was pretty mad at this point because I felt that my incident was not being taken seriously. I was told he was the only manager and that he was busy. I explained the situation of what happen to my vehicle. He brought it into the shop because he wanted to see it for "his own eyes". We agreed to what repairs it needed and I was given a rental. I was called on Friday that the vehicle was all set. Drove down to Quirk and found that the repairs that we had agreed were not done. Spoke with the service advisors and they said they would speak with Josh. The vehicle stayed until Saturday when they did the rest of the repairs. I had to call back on Saturday and Josh said it was his fault because he didn't relay the message. BS, he tried to be sneaky and get out as cheap as possible. Only put one side of new brake pads. They DON'T care about your life. I honestly felt that I was a bother to them. Their mistake almost killed my family. This is my wife's vehicle, I feel had she been driving that the outcome might have been different. They couldn't be bothered by what I had to say. They just YES me to death just to get me out of there hair. We agreed to repairs and I had to fight to get it fixed. I called today (08/01/2022)for the receipt and still nothing. My vehicle is ceramic coated as well as the wheels and calipers. I am trying to get reimbursed for this and once again its no answer or I don't know. Do yourself the favor and find a better service department that will deliver a better product. They promise a lot and deliver nothing. How Josh is a manager is beyond me. He tries to hide from the customer instead of dealing with it head on. I feel bad for the advisors because it seemed that they were covering for him because they know he's useless. I will say that they delivered the vehicle back to me and Josh said he would fuel up the Explorer but that didn't happen. Called again today (08/02/2022) and asked to speak with Josh. The service advisor said he couldn't find him but he would call me back. I never received a call back.

I drove three hours each way to Quincy, looked at the car, and put $23,000 down in cash. I want to be specific about the timeline, because it matters. I took possession of the car and texted my salesperson the very same day -- within about an hour of driving off the lot -- telling him the front end was shaking violently at highway speed. That message is timestamped. This was not something that developed weeks later. It was wrong before I ever owned it. His response was that the car had been "super smooth" when he drove it. So I did what they apparently didn't. I took it to New Country BMW in Hartford at 44,949 miles -- roughly 200 miles after purchase -- and paid for a real inspection. Here is what a BMW factory technician put on the repair order: * The right rear rim is bent at the inner lip and "already has a pre-existing wheel repair weld from a cracked rim." The technician wrote that this bent rim is what is "causing vibration at higher speeds." * The front tires are Vredestein 245/40/19. The rears are Michelin 255/40/19. Different brand, different size. He wrote that the rear tires "are the wrong size for the car" and that "mismatched tires negatively impacts the all wheel drive system of the BMW." * The right front tire has a large sidewall scrape with "part of sidewall missing/gouged." * His written recommendation: "RECOMMEND NOT DRIVING UNTIL RESOLVED AS THE MISMATCHED/DAMAGED TIRES COULD CAUSE A BLOW OUT." The quote to make this car safe: $5,065.28. How does a dealership run a safety inspection and not catch two different tire sizes, two different brands, and a welded rim? That is two minutes on a lift. Either nobody actually looked, or somebody looked and sold it anyway. Both answers should concern you. Before I bought it, I asked directly whether the car had ever been modified or altered. The written answer was "Nope never." A weld on a cracked wheel is a structural repair. When I raised the tire damage afterward, I was told in writing that it "only affect[s] safety if wire exposed." That response ignored the welded rim and the mismatched sizes completely. The logistics have been just as bad. On the day the registration was finalized, I gave my salesperson a ride from the Putnam, Connecticut DMV all the way back to Quincy, Massachusetts. That was not my responsibility or my obligation -- the dealership should have arranged transportation for its own employee. Because I did it, I couldn't get both vehicles home and had to have my Honda towed. Since then it has been nothing but back and forth to Quincy. I work nights and live about 90 miles away. I asked whether we could simply meet halfway to save us both the trip -- something I wasn't obligated to offer or pay for, and only suggested to reduce the hassle. That went nowhere. I also tried to split the cost. I offered to have them cover two tires and the rim while I bought the other two tires and paid for installation myself -- out of pocket, on a car I had owned for a week. That wasn't good enough either. The car has sat parked and undriveable since the week I bought it while I make loan payments on it. If you buy from this dealership, do not rely on their inspection. Spend a couple hundred dollars on an independent pre-purchase inspection at a franchise dealer for that brand. Get the car on a lift and look at all four wheels and all four tires yourself before you sign anything. That small expense would have saved me thousands of dollars and weeks of my life. I have the repair order, the tire measurements, the photographs, and every timestamped message.
