Their Vietnamese iced coffee and anything dragonfruit or taro here are my favorites. The flavor of the tea is good and the size of the the cup (beverage itself) is very fair for its price. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like that there are more than a few tables and the space isn't as cramped as it's sister location on the opposite end of Bellaire Blvd.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There are also a few mini claw arcade machines inside to test your claw game. I been at this location more often than their Chinatown location as it's closer for me and less busy. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Space is well lit, clean, and lots of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I usually get the Hawaiian Fruit Green Tea which is super refreshing and comes with large chunks of fruit inside the drinks. Along with the Thai Tea or Taro Stormy but I definitely recommend adjusting the sweetness level. As it can be really sweet. Drinks in pretty big cups and keep in mind they only take card. My mom and I come here regularly. When the place first opened they made drinks correctly. The new staff makes the drinks however they want. We asked for Thai tea stormy add Oreos that's our usual. Never had any issues until the new staff arrived. Sometimes they will make it with Oreos and sometimes they will forget all together and then throw it on top. This time I had to ask them to remake it 3xs and still they got it wrong and looked at me crazy.. the original staff needs to come back and help out. This is my 3rd time coming to this location. The first time it was for their grand opening. I understand that the lines are going to be long but it was so crowded that I had to leave because there were no parking spots. I came back for the 2nd and 3rd time and it wasn't busy which was good. The inside is modern and very clean. I usually order my usual which is the Hawaiian fruit green tea. This is my go to drink and I've had it about 200 times. It's refreshing for a hot day & the tea flavor is strong. The other drinks I've ordered were the Thai milk tea, dragon fruit mango green tea, taro stormy & mango fruit tea. The Thai milk tea was very good, well balanced in sweetness and tea flavor, it was a textbook made drink. The dragon fruit mango green tea was alright, the dragon fruit was overpowering the tea flavor and I didn't taste any mango in that drink. Taro stormy was fairly decent, it was creamy but it was too thick so you basically have to use a spoon to enjoy this drink. The mango fruit tea was refreshing but a little weak in terms of tea flavor, the drink was doable. Overall, it was a decent experience. The service was exceptional and the place was bright and clean. This area of Chinatown is not too crowded so I hope they will still have a lot of traffic coming through. I say that because there is already an R & B 4 miles from here. It would've been a better idea if they opened one in Katy Chinatown but that's just my input. Will I come back? Yes. read more

R & B Tea, a new location for this chain of boba shop. More closer to Alief proper. I believe is the same owner as the one in Chinatown. Since the social media use the same dancing boba girls. To me, the quality is the same it's less crowded for now. So it's easy to find a parking spot here. The drinks are all good and the texture of the boba is the best in town. read more

I've been here a few times and liked it every time I went. However, this time was the exception. It was horrible! The tea for my Hawaiian green tea tasted totally off. The tea tasted old and it had a sour taste to it. Even my neice's strawberry matcha latte was off too. The presentation did not look like the images. Also, she said it is very thick like chè. My daughter's mango green tea tasted off too. The tea doesn't taste right and there was way too much syrup in this one. This was not 5 stars quality at all! I was hoping the quality was going to consistently stay the same as the one off of Bellaire and beltway 8. Sadly, this time it was totally off. I'm pretty disappointed because this location is closer to our house and we were very happy with it the last few times we had gone here. I was going here for convenience since it tasted the same as the one we normally go to. I will give it another chance another time. Hope the owners are reading this and will fix these issues and make it taste like the Chinatown location. If it tastes this bad again, I won't be coming back to this location again. I wasn't going to come back, but my husband said I should tell you guys and hope they will fix this issue.
