Brought my 2023 Armada in for a drive mode control button inop and a stuck multi function button. Car still in warranty. I had already removed the drive mode controller assy and cleaned it several times to see if I could free the button. I was dead. They came back with a $2K bill for both switches and no coverage. They claimed contamination to the modules. Asked how much just for the drive mode controller and quoted $650. I can get it for $300 elsewhere. It's a 5 min replace. I declined the work and the service guy slid my keys across the desk in disgust, crumpled up the quote, turned and walked away. It's the attitude the rankled me the most. Too bad too. If they were even half way decent I was going to buy a car from them in the next few months. Looks like I'll be shopping elsewhere. Oh well. read more

If I could give zero or negative stars to this review, I would definitely do so!! We have a 2023 Nissan Pathfinder which we purchased from Boch Nissan a couple years ago. On January 19th a number of warning lights went off on the screen. The message was that there was a misfire in the engine. We parked the car back at home and made an online service appointment at Quirk Nissan. The following morning I took the car in and met with the service advisor. What happened next was one of the most outrageous scenarios that I've been involved in, filled with lies and deception. This story is almost unfathomable!!! The service advisor asked me what was wrong with the car and I informed him that a warning light when off and it indicated a misfire. Without hesitation the advisor said it was rodents chewing the wires in my engine and quickly showed me a bill from another customer for $6700.00 for repairs due to rodent damage and then whispered "don't worry, your car insurance will cover it". I found it odd that he explained and identified this without even looking at the car. I left the car with them but on the drive home, I called back the advisor and said ... if there is any indication of rodent damage ... do not touch the car, I will pick it up and get a second opinion. I just did not trust the situation, everything about it seemed weird. I called at the end of the day and was told they could not identify the problem and would have to keep the car another day. I still did not feel good about the situation so the next day I went in to see the service manger with my wife - his name was Chris.I explained what had happened the previous day and that I was not feeling good about having the car repaired if it was not covered by the warranty and if there was rodent damage. In a very aggressive way Chris said ,.. "How do you know it's not rodent damage and the issue with the car is covered by warranty" ????? I asked him "is it rodent damage " ?? And he said we don't know. He then took us into the service bay to see the car. The engine was taken apart which I found this odd because most of these types of problems are easily identified by a computer. Chris then showed me what he identified at rat droppings (apparently he is an authority on specifically identifying rat droppings ... ok really ? ) inside the intake manifold (see pictures). They were like clay balls that resembled mud - nothing that looked like rodent droppings!!! I could not believe it because the droppings were large and it's impossible that a rat could get inside the core of the engine???? Also, note they are positioned in the area where the manifold cover bolts to the engine !! A rat is the size of a soft ball and would have to get inside the engine through the manifold cover which is not even possible!! See pic of manifold cover!! Also, an engine runs at 200+ degrees!!! How could the droppings not burn up or a rodent live??? I drive this car for work and travel regionally, it's never sitting around. I immediately said to Chris that this is a set up, a lie and a scam and he quickly walked away and disappeared into an office. I went back and found another service advisor and told him to put the engine back together and I will have the vehicle towed to another dealer. I had the car sent to Coastal Nissan for a second opinion. They hooked a computer up to the car and within minutes found the issue with the vehicle. It was an electronic part that caused the problem. There was absolutely no reason to open the engine of the car. They replaced the part and I picked the car up the next day. I explained to them the experience I had at Quirk and they could not believe it !!! They told me it was impossible a rat could get inside the core of an engine and that the droppings could even exist with the heat of the engine. They also explained that they have heard of this scam before but never in a major dealership. It is almost inconceivable that Quirk would go that far to get money out of customers. I felt so bad for the person who spent $6700 to have a questionable repair done and even if it was covered by auto insurance, you would still have to pay the deductible. If you ever get in a situation like this with your vehicle, ask for a second opinion. Wow beware of this scam with Quirk!!!! You will note the lies and denial in Quirks Reply. Funny that the second dealer found none of these rodent issues and it was not even a consideration. They diagnosed the problem within minutes. read more

Nissan of North America deliberately pushed back their responsibility under warrantee to Replace these defective unsafe headlights. I'm currently have two options legally now. Review for Quirk Nissian I recently visited Quirk Nissian and had a mixed experience. I was very happy with the salesperson, who was professional and helpful throughout the process. However, my experience with the sales manager was quite disappointing. Initially, I was told that I would receive a discount on the SUV I was interested in, which had an MSRP of $32,000. After researching the model, I found that the dealership was trying to overcharge me by $5,000. When I pointed this out and decided to leave, the sales manager approached us and asked us to stay. I felt offended and like I was being taken advantage of. The sales manager then offered another vehicle of the same model but with more options, said with all the discounts it was priced at $32,000. When I asked about the discount, he said they have been included. This left a bad taste in my mouth, and I told my wife that we would never buy a car from this establishment. Overall, while the salesperson was great, the sales tactics used by the management were unacceptable. I would not recommend this dealership to others. Yesterday my wife and I came in to look at Rogues and we got dismissed as soon as we walked in because of the way we looked. We got passed around and were reluctantly shown the 2 models we were looking at. After taking one for a test drive my wife and I returned to the dealership and asked the sales person for a card, which he was reluctant to provide. I had to ask for a card twice. Today went to Marlboro Nissan and dropped $28k on a 2020 Rogue SL premium. We were treated with respect and dignity by them. I called ahead of time to schedule an oil change. I will admit, it was approaching the end of the business day when I called but I was assured that i would receive same day service for my oil change as long as I arrived before 3:00pm. I arrived with 10 minutes to spare, parked my car in the service garage and proceeded inside to see a representative. As soon as I approached the customer service counter, all of the service representatives began logging off their computers, walked right past me, and avoided eye contact. It was still roughly 2:55 at this point and the last service representative available finished with his client (I saw the rep give the customer her receipt). He then proceeded to have a candid conversation for an additional 15mins while I was waiting. After the customer leaves, the representative says I can leave my car for next day service because all of the mechanics are done for the day. I live pretty far from Quirk Nissan but I always bring my car to them for service. Anything I've needed, they can do it when other Nissan dealers closer to home say it can't be done, particularly if it involves a computerized setting. I used to take my Maxima there for years and now I take my Murano to them. They're worth the extra time and mileage to get things done right the first time. read more

My husband and I had an exceptionally great experience with Yaw. We had just left Mazda and we were underwhelmed by the service and experience, so we did not have high expectations for Nissan either. We met Yaw, he sat us down, learned about our needs and wants, and was truly a wealth of knowledge. We told him we were just looking at options the day we came in and not looking to buy anything on that day. He let us test drive many different cars, specifically the Rogue which we really liked. He spent a lot of time with us, never getting impatient with all of our questions, and let us drive out of the lot, without him in the car, to see how we liked it. We really liked this part because he wanted us to trust him and I knew if he was in the car I wouldn't be able to really talk to my husband about how I felt about the car or be 100% comfortable. After test driving a few different cars, we actually decided to buy one and again he made the process very seamless and easy. He did all the paperwork himself, answered all of our questions, and was very calm and not pushy at all. He was a wonderful salesperson and I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase your next car. I would also like to thank Mike, when we went to pick up our car just a few days later, we met Mike, the technical support specialist. He was extremely personable, showed us all the features that the car had to offer, and answered a lot of our questions. Don't know why I fell for it. My initial conversation with Kevin on phone and text describe the great lease offer a few times that the base model Murano was 99$. If they know that I need to qualify for some why not ask up front ?? That was my first issue. Second issue is I'm coming out of a lease that I still owed a little bit on so I know I was Down but was going To pay off. Salesman I don't even remember his name thats how good he was and the aggressive sales manager so good I don't. Remember his name either just from yesterday had me over 500$ with 5000 down. And that's doing me a favor and screwing the dealership cause it's such a good deal. But the 532 monthly price is only 10$ weekly more than my 331 payment because Nissan gives you 14 week grace period. After sitting alone for about 15 min waiting for maybe a new calculation program to fix the numbers I walked out drove 45 min back home and went to new Nissan dealer. Looked at same Car, same model. Less payment then I went in for and less than 5k down. 100 times easier process and negotiation. I'd never go to quirk again. They didn't even call to see if I was coming back. read more

I am pretty certain my husband and I are the only people in history to be physically removed from a car dealership...On Monday 8/22 I had scheduled a meeting with a gentleman named Rotimi. Upon arrival, he met with me and we began discussing options for the upcoming end of my leased vehicle. My intention was to buy out the lease, which I had expressed to Rotimi. Rotimi had produced an outline of fees associated with buying out my lease, which included a ~$14K buyout price, a ~$2,995 title acquisition fee, a $400 DOC fee, a registration fee, and other that I unfortunately am unable to recall. My contract identifies a $13K price to buy out my vehicle, I had left this document at home and when requesting a copy of it from Rotimi, I was told that he does not have access to it and to acquire it would be a process. I then requested to take a copy of the document outlining the costs, when I was told that I could not have a copy but I could write down the fees, and he handed me a business card and a pen to do so. Of course, a business card was not large enough for me to appropriately note the 10+ line items of fees, so I requested a piece of paper. I inquired why I was not permitted to have a copy of this document and was told that it is Quirk policy. My husband who arrived sometime during this conversation then sat with me; I requested to see the document again and Rotimi told me no. When my husband asked, he was told that because he is not the buyer, he could not see it. I then requested to view the policy that outlines why I could not take the document with me, and was again told no, and that it's because of the risk of identity theft, despite only my personal information being included on this document other than the outline of fees. I requested again to see the document as the buyer of the vehicle, and was again denied and told to "go through Nissan." My husband then verbally announced he would begin recording the conversation as it seemed very inordinacy for us to be denied an outline of proposed fees associated with purchasing the vehicle; we requested to see the manager. At this point, Rotimi walked away with the document, and returned with his manager and without the document. I asked for the manager's name and title and he refused to provide that information. They then demanded that we leave the dealership, physically waving us out of the door to the point the manager's hand contacted my husband's back. It was extremely aggressive, inappropriate, and unprofessional behavior from both Rotimi and the unnamed manager. I ended up buying out my lease for $4,000 less than what these frauds wanted me to pay. BEWARE read more

Forget the service department at Quirk Nissan. What a bunch of crooks. Went in for transmission issues, they kept my car for 3 days. I made it 18 miles from Quirk before the transmission goes completely. I was told it would be a week. It was 12 days until the work was done. Zero concern for customer service. Watch out for Dave. Went in for a flat tire. Told me it couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced. Had to replace two. Quoted me at $89 per tire and my bill listed each tire at $130 a piece. That was not including labor, taxes, and other service charges. read more

It was time for a new car....and briefly after we walked away from our car, heading straight into the maze of freshly used cars, Nick Molchan came over and asked us what we were looking for. We were hoping to see some new models of cars available to lease and Nick brought us over to those cars and talked with us through each model of that specific type of car we were looking for. You can never really count on the website because they do take into account your credit score when coming down with what monthly plan will work and etc etc. Credit score will definitely make how much you need to pay a month go up as that was the case for us. Even though I managed to talk it down since I was leasing, it was still like we were giving up our used car up for free since the monthly payment is still pretty expensive. Also most of the time it's a base model so it's not as nice as the upper tiers which has more things you may want like seat heaters. I was really looking to put $0 down, but sometimes that doesn't work out. Nick was very nice to work with, very professional and listened to what I was looking for. Not sure he knew every feature of the car I was getting but it's okay, he made the experience very enjoyable though it took hours to get the paperwork done, get the color we want. He wasn't pushy at all, not trying to make us get the more expensive models which was nice. My first time doing all this so I will be even better in a few years when we need another new car! A friend of mine got a similar deal in a different part of the state and didn't do any negotiation... hmm, shop around, have good credit and see what happens! read more

June 2, 2018: Purchased 2018 Nissan Altima TLDR: Friendly staff, great deal and a great experience. I pulled onto the lot on a muggy Saturday afternoon in June. With my 8 year old in tow, we were met outside the front by Pedro, with a smile and a welcoming handshake. I was frank with Pedro, I was simply researching - there would be no sale today. I would not run credit, and I was not test driving anything. Today was about facts and features. I was relieved that Pedro understood that, and respected it. A quick side-note - for an 8 year old, my son is quite an observant kid. We believe he has some sort of a photographic memory, and he LOVES cars. More specifically, he loves learning facts about cars. This is awesome, but can be off putting for some in sales. Pedro handled it like a champ, answering the litany of questions my son had, some having very little to do with the Altima line. This was a very refreshing, as the other dealerships that I visited that day had borderline ignored my sons questions. Now, the meat and potatoes. My credit is not exemplary. I stilled out a good c chunk on my 2013, and was looking for a very aggressive trade in offer as well. Pedro and the finance team worked TIRELESSLY (over the course of 2 weeks) to find a deal that fit these (somewhat lofty) requirements. They put me in a car that I wanted, for a price that any of those internet watch sites called a bit before fair value. From top to bottom, the dealership worked for me, especially Pedro. Going back and forth between his manager and fianance (not in the BS game playing way you're thinking of) multiple times could not have been easy, espcially given the aggressiveness of my negotiation. He handled it with flying colors. Having read some of the reviews on here, I am shocked these people are talking about the same place. The folks here were incredibly friendly, honest, and no-nonsense. I would highly recommend anyone looking to buy a Nissan come in and check them out! 8/11/2018 Update I walked in on a rainy Saturday. I was about a month late for my complimentary 30 day check in that THE DEALERSHIP contacted me about. Let me say, this was a nice touch. Being in sales, I know this is a great satisfaction activity, but nonethelesss, I loved it. Contacting a customer before the 30 days was up shows they stand behind what they sell. Bravo, Quirk. Back to the story, I walked in and was greeted by Craig Wetzel, the Service Manager. Imagine that, a service manager greeting customers! Within 10 min, my car was ALREADY getting a detail, while Craig explained what work was to be done that day. I had one of the worst experiences I have ever had at a dealership. I called and was inquiring about leasing a Nissan Sentra because my current lease was up in two months. A manager told me that Nissan would wipe out the last two months payments and it would not affect the negotiations on the price of the new car. When I got to the dealership I told them I wanted to put 1000 down. The salesman quoted a really high price and was trying to get to put 1000 down plus the first month payment. We haggled for a bit over the price and he came back with the manager and he gave me a price slightly lower that the first price. I told them I was all set and would try another dealership and try to get a better price. As I was walking to my car the salesman followed me outside and started arguing with me. It was totally unprofessional. I have purchased about 8 brand new vehicles in my lifetime and have never been treated as bad as I was at this dealership. Where do I start. I brought my Son here to buy his first car and what did we get for sale service. The Sale Manager himself. We thought great, this might be real good because he was the sale manager. Anyways, he took us to see the car and my son liked it a lot. So we went inside to get the numbers done and then we will take it for a test drive. We saw the add that this Nissan Dealer had on there website. The price was very reasonable so that's why we were here the that specific car. So the Sale Manager went to get the numbers and came back and showed us the numbers. He really tried to CHEAT us of about $1500 or so. I looked at my Son and I said to the sale manager this is not what it said on your website. Then the sale manager said really? Let me check, when he came back to us. He said oh that's the old ad. So I pulled up my iPhone and checked and nope. It was the most recent ad that they had with dates on it and everything. After all that stupidity he still try to say that he is going to give us a deal. And this guy is the sales manager. I will never recommend this dealer to any of my family, friends, coworkers and my followers. Nissan, you really need to train this guy more or put him in the parts department where he can't service your customers directly. read more

I went in for an oil change and, right off the bat they came with a list of things I need done. I only added on tire rotations cause it was highly suggested. An hour and 1/2 later they come back that my breaks are 2 millimeters and 3 millimeters is low. He kindly told me that this cost is around 460 dollars give or take. I said can you show me a break down and he said he could just tell me. He said the labor was around 220 because it's per hour and it would take an hour and 1/2. In my head I was thinking the oil change I just got with tire rotations was around 85 dollars and took an hour and 1/2 so, someone pulled that price out of their behinds. Mind you I got there when it was basically empty and now the place is filling up and people are complaining about how long it is taking for oil changes. Finally 3 hours in I get my bill and he tells me my transmission is leaking but this is "normal wear and tear". I got this car in 2016 brand new. Please let me know why all these things are going wrong? Also my transmission leaking is not wear and tear and should be covered under warranty but I couldn't sit there any longer with employees acting like this it is a hang out and lounging around having personal conversations. i paid my bill with an attitude and went on my way cause I couldn't deal with the stupidity any longer. My sales guy was clearly scared of me but tried to stay kind and I can't blame him for his ignorance of working at such a horrible place but I can blame him for turning a blind eye to clear scams he is feeding people. Also the guy stated he gave me a discount for the breaks that on my bill is 433.59 when the breaks were gonna cost "around" 460 . Less than 30 bucks for a complete bill of 544.75 dollar is nothing my dear, this is no discount let's get that straight. And who knows if the price "around 460" as actually the 433.59 and he pretended it was a discount, because no where on my bill does it say I got a discount. Please read attached photo of express services. Which all my services done are included on. Why did it take 3 hours? I have no idea. Also, I looked up in my car to see when I needed to go in next and they didn't replace my sticker. I will be going through all my bills over these years and what my warranties should be including. They tried to convince me to lease a lower model car than I told them I wanted and it took 1 HOUR for them to give me a price. We told them they had one shot. For an SL Altima AWD, they wanted 5k down and a monthly payment of $365. The number we got from others was $228 a month with 3.5k down. We immediately got up and attempted to walk out thanking them for wasting our time. Here was the biggest kicker of them all and what pissed us off the most. During all this, they kept my wife's car key hostage so we couldn't leave! The car had to be appraised and I asked multiple people in the hour we were there to give us the key back. Every time it fell on deaf ears and they held onto it until we walked out the door when I demanded it. Buyers be aware and do your research. There are plenty of other Nissan dealerships that are way better than these scum! They might promise you a good deal, and you might eventually make a deal, but I can guarantee you that you will be there for 3-4 hours and be pissed off the entire time. read more

AWFUL experience. Truly was shocked at the extent these employees will go to...and not in a good way. Kevin lied over and over and over again to me for weeks on the phone just to get me in the door, spewing false information to me that I later found out he had no authority on. When I finally went in person to finalize the deal I sat for four hours only to be told I was not approved...something I probably could have been told a lot sooner. There could not have been more "managers" sitting around doing absolutely nothing as I waited. Such a disappointment and waste of my time. Had my second Nissan at the time and attempted to get my third however this dealership confirmed I will never be a Nissan customer again. read more

I leased a 2021 Nissan Sentra. I wanted my reserved plates transferred to the leased car. It should only take 3-4 days but it took a month. The salesman kept telling me he was sending the paperwork immediately. It came to a point where he didn't return my calls. I finally had to go over his head to his boss and it was taken care of. After having the car for about a month the battery died. I called AAA And brought the car to Quirk. They said the battery was low and they charged it up. My point was that a new battery shouldn't need charging but they told me it was now safe to drive. It happened again a week later but was able to get it started. I took it back again and insisted on a new battery. They told me to drive the car more often. Long story short the manager approved a new battery. Had a great experience last december. I Went there to check out an SUV with no intention or expectation of being able to get a new car. I owned a 2015 Toyota Corolla, and found out I was paying over 15% in interest, I had bought that vehicle directly from Toyota, and I guess for being my first financed vehicle, they applied those outrageous rates without making myself aware of any of it. Deivison helped me out, showed me all the rates I would be paying and found a bank that offered me 2%. My monthly payment was kept the same (remember it was a $20k Toyota), but now on a high end, best trim module 2017 Nissan Pathfinder (worth $46K), I'm just in love with this vehicle, great interior space, the tech on board is great, super nice to drive. Went in to buy a nissan rogue about 2 years ago. Was told A) that they dont manufacture them in white, and B) that i should buy a blue or orange model which we said we weren't at all interested in, got told "would you rather get the price you want or the car you want?" ummmm, both.
