The outer screen was not cracked, and when the phone was opened up, it showed that the inner film was never taken off and that's why my phone was overly hot. And when I dropped it, I guess the two pieces of the screen separated because of the overheating. Screen was replaced with the proper one. Since this was a refurbished phone that I bought on Amazon, they used the wrong one. I felt that it was a reasonable price and was advised to contact Amazon and let them know what happened and they actually refunded me $128. My phone is working perfectly and I really appreciate the honesty and the help that I received. That's when they informed me that the phone was still attached to a payment plan on someone else's account. At the same time I took a phone for repair. They broke the screen, tore up the battery, and damaged some connectors inside. I walked in with a working phone and walked out with my phone In pieces. Thankfully I found a shop that was able to fix all of the damage and get my phone working $305 later. I told the worker SAL about what happened and his response was "I thought my tech knew how to fix phones". I told him what's done is done reimburse me for the damage that was done by the shop. He text me they would Zelle me the refund for the damage. They never send the refund so now I have to waste my time taking him to small claims. It's honestly not worth my time but it's about the principle of saying something will be done and then not doing it. I have the text where he acknowledges damaging it. He says he will get it paid for and he never did so wha was going to be $305 and everyone walks away fine now gets dragged out and fees get added to the small claim. Once I get paid the amount owed to me I will remove this review and go on my merry way.
