I called Mower Doctor after my riding mower died recently and talked to a nice lady who set up a appointment with a 12-2pm window. a little before 1pm the tech arrived and I met him in my garage and his name was Liam and quickly diagnosed my problem and installed me a new battery and sharpened my blade and was done in less then a hour! He also checked entire mower for other issues.. He explained and showed me I needed a new drive belt which he didn't have so he is going to order one and return to install. I called Jason after my lawn tractor wouldn't start. He called me right back! We made arrangements for him to drop by the next day to diagnose the problem. HE SHOWED UP ON TIME! Within minutes he said I needed a new fuel pump, but he would have to haul the John Deere back to his shop in Livonia. He gave me a fair estimate and everything came in UNDER BUDGET! Got our snow blower "repaired" mid-October with a 30-day guarantee. Good luck testing a snow blower in the cold in that time window. Mid December the issue of not starting is alive and well with the Mower "Doctor" ready to come and fix it at their going rate. Not happy. read more

I was victimized by the Mower doctor. He came out to my house because I had a complaint that my riding lawn mower wouldn't start. He charged me the $150 to come out to the house. As it turned out the positive cable on top of the battery was not hooked up . He hooked it up and started the motor. After that he went to check the electrical system of the mower-he drove it down to his truck and then drove it back. He then proceeded to plug my recharger on to the battery saying I would need to do that yet I heard a bang. He told me to keep the charger on my battery all night because it was probably worn down a bit and we need to be recharged. The next day I noticed that my plugs weren't working. I have two power Tower plugs on top of my workbench and neither one of them were working after him being there, and the plug that he had my charger plugged into was making a hissing sound I immediately unplug that and took the cables off of my battery which one of the clips, the plastic surrounding it, was all burned up. Trying to start my mower after that it- wouldn't turn over. I have no electric on that side of the garage whatsoever now. I did notice that he had unplugged both of the towers of electricity as if something that happened that went wrong. I took my "new" battery back up to the place I got it from and he said battery was no longer good. The mower doctor refuses to take responsibility for any of his actions. He could not admit he made a mistake and it has cost me a lot here on top of having to pay him $150 just to come out to the house ruing my new battery , my new charger and my electrical system in the garage. Just a warning to the women out there. Please, please do not call the call this guy to your house!!!!!!!! Oh, he did try to "SELL" me a new battery though, thoughtful, right? I can't believe this company is still in business. Next complaint will be going to the BBB. I'll be Consulting with my lawyer to see what legal rights I have in this matter. So sad to see if there are still people out there like that running a business, taking advantage of women who ordinarily wouldn't know any better. Bad business!! read more

My snow blower wouldn't start for the first major snowfall of the winter season and I couldn't find anyone to repair it within 2-3 weeks. Called the Mower Doctor and he gave me 1 week timing. It was better than the rest, but I was still worried because there was a pending snowfall in the next few days and with my bad back, my wife would be the one doing the shoveling. The Mower Doctor gave me a call later that night and said he was available the next morning to complete the repair! Absolutely phenomenal service with great pricing and genuine care!
