This looks like just a Thai tea stormy no Oreos added
    Jessica A.

My mom and I come here regularly. When the place first opened they made drinks correctly. The new staff makes the drinks however they want. We asked for Thai tea stormy add Oreos that's our usual. Never had any issues until the new staff arrived. Sometimes they will make it with Oreos and sometimes they will forget all together and then throw it on top. This time I had to ask them to remake it 3xs and still they got it wrong and looked at me crazy.. the original staff needs to come back and help out. They had the music loud so maybe that's why it was hard for them to hear. But still

I freaking love r&b, I come religiously. I love to come get my giant Hawaiian fruit tea, I love the big cup filled with watermelon and orange yummmm! They have a big variety of tea and drinks w milk and purely tea. Really great when you're feeling like getting something different from your usual.

I Love Love Love this place. I frequent this place for Strawberry Green Tea with Lychee and Aloe. The drinks are always refreshing.

This was a great place to get a refreshing treat. I got the taro boba and when they forgot the boba they remade it and got to keep the other. It was nice to surprise to bring a sweet surprise to someone else. The claw machines were a cute touch and it was nice vibe there. Friendly staff and great location.

This is a quick and convenient spot for tea lovers! They offer an impressive range of tea options to satisfy any craving. Some of my personal favorites include their Matcha Milk Tea with egg pudding, which has a rich, earthy flavor with a creamy texture, and the Jasmine Milk Tea with boba, which is perfectly floral and sweet. If you're in the mood for something refreshing, the Hawaiian Fruit Tea hits the spot with its tropical flair in a light green tea base. While I found the herbal tea to be just okay, R&B Tea more than makes up for it with their recent Vietnamese coffee selection. The Viet coffee with egg foam is an absolute slam dunk--robust, smooth, and balanced with the velvety richness of the egg foam. I highly recommend trying it! The location has friendly staff and is fairly clean. They're currently offering 10% off if you follow them on IG!

Ads on Instagram always suggest that ABG be working, but in reality you can't spot any during your visit. Even with the false advertising for my boys, the drinks alway hits for me and the service is pretty quick. The tea shop has a fair amount of seats and table great for studying or friends and family to hang during the visit.

This is my 3rd time coming to this location. The first time it was for their grand opening. I understand that the lines are going to be long but it was so crowded that I had to leave because there were no parking spots. I came back for the 2nd and 3rd time and it wasn't busy which was good. The inside is modern and very clean. I usually order my usual which is the Hawaiian fruit green tea. This is my go to drink and I've had it about 200 times. It's refreshing for a hot day & the tea flavor is strong. The other drinks I've ordered were the Thai milk tea, dragon fruit mango green tea, taro stormy & mango fruit tea. The Thai milk tea was very good, well balanced in sweetness and tea flavor, it was a textbook made drink. The dragon fruit mango green tea was alright, the dragon fruit was overpowering the tea flavor and I didn't taste any mango in that drink. Taro stormy was fairly decent, it was creamy but it was too thick so you basically have to use a spoon to enjoy this drink. The mango fruit tea was refreshing but a little weak in terms of tea flavor, the drink was doable. Overall, it was a decent experience. The service was exceptional and the place was bright and clean. This area of Chinatown is not too crowded so I hope they will still have a lot of traffic coming through. I say that because there is already an R & B 4 miles from here. It would've been a better idea if they opened one in Katy Chinatown but that's just my input. Will I come back? Yes.

R & B Tea, a new location for this chain of boba shop. More closer to Alief proper. I believe is the same owner as the one in Chinatown. Since the social media use the same dancing boba girls. To me, the quality is the same it's less crowded for now. So it's easy to find a parking spot here. The drinks are all good and the texture of the boba is the best in town.

They have many options on their menu. Most drink will be around $5-6, not including topping. Drinks were a little bit too sweet for me. I do recommend y'all go with 50-75% sweet. The store is well decorated. Staffs were super friendly and attentive.

This was my first time at this R&B Tea location and I'll have to say that it was very nice. Everything is clean and seems like a great place to hang out. Everyone working was so nice and greeted us when we walked in. I got to try their promotional drinks, the egg coffee and the hazelnut milk tea. I got half sugar for both and thought it was balanced. I loved the egg foam on top, they did a great job!

Luckily, there was the Vietnamese spot nearby called ULike Tea that was still open. It really felt like being transported back to Vietnam. They have those table and stools outside with a lot of people lounging with street snacks. Their viet coffee was only about $5 and I got the sea salt version. It had nice flavor, coffee was smooth with a hint of bitterness. It is an unassuming place, yet it was popping at this time. I was pretty impressed with my coffee

Ulike? Why yes, I do…read more The Bellaire Asiatown location of Ulike Tea chain is vastly different from its OG northern counterpart. It's not nearly as pretty, far less English friendly, and open super late (#1). While the drinks are average compared to other Viet-owned milk tea spots, it would be considered quite good for places open past 10pm. Post-dinner option? Absolutely. The interior is smallish, but they've managed to cram a good number of seats both in and outside. These are interesting because they remind me of something I've seen in Southeast Asia, namely the fact of furniture is condensed and also at a height that makes it noticeably different from what we would see around most cafes. Late at night, one can always find a decent crowd of young folks drinking and eating just outside the cafe. The wall mural is well done and is something like I would feel like I would see in Vietnam. The claw machines are simply a sign of the times. The drinks are someone average across the board with the exception of their coffee selection. The sea salt coffee as well as the regular cap phe sua da Viet coffee, are quite good. Ube coffee is a tad on the sweet side and the coconut coffee is only recommended for folks who really love coconut. (#2) Milk tea is fine overall but I don't feel necessarily better than the dedicated specialty spots. Fruit-Based teas such as longan is much more refreshing. Surprisingly where I think they shine is the food. The series of bites make for excellent late night snacks. Their coconut Viet style pudding is very tasty, the crispy rice (com chay cha bong) has a nice crunch, the grilled rice rolls (banh trang cuon chien) are good when fresh, stir fried corn (bap xao), and the fried combo (lac muoi tom) is always a hit. Skip the fried dumplings and popcorn chicken. Customer service is generally good. English speakers won't struggle too much, especially since the menu is a picture menu. They accept credit cards and there's plenty of parking almost always. __________ (#1) Midnight every night. (#2) Not the essence, but actual coconut bits.

But then I came back the next day to get the Banana Matcha Latte and it was amazing. It tastes really fresh and just the right amount of banana + matcha to complement each other. I will say (and maybe it's a personal thing) that it was a little thicker than I would have liked but I finished my drink so fast. I wasn't able to grab a drink before it started mixing. The ambiance and service are also quite nice. I was able to get some work done here and there are a good amount of tables for either chatting or getting work done. I went on a Thurs and Fri morning and the music was at a good volume though does get a little loud at times. Sometimes the staff will bring you your drink which I thought was nice of them. Houston's Vietnamese coffee scene is incredibly strong, but not all cups are created equal. What I loved about this one was how rich, bold, and deeply coffee-forward it was without ever tasting burnt or bitter. The coffee had that intense Vietnamese coffee flavor you want while remaining smooth and balanced from start to finish. Paired with the pandan, it was a perfect combination. The pandan added subtle vanilla-like and floral notes along with just the right amount of sweetness. Best of all, it was not overly sweet, which is where a lot of specialty coffee drinks miss the mark for me. The flavors complemented each other beautifully without either one overpowering the other. That said, this place is chaotic. If you're in a rush, I probably would not recommend it. My coffee took about 20 minutes, and the operation felt busy and hectic. Honestly, though, it was worth the wait to try authentic, high-quality Vietnamese coffee in Houston. If pandan is not your thing, don't worry. They have a huge menu with plenty of other coffee and drink options to choose from. For coffee lovers, this is the kind of place worth seeking out. Houston continues to impress me with its Vietnamese food and coffee scene, and this spot is another reason why.

So glad to hear that one recently opened up in Houston. Would LOVE to take my cousins here one day…read more Environment/Atmosphere - Super crowded when we got here, but the lines moved fast, and there was a kiosk to self-order if you didn't want to wait in line for the cashier. One of my favorite things was how fragrant the space smelled while I waited for my boba. You could tell there was an exceptional tea aroma lingering despite all the cream and sweetness. The place was exceptionally clean for being so busy, and the workers consistently cleaned as they made the drinks, so you knew you could trust the sanitation here. Drink Design - I have to make a separate comment on how CUTE these drinks were. I loved the intentional sticker placement over the lips and the little carrying handle. You could tell they went the extra mile to make these drinks not just flavorful, but an experience in and of themselves. Even their receipt paper felt luxurious. That sounds ridiculous to point out, but the thought behind every aspect of this place is impeccable. High Mountain Pouchong Tea w. Lemon Juice & Mousse (Creamy Lemon Tart) - After all the sugar I had today, this lemony drink hit the spot with its perfect tartness. The cream had bits of lemon zest in it, adding to the aroma. I tried to adjust the sweetness when I ordered and was told it had a built-in sweetness, but if I found it too sweet, they would happily switch it out for another drink. I felt like I was dealing with Amazon's generous return policy--and luckily, the drink was perfect, so no return was needed! Creamy Mango Tart - Literally like the Lemon Tart, but mango. I loved this just as much and really enjoyed the refreshing flavors of BOTH tarts. Instantly a fan favorite. Dong Ding Oolong Tea w. Fresh Milk - Very mild and creamy, almost like a mellow latte. Not my favorite because it was a bit too creamy after everything else I had today. Still, I loved the tea profile and can absolutely see why others would love it. Overall, I love, love, LOVE this place. 1000/10. From the experience to the quality and intentionality behind every little detail, I couldn't be happier with my visit. I never thought I'd ever say that a drink was so Instagram-worthy, but these drinks were beautiful--like models of the boba world. Would go back in a heartbeat.
