I like their milk foam series but I wish they have a lactose free option. The jasmine milk foam tea is my favorite at feng cha

I've been to this Feng Cha location a few times. This location is in Dun Huang Plaza in Chinatown. The store is nice and clean, and the cashiers are always nice. I forgot to take photos of the menus, but they have a wide selection of teas, coffees, fruity drinks, toppings, and desserts. There is only one size option for the drinks, and like other boba places, you can customize the amount of ice or sugar you want for your drink. My favorite is the Creme Brulee Dirty Boba. I always get it with less ice and less sugar. Although Feng Cha isn't my go-to choice for boba, the drinks are always consistent in terms of flavors, so it's definitely worth a try if you've never been here before.

Feng Cha is always a nice place that I'd like to visit. They have some unique teas. You can do the order on the machine so don't be afraid of not knowing the names. The paintings on the walls are beautiful.

Highlight: Jasmine Green Tea ($4.25) with Sea Salt Milk Foam ($1.00) The sea salt milk foam was creamy, smooth and tasty. The jasmine tea had a good floral tea flavor and was very refreshing overall. Perfect ice-to-drink ratio and overall a great price. Hospitality: Friendly staff. Honorable Mention: Decent amount of booth and chair seating. Interior had beautiful murals!

After patronizing Mein recently, I felt inspired to revisit Dun Huang Plaza again to check out the Chinatown location of Feng Cha. The last time I visited Dun Huang was over two years ago to get ice cream at Aqua S, the cool Australian ice cream spot which is now closed. And given the fact Ding Tea closed quite some time ago at a nearby shopping/restaurant center, I figured it's time to find a new place to get bubble tea or coffee drinks. With the help of the guy working the counter, I decided on a Kiwi Basil Green Tea sweetened at a level of 75 percent, adding brown sugar boba. I really enjoyed this drink, and it was fun spooning out the last bits of kiwi at the bottom of the cup. I found the decor on the inside to be cool. It was still reflective of Halloween, with artsy cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. One important point to be made about this particular Feng Cha location: it tends to get really, really busy. Looking at this Feng Cha outpost from my car, I could tell this has to be one of the most popular businesses at Dun Huang Plaza. Lots of people came and went. It kind of makes one feel sorry for the folks at Gong Cha a few doors down because Feng Cha seemed to be getting all the business at the back end of the plaza. Once inside, it kind of reminds me of waiting for a flight at an airport...there were so many people inside! Check it out.

After dinner nearby, my friend was craving boba, so we explored the many bubble tea options in Dun Huang Plaza. He chose Feng Cha, and I realized I had visited this spot a few years ago. I ordered a peach oolong tea $5.25 with milk foam and crystal boba, at 50% sweetness while he got the creme brulee dirty boba. Our drinks were prepared quickly and both were delicious and refreshing. They also offer a loyalty program through the Feng Cha app, which is a nice bonus for frequent visitors. Plenty of parking in the entire plaza. Note that there are at least 10 other boba tea houses within 0.1 mile vicinity. Yes, 0.1 mile!

My friends and I came here for an after dinner drink. The citrus lord was really good and they used real fruits. We also got the dirty chai. It had a nice chai/cinnamon after taste. There are lots of clean table and chairs. The place is also decorated for Halloween! Theres also a corner to borrow some games to hang with friends or study here. There are also outlets next to the benches so you can bring your laptop here to work/study. The staff is nice but soft spoken. It was hard to hear them when they call out our drinks. So if you can't hear them calling out numbers, be sure to go to the corner to ask every once in a while. Free parking out front and there are garages. I personally prefer to park in the open.

The drink was a great deal at just $5.75 total! Without the sea salt foam, it would've only been $4.75. The tea itself was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness, and the sea salt foam added a really nice taste. I would definitely come back for more! The service was fast, I got my drink within 5 minutes. There was an ample amount of seating in the establishment.

Fantastic milk tea shop with desserts and fair prices. Taro milk tea is one of our faves in the city. Highlights include the taro milk tea and black milk tea, and we really enjoyed the oreo cheese souffle cake. Line moves pretty quickly and the staff is friendly. Vibe is chill and they have good board games too like Carcassonne.

I got the thai milk tea with 50% sugar and light ice! It tastes pretty good but they put regular ice but it doesn't really matter too much. It was very quick though they were able to make it in less than 4 minutes! It's pretty quiet here too so overall if you're looking for a quick drink and a good spot to study/do work then Fengcha is a good go-to!

I only come to Feng Cha for one drink and that is the kiwi basil green tea. It has a very generous amount of kiwi puree which I appreciate and it's not too sweet either. I love any drink that has basil seeds in it so that's bonus points from me. The cups are also quite large so you get a bang for your buck. I've tried other milk teas on the menu and none of them impressed me so I just stick with my usual. They make their drinks super quick by the way!

Feng Cha is now my new favorite boba place in Houston. R&B across the street is great, but this is better. When I pulled up into the plaza my intention was to actually hit up Gong Cha just a couple doors down based on lots of online food recs and research, but I made a heat of the moment pivot over to Feng Cha based on the vibes. Feng Cha was absolutely popping off in business and Gong Cha had a few people, but dead in comparison, so I followed the crowd. Absolutely no regrets. I ordered their creme brulee dirty boba (their version of a brown sugar boba), less ice, 25% sweet. I basically inhaled it. It was soooo good that I went back in and ordered a second one to deliver to my friend to try, her eyes lit up when she tried it. A week later my workplace was ordering boba, I recommended Feng Cha (Midtown). The consistency between locations is there as well making it super convenient, kind of a dangerous recipe for anyone on a diet or who has limited self control like me :D 10/10 would recommend.

The ambiance is loud and lively because of music and conversations. The service is excellent. I ordered Jasmine Green Apple Tea. It was super sour. I asked for more sugar and also more syrup which did not reduce the sourness. Then, they offered to make another drink which was Summer Melon which is delicious. The lounge like ambiance, along with their diner-like menu, is a major selling point for folks and has been one of the reasons for their popularity over the better part of the last two decades. It is a bit trendy and plays music that you would think of and in a Miami lounge or a pretentious New York Club. While service is not their strong suit, the clean bathrooms, spacious seating, and semi-open kitchen makes up for some 'tudes from the staff. The menu is most definitely Asian, but blends from a predominantly Chinese menu and featuring various Taiwanese, Korean, Japanese items. The latter includes sushi, which is likely one of the only spots in the neighborhood that still has it after midnight. They have bluefin tuna and sea urchin, in which Cafe 101 is one of the only late night spots to offer it. Their beef chow fun is nice and greasy, but filled with excessive onions, bean sprouts, and various other veggies that almost take away from the noodles and beef (which was nicely cooked). Their shrimp and egg came in a nice set, which was a good surprise and surprisingly well executed. This is also a spot for Japanese curry, and even though it's not the best, it most certainly does the job. Taiwanese popcorn chicken is on point, cumin lamb is unsurprisingly spicy, and Singapore chow mai fun has a tinge of solid wok hei. (#1) I'm genuinely not a fan of their soups and think the sushi rolls are not their best work. While they also have milk, tea options, unless one is desperate, I would also steer clear of. Parking in the early evening can be an issue at Don Huang Plaza, but after 11pm, the parking options should be abundant. I would consider coming here in a larger group, especially with late night owls. ___________ (#1) Wok's essence (鑊氣)

I tried the Biscoff Tiramisu-- while they could work on their presentation (the filling looked messy and slapped on), the taste was quite nice! Sweet, creamy, and the mascarpone filling was light and not too heavy despite being sweet and indulgent. And if I'm with my boyfriend, he always spoils me and allows me to get 2 (one for the next day, of course)! One of my favorites is the Biscoff Banana Pudding Matcha. It's basically a dessert and a pick-me-up in one, so obviously I'm going to support that kind of decision-making. It's creamy, sweet, and with the crunchy textures, it's just such a fun combination. The other thing I am OBSESSED with here is the croffles! Easily one of the best I've ever had. They're super fresh, buttery, and have the perfect texture. But honestly, the cream they put on top is what really gets me. It's not overly sweet or super heavy, which I appreciate because I would like to enjoy my dessert without downing a whole glass of water... or maybe... a matcha? lol My boyfriend and I like coming here every now and then and sharing a croffle (because apparently we are capable of sharing things), and we love the indoor and outdoor seating areas too. It's such a cute little spot to hang out, grab a drink, eat something sweet, and just chill. Now for the one downside: the parking. If you know, you know. The parking situation is... less than ideal, especially considering this is Bellaire. But honestly, if you're coming here to grab a drink, eat, play on the claw arcade, and get a dessert, I'd say it's worth surviving the parking chaos. Pro tip: CALL AHEAD AND ASK IF THEY STILL HAVE CROFFLES! I learned this lesson the hard way. One time, I brought a large group of friends here after dinner specifically so everyone could try the croffles... only for us to find out they had just run out. SAD! You can imagine my devastation after hyping them up. They actually felt really bad and told us that we could call ahead next time to check if they still had any available, which I thought was incredibly nice of them. So now I'm passing that wisdom along because I refuse to let anyone else experience the heartbreak of arriving croffle-less. Overall, such a cute spot with great matcha, delicious croffles, and a fun little atmosphere. Just prepare yourself mentally for the parking situation and CALL AHEAD FOR THE CROFFLES!!!

But when I'm in town I go out of my way to "eat all the things" to take advantage of being near the Vietnamese community. I decided on trying Tea Top over other -- seemingly indistinguishable boba shops -- simply because this shop participates in the Dining Rewards Program, which allows me to earn airline miles per dollar in addition to my standard credit card points per dollar. I will say, the tea here is very good. They actually sell tea, rather than just sugar water. You can taste it. And for that, I appreciate this place. I tried their Alpine Green Tea with boba. It was good. I came back a second time to try their Wintermelon Alpine Green Milk Tea and thought it was even better! Quality drinks and I can earn additional airline miles per order? I'll be coming back. I also like that their in-store rewards program keys to your credit card so it recognizes your account and you can instantly apply small discounts to future orders every time, or save up your points to get a buck or two off an order when you feel like it.

Stopping by Gong Cha for a cold drink in a hot summer day is very refreshing…read more The barista was very patience with me while I read through their menu. They have so many varieties of teas and drinks on the menu. The tea they use is fresh, mix with citrus adds another layer of vibrant flavor. If you don't want tea, you can just order fruit drinks. Free wifi, there was a couple of 10-11 people having a meeting/discussion, so it is nice place to hangout.

Plenty of bubble tea places to choose from in Bellaire. Out go to place is Gong Cha. My brother…read morefirst introduced me to Gong Cha back in CA. I'm glad they opened in Houston as well. We usually drop by after dinner. My go to drink is the Earl grey milk tea with 3Js (3Js for short). It comes with pudding jelly, grass jelly and black pearls. Why pay for extra for each topping if you can get a drink that comes with it. They have 2 sizes (regular or Large). You can also set the sugar level from 0 to 100 (70% is regular) and ice level (full, less or no ice). I usually have Large with 50% sugar and less ice. My wife likes the Lychee Oolong with black pearls. You will just need to get and find what tickles your taste buds. They have a rewards program if you are willing to share your mobile number that you enter when you place your order. Place is clean and was renovated during Covid. Tables and chairs are on both sides of the room. Games are gone now after Covid. Staff is pretty efficient. It doesn't take long to get your order. They will call out your number when order is ready.
