Usually going to car dealership is not the most fun place to be but these guys are awesome, especially Kim! The place is super clean and spacious. There is plenty of seating and places to do your work if you have a laptop. Water bottles and coffee are even offered. It's the little things that matters! If they offer snacks would be even better lol I was very impressed with the video diagnosis that they sent you by text. It makes a huge difference when you are just looking at a piece of paper with the list of repairs and actually seeing for yourself which parts needs to be replaced. I had some issues with my transmission and Kim confirmed it was under warranty which I didn't know about. I bought my car here 10 years ago and glad to know that some things are still covered! Once they knew my repairs may take a while they immediately put me in a free brand new CX5 rental. They send updates by txt msgs which works way better than playing phone tag. I've tried going to a few other service places to save some money but they don't always do the greatest job. Glad I came back here and could not be more thrilled. Kim was so rude to me. Talked down to me. Told me they don't fix cars. They sell them and make a fee from it and THATS IT. My car has been defective since I bought it a year and a half ago. I explained all of my complaints to her and the staff from the first couple hundreds of miles until now and they have done nothing for me. Kim told me to call the attorney general because they are the only ones who can help with car issues. which the attorney general wanted to know why they wouldn't help me. Along with corporate also wondering why this was Kim's reaction to me. just terrible customer service. I was sold a car with scratches all over the hood. she said there is nothing we can do about it so right now, another dealership is fixing that and she told me now that another Mazda dealer is touching my car they can no longer touch my car at my original dealership which isn't true. I went here to get a simple leaky tire fixed and was met with one of the worst experiences I've had at a car dealership in my life. I dropped the car off and was called a bit later when Muha informed me that "We cannot honor your warranty because we can't find the original receipt for the tire," which doesn't make sense. I got the receipt for the tire from the dealership I had the work done at and gave it to them. They said "We just can't put it in the system it won't register." When I pushed the issue Muha said I can give you a tire but a different brand and tread. So you can't honor the warranty but all of a sudden you can give me a tire just not the right one? Then David Perry came out with his stank attitude and stupid facial expressions and told me we can't help you at all. Mind you to this point I was courteous and friendly. I went to Danvers had the problem fixed in 60 mins no questions asked. Unfortunate faced David Perry and Michael Muha (Temu Justin Timberlake) are scumbags and liars, nothing more nothing less. David Perry especially besides lying to me was rude and disrespectful although I was courteous and patient. He also refused to give me his name. Never come here to buy a car or otherwise you are better off driving to Danvers as crazy as that sounds. While sitting in the waiting area I also witnessed predatory salesman tactics. Usually places like this trickle down bad customer service and practices so I would avoid it like the plague. If I was a younger person with more time on my hands I would have more words for David and Mike. Wasted my entire day at a time where I really needed to be on my way. You guys are terrible and you know that about yourselves. Keep doing that to people see how it goes for you. Edit: Owner says they couldn't honor the warranty because the tire receipt didn't have the DOT number. I then contacted the original dealership that issued the tire and got a copy of said receipt with DOT number included. I also reached out to that dealership to get another opinion on what may be causing the issues and they also said you all were unfounded for refusing to honor my warranty. That's why I went straight to them and had it done in no time. I literally provided the full receipt with DOT number in the moment. Your associates were rude and unprofessional. Go ahead and try to cover your tracks now and make it seem like a misunderstanding. Avoid this place like the plague. read more

He ended up ghosting us since November 15th, 2023. In hindsight, we feel we got swindled into getting this car as he presented it as "the deal of the century." Worse service department in the Greater Boston area. Called in to corporate to request to turn off the default data collection on their TCU as per Mazda's term and they helped me schedule an appointment at Quirk Mazda, as per my rights on their site. What I got was the service manager and foreman texting me the next day telling me this isn't possible. Figured I give the benefit of a doubt and call in to confirm. Spoke to their service manager, and frankly it was a disaster. They tried to double down after I pointed them to the link, and confirmed that corporate told me they could do it. Tried to belittle and demean me, saying 'they've never even heard of it', and implying I was an idiot. Raised her voice and show a total lack of professionalism. After some back and forth they finally admitted this was something I could do, and gave an high price of 200 dollars and several days to take care of it. I agreed and thought that was the end of it. But then she made threats over the service link. On the pics I attached the second link was updated a day after our call, and she is basically threatened me, telling me there will be damage to the car, cause she and the service department, are inept and worse of all malignant. I literally called into the next closest mazda dealership, and they handled all of this with utmost professionalism. I want to post a review on the purchase of a new 2025 mazda cx5 at quirk mazda quincy. My wife and I had such a pleasant experience at that dealership. We really love the car and it was nice working with sales manager Victor Cirino and his assistant Ramon. Victor gave me a great deal on the price of the car and an extended warranty. We negotiated the deal over the phone and there were no tricks or surprises when we got to the dealership to sign all the papers and pickup the car. He answered all of our questions about the vehicle and really went out of his way to make sure everything was correct. We were comparing the cx5 to a toyota rav4 and we decided to go with the mazda because the quality seemed to be at the same level for thousands less. In recent years mazdas dependability and satisfaction ratings on jdpower and edmunds have been on par with toyota and honda. We have been toyota and honda owners for many years but one of our clients recommended the cx5 and we are glad they did. The cx5 is a really fun car to drive. If your considering buying a compact suv, you should really test drive one to see how amazing these cars are. The whole car feels like quality. These cars are made and assembled in japan.... not china or mexico. In many ways we like it more than the rav4. Also the 1.9% promotional interest rate that mazda is currently offering is unmatched by toyota, honda and even our own bank. Car is 3 months old, 300 miles on it and paint is chipping, also a known with the red paint according to internet. Took 2 weeks to get the paperwork done and no feedback from sales manager. Said he'd been trying to reach me but no email and no phone messages. During test drive the car I was considering was suddenly sold and the red one was available. Laughingly unprofessional, tricky, and staff. Your textbook car salesman, don't come here expecting anything else. Booked a test drive a week in advance. From the moment we walked in, the overall tone of the staff was condescending. The lady at the counter didn't even know which vehicle we were there for, information we provided prior to our appointment and most dealerships will already have noted. 15 minutes later, a burly salesman outside waves us down through the window from outside to finally test the vehicle. He told us we couldn't drive off the lot because there were were no license plates for our test vehicle. Strange, but fine, I'd come in knowing which vehicle I wanted. When we got back, we mentioned we'd like to move forward, and was directed to a desk where waited another 20 minutes until the same salesman from earlier lethargically walks over. The quote he gave us was basically MSRP and we returned him an offer, stating that we could get a higher trim level, or two, with his price. He said he wouldn't budge, and basically didn't even attempt selling us a car. I requested a broken down list of the car's price, accessories, and other fees, and he told us to write it down ourselves. When I tried to work with him and compensate his high ask with accessories, he said something along the lines of "What do you mean accessories? Sure you can have them, you'll just need to pay for them". We should have left at this point, but I was really considering to make a purchase, so we agreed on a price, and he leaves with my driver's license to put together some forms. Thinking it over, we decided the deal wasn't worth it, and left after he finally returned with my driver's license. I have had this CX5 for less than 2 years less than 16,000 miles on it and the rotors on the break are completely rusted! I had a Corolla for 10 years never had this issue before. Brought it to the dealer quirk Mazda in Quincy MA and they refuse to take accountability that this vehicle should not be having these issues and and The service manager Kimberly Mulrey was nasty condescending and rude. When I told her how dissatisfied I was she proceeded to tell me to go to a different dealer that they are independently owned and she was refusing to service me.The service department is corrupt and gave me an used tire as a replacement yet charged me for a new one. I've been hunting around for the last couple months for my new car, so when I came into Quirk Mazda, I already knew exactly what I was looking for. Chris was friendly, knowledgeable, and conversational. He didn't try to pressure me into purchasing a car I wasn't interested in, and he helped bring the cost of the car to a reasonable place. The reason my experience dropped from a five-star one to a two-star is because of how it ended. I was *accidentally* charged a surplus of three thousand dollars for my down payment, which I did not see until I arrived home; not at all an easy conversation with my bank and credit card company. When I asked if anything would or could be done to help with the fees that were incurred by my bank, I was told it was my fault for not checking the credit card slip I signed, despite my having signed a contract for a specific amount. In customer service, when you commit an error, you do what you can to remedy the error. The money will take five days to come back into my account; for five days I'm without funds. The car is great, the cost is great, the staff at Quirk is knowledgeable. But when mistakes this egregious are made, steps have to be taken to fix them, and I'm disappointed to find it's much easier for Quirk to accidentally take away value from a purchase than to add any. read more

This is my second review after patiently waiting six months to have a dent in my CX-5 repaired. I was told by the dealership they would repair my dent if I remove my honest review of them down. I was astonished as a business, they would ask me to do this. I hope this review will be spoken about in their next meeting to work on customer follow-up. Unfortunately the GM of dealer three months ago promised he would have my vehicle fixed and each time I spoke with him, he would make up an excuse why an repair had not been scheduled yet. I called this dealership a day prior to make an appointment and was told I would get a call back and never did. I decided to go in to check out the cars I was interested in. A sales person was nice enough to print out the spec sheets for me and told me that someone would be with me shortly. A sales person named NAMI walked over and immediately began discussing prices with us, which was odd. It felt like he was saying if you can't afford the cars there's no point in moving forward. He told us there was no wiggle room with prices. He did not talk to us about the cars at all. We told him we wanted to do a test drive and the cars were pulled up for us. We saw other drivers going out the parking lot, but he told us that due to COVID we had to stay in the parking lot. We told him that other Quirk dealerships were allowing test drives without attendants because of COVID. He asked us which dealerships and acted totally shocked and told us he was going to have to "make some calls" because that was against the rules. As we were parking the car we saw a couple heading out for a test drive with an attendant in the back seat!! So we said to Nami: How come people are going for test drives when you told us they are not allowed. We see people driving solo and with attendants. He said: "Who? Tony?" I told him we do not know the names of the people working here, but that is unfair to us. He then said well you all are shopping around and we are busy. So we said if that's the reason for not test driving then that's fine, but why did you say it was because of COVID? Then he said: I didn't know you wanted to test drive the car...We were like: then why were we in the car driving it around the parking lot?!? He was full of excuses and definitely was not taking us seriously at all. I was so turned off by his lies how could we even think of buying for him??? The only reason for the 1 star is for the nice gentleman we encountered when we entered who printed material for us and for the cars being pulled up, even though we only took one around the lot and the other one was sent off for other people...to test drive. COVID-19 risk. I visited the dealership on May 17, 2020 to finish buying a car and the salesperson was not wearing a mask at any time during the visit (and we were not 6 feet apart). I was wearing a mask in accordance with the Governor's Order and to protect the health and safety of other people. Multiple times, the salesperson's unmasked face was as close as 12 inches to my face as he kept looking over my shoulder as I was reviewing paperwork. I should have walked away several times. I booked an appointment for Sat at 2pm yet it was 2:15 before I was even acknowledged by anyone in the show room. I 1st spoke with a very nice young man Tony but he seemed to vanish and I was working with the sales manager Rachel. After driving several cars and going over with Rachel the features that mattered to me and the ones that did not. The main feature that did not matter to me was a sunroof and all else being equal I did not want a white car. I had decided on a 2018 Mazda CX-5 it had everything I was looking for and it was not white. I was just about to move forward with this "certified pre-owned" car when I noticed the plastic over the speedometer had a crack right down the middle. I told Rachel I wanted that car but I would only take it if the crack could be fixed. She was not willing to promise me they could fix it without talking to the service dept. which I understood so I asked if she would hold it for me till Monday. In typical used car salesperson style, she did not want to wait till Monday to close the sale, so she offered me 2 other options. They were both 2018 Mazda CX-5 and they both had " higher sticker prices because they had lower milage" One of the two other cars a white one which she said was just like the original car but didn't have a sunroof or a darker blue one that had everything and a sun roof. I looked at both and the blue one has some body damage and when I started it the engine was making a loud noise ( not what I would expect on a certified pre owned car. The white one had no visible issues and after driving it around the parking lot seemed to be a good car. Rachel offer to put a plate on it so I could go with someone out on the road. I declined her offer to take it out of the lot because it was now after 4 pm, all the sales people were with other people so who knows how long I would be waiting and I due to COVID concerns I did not want to be in a car with anyone. I reluctantly moved forward with the white one based on the information given to me by Rachel that it had everything my 1st pick did except a sunroof. I signed all the paperwork left the max allowed on a credit card and told Rachel I would be back on Monday to pick it up. Rachel asked me to let my insurance company know they would be faxing info over to them on Monday. Rachel said it would be close to 5 before the car would be ready. Monday came and I kept checking my phone and email looking for info from Rachel and by 4 when I had not heard from her, I headed up to Quincy. Just as I pulled into the parking lot Rachel calls me to tell me they have not received the info back from the ins company and it is 4:45 but if she gets it back by 6 she can still have my car ready. Long story shot my ins co had emailed it back but the person they emailed it back to left early that day, so no one knew they had it. My ins co stayed late and got the paperwork done and I was able to drive home with the car. My ride home I was beyond annoyed and did not even pay much attention to the car. Tuesday came and I got in my " new car" noticed the seats did not have the same options for adjusting and the radio was not a Bose I was annoyed by the seat but tried to shake it off. I got to work and went to put something in the trunk and realized it did not have a power open or close. I now have a car in the color I did not want without several of the features that were on my must have list. I reached out to Rachel to give her a chance to make thing right and she basically said my only option was to trade in my car and start all over again. read more

This was after I stood there for about 15 minutes waiting for help. The only car they had was the car that cost about 5k over my spending limit. To boot, it was 1k more than Kelly Blue book and the sales person said, the 1k was for the warranty. OK, SO LETS PUT ALL THE CARDS ON THE TABLE. Update: they reached out and walked me through the removal process which required getting some GooGone to get the leftover residue off the back of the vehicle. It may be somewhat standard process to add advertising on the back of a vehicle, but is wrong without consent. Newly purchased vehicles never show up with additional features you didn't pay for so shouldn't show up with dealer advertisements that you didn't consent to. Regardless, the car purchase experience otherwise was a good one and had they not altered my vehicle post-purchase without consent I would have given them at least a four star. I bought a CX-5 about a year ago and post-purchase and viewing the vehicle they smacked on a large "QUIRK MAZDA" decal / medallion on the back of the vehicle. It should be illegal to make post-purchase alterations like that to a vehicle. Otherwise my experience was a perfectly good one. Get a Mazda, just don't get it from Quirk. They are not transparent at all. I gave back my 2016 lease to get a 2919. I was reassured I was all set and didn't need to worry about anything. 2 months later I get a $1K bill from Chase saying I had to pay for new tires for the old car. Quirk's response? I'm responsible. The won't do a thing about it even though I was told I was all set during the lease of the new car. Go somewhere else for your Mazda! I will never do business with Quirk again.
