I had Precision come out to take out three sago palms to protect my dog. Sago palms are very toxic…read moreto dogs, and can even be fatal if not treated immediately. I specifically mentioned this more than once. Yesterday early morning, I rushed my dog to a veterinary emergency room because she had ingested sago palm seeds (something I discovered after her eighth time vomiting and drooling uncontrollably). After her 48-hour care, I now have a medical bill costing $2,400. My dog, luckily, is doing well so far. If the seed in the attached picture had been deep in the ground, I would be more forgiving. But, this seed was near the top. The crew tossed some dirt and rocks over it and called it a day. And unfortunately for my dog, potentially signed her death warrant. I'll have to go out and purchase a shovel, so I can dig around to make sure nothing is left behind. I leave them with one star, because despite all of this, they were kind and easy to work with. Called the Woodsmen to clean it up. Let me tell you these guys are on the ball! They came out fast, gave me a quote (which is exactly what I paid and no more) arrived for the job, and left not even a speck of mess behind them. In fact, they even cut and stacked me some wood for the fire pit! The tech said he was "tcob". Taking care of business. And believe me he was RIGHT! We hired Crazy Aaron to rip out a very large area of primrose jasmine bushes that had been growing…read moreunmaintained for years prior to when we moved in. It was actually quite a large job duke to the sheer volume of bushes which took up about 900 square feet of land on the hill between our house and the street. To us, it was a bit of an eyesore because it had grown so out of hand. To even trim/maintain it, our regular lawn service company said it would cost at least a couple hundred dollars because of the sheer size of it all. Finally, we decided to just go through with doing it right and clearing out the majority of the bushes to reclaim a very large chunk of our side yard. Aaron was one of three people that we got bids from. His bid landed in the middle to do all the the bush removal and dirt/sod replacement, but I liked that he was also a licensed irrigator so I didn't have to worry about coordinating this work with separate sprinkler company for the new watering zone that would be required for the newly laid sod. Prior to laying the sod, he double-checked with us to make sure we were happy with the line of bushes that remained so that we'd be confident in the finished product. He also fixed a leak that we'd had in one of our old sprinkler zones and did a check of the sprinkler system to make sure it was in total working order. The job was completed within a week after I hired him, and I've got to say, it looks better than I envisioned it. Our neighbors have also told us how impressed they were with the work. The best part is we've got our so much more usable yard now, and we can actually see the bottom of the trunks of the oak trees that had been growing in the middle of those bushes. All in all, I have no complaints and am extremely happy we went with Crazy Aaron to do this job.

We have 2 porta potties on the property, but instead of asking for a key he decided to just go behind a container. We are a restaurant so to have someone pee in the yard is completely disgusting and unacceptable. We are on a very busy intersection with a house behind the container. I called him, left a voice mail. I Sent him an email. He has never replied to either. I will never use him. And I will tell all my friends not to as well.

Their quote (with a large amount of rocks) was better than a quote with just grass and their sprinkler redo price was almost $1000 cheaper. They also completed the work while it was raining and had leftover grass that they laid in my neighbors yard (aside from the area we fixed bc the pool company destroyed their grass and sprinklers) at no extra charge. My grass never looked terribly patchy, so they must have high standards of what trash will lay and how they lay it. I highly recommend them.

Nick was always prompt as well as very honest when talking through all my options. I used CountryScapes for a new irrigation system, masonry, and landscaping. Roberto did an absolute phenomenal job in the masonry work which was I was most concerned with. My wife was concerned with everything matching the house colors and it did perfectly! They were even able to use the leftover house brick from when our house was built!! They put all new mulch and planted new plants in our front flowerbed which looks great. I also asked them to install new Zoysa sod in front yard due to the challenges that we've had with shade from our big bnb oak trees.
