We had a pool put in this spring. My yard and my neighbors yard were disaster areas. I saw their reviews, gave them a call and Aaron completely got what I was going for. He offered suggestions and ideas as well. I just wanted simple, low maintenance with rocks, and just enough grass for my dog. Their quote (with a large amount of rocks) was better than a quote with just grass and their sprinkler redo price was almost $1000 cheaper. They also completed the work while it was raining and had leftover grass that they laid in my neighbors yard (aside from the area we fixed bc the pool company destroyed their grass and sprinklers) at no extra charge. My grass never looked terribly patchy, so they must have high standards of what trash will lay and how they lay it. I highly recommend them. read more

I don't write very many reviews but there was no way that I was going miss out doing this one. Jared and Nick were fantastic. Jared working with me on budget and the scheduling of all the work that needed to get done. Nick was the person that I worked with directly during the whole process. Nick was always prompt as well as very honest when talking through all my options. I used CountryScapes for a new irrigation system, masonry, and landscaping. Roberto did an absolute phenomenal job in the masonry work which was I was most concerned with. My wife was concerned with everything matching the house colors and it did perfectly! They were even able to use the leftover house brick from when our house was built!! They put all new mulch and planted new plants in our front flowerbed which looks great. I also asked them to install new Zoysa sod in front yard due to the challenges that we've had with shade from our big bnb oak trees. The sod looks amazing and have recieved tons of compliments from friends and neighbors. CountryScapes Irrigation recently completed a project on my home. This was a residential project to install a soaker hose system around the home's perimeter, to do automated foundation watering. The project came in at a really good bid, and the work was done quickly and efficiently. The project was also done with future-proofing in mind, so I am confident it will be long-lasting and up-gradable if needed. The team was very responsive to a couple of small issues I had after the initial install, and fixed them quickly! I'm not sure what's going on with this company. We originally had a good experience with them installing an irrigation system but we had a sprinkler head fail and have been trying to get in touch with them for the repair. My calls go straight to voicemail and they haven't been returned for the last two months. If this company is out of business, they need to change their message and business profiles to indicate that. I am frustrated though because our system is still under warranty and they should honor that. read more

I needed to replace a landscape drainage pipe in my yard that had some tree roots blocking it. After some research, I contacted several companies and requested estimates and I eventually selected CountryScapes as their labor costs were reasonable. Unfortunately, this job did not go as well as I had hoped as there were a number of fundamental design and implementation errors made that caused several re-works. This was also exacerbated by less than adequate communication from the owner, Aaron. In the end, I had to complete the work myself. However, in light of this, CountryScapes reimbursed me in full and - from the perspective of running a business in an ethical manner - this is commendable. read more

They re-did my irrigation system after we put our pool in. They did a fantastic job replacing the system and placing sod in the front and back. They installed both drip and water saving sprinklers systems throughout our back yard. They must have had a crew of 7 people and got it all done in a day for just under 1/2 acre. There price was very competitive and they have been very responsive whenever we have called them. In fact, we got a rock in the system and they repaired or at no cost since it was still under warranty. I highly recommend this business. read more

I don't know if this business is still operating! I do know that the owner doesn't respond my phone calls! I had an irrigation system installed a couple of years ago that needs servicing. My contract says that I have a 3 year warranty. Well, a warranty is only as good as the company issuing it! I paid $3,000.00 for the work and will probably have to pay another company more money to fix some things. My system is less than 3 years old! Country Scapes was at my house on a Tuesday evening and finished installing my entire front and backyard sprinkler system by Wednesday afternoon. Jared Halbert (the owner) is friendly, knowledgable, and very reasonably priced. The workers were quick and picked up after themselves nicely once they were finished. Once the installation was complete, Jared came out and explained how to operate the panel, we went over each zone in the yard, what types of sprinkler heads were installed, where the main shut off valve is, etc. He's definitely a professional and at no time did I feel pressured to use his service of feel obligated to do anything that I didn't want to do. We researched who had great reviews on Yelp and contacted the top 3 companies. All 3 came out and gave us a written estimate for irrigating our yard. The company we eventually picked to do the job was Country Scapes Irrigation. They were not the cheapest or most expensive quote we received. They were priced mid range. The reasons we went with them was they had the highest rating for job satisfaction, the better business bureau gives them an "a" rating, they insisted on completing the job before receiving any money from us....we had to be completely satisfied with the job they did for us.....we were! The other 2 companies wanted half of the cost of the job up front. Cole was the young man that gave us the written estimate and when the job was done, walked us through how the 9 zone watering system worked. We have a 3 year warranty on our system. His work crew did the job in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. We would definitely recommend this company to others. read more

The price came in well below what I thought it would be. I haven't had it installed yet but will update when I do. At our home one of our zones quit working( came with the house countryscapes didn't install it.) They sent out a tech the same day! This guy worked his butt off. It's a new house to us and I didn't know where any of the service boxes where. It must have been 104 degrees outside and he was digging and running new wires and more digging. This was done in a timely and professional manner. We honestly feel the appearance of our yard is better than before this incident. Though we asked for nothing additional from Countryscapes, Jared stepped up to the plate and offered to cover the water bill necessary to establish the new sod, this has also been taken care of. We were presented with a gift card for our family to a favorite restaurant. Accidents do happen, and ultimately Countryscapes owned up to their responsibilities, and very fairly compensated us. read more

Wow! What a great experience! When I began the process of looking for an irrigation company to install a new sprinkler system, I had no idea where to begin. I found CountryScapes Irrigation through a site, servicemagic.com. I spoke with several companies and found myself always comparing what I was being told to what Brett told me. To me, that meant this was the right fit. Plus, my dogs adored him... He took the time to go over all the ins and outs and equipment that would be used for my installation. Their price was right in my sweet spot of what I wanted to spend. Let's face it, you don't want to go with the cheapest or the most expensive. I had a lot of questions and Brett was a true professional in answering all of them. He is an easy going guy and by the end of the process, I felt like we were friends, not customer and contractor. I had been working on building beds in my backyard for some time and was gradually buying dirt. Brett even had his staff fill all my beds for me. I'm a big fan of Countryscapes! They were the fourth irrigation company to visit my house, had the lowest rates, and were the only one that would start repairs immediately. All breaks in the line were fixed, a backflow valve was installed, and now my system works flawlessly and is up to city code. It only took about 3 total hours of labor for a project that would have taken me more than 10 times that long. I can't recall the technician's name but apparently he under-quoted me drastically for a particular expensive part (like 80% too low) and the company stood by his quote. The owner of Countrscapes, Jared, contacted me and is going to take care of all of my sprinkler system issues. The no-shows back in 2012 were apparently due to one employee who is no longer employed there. He was very sincere and earnest in discussing these matters with me. He was also interested in seeing this from my viewpoint as a customer and consumer. I appreciate the time he took to understand all that happened and his interest in making things right. He also remembered exactly who I was. From 4 years ago! He either has a great memory or he takes very good notes. He also talked to me about some of the employee related customer service training going on over at Countryscapes. It sounds like they are on the right track. He gave my irrigation system a little TLC (for minor issues that happen over time, for example, crooked/leaky heads and heads that wouldn't pop up when they should) and he was on his way. We needed some repairs on some sprinklers and haven't had the best service with other companies in the past so were reluctant at first, but hoped for the best. Amazing service, great work, and a price you can't beat. I built a house and they recommended Countryscapes if I wasn't going to sod the backyard. I got a few other quotes while waiting to hear back from them and their prices were insane. A few places wanted $2k for a plan, when I already knew what I wanted. This is for a 1600 sq ft back yard! When I heard back from Countryscapes their quote was about 40% lower than anyone else. This would normally seem to good to be true but they came recommended so I gave them a shot. Now my back yard is exactly what I want, and I saved thousands of dollars! I will say that their communication isn't always the best, their phone often goes straight to voicemail or the mailbox is full. They said they were working on getting it resolved. Basically that leaves email, which sometimes takes them a day or two to get back to you, but usually a response that day (or the next morning) is the norm. Sure I could take a star away for this, but with the quality of work they did at the price I got it done for, I'm more than happy and definitely recommend them. read more

If you want the short version, they will give you great service at a great price. If you want the long version, Brett and Jared will do whatever you need them to do in your yard to make you happy. I am somewhat particular and not very good at imagining how things will look until I see it. I had them change things in my landscaping a few times, involving moving a lot of rocks around and adding more grass and sprinkler heads at a later date. they handled it all with ease. We got irrigation and grass front and back, a rock mailbox built, a couple of shrubs, as well as landscape plants around the pool and a water feature. When we put in a pool two years ago, we got a couple of quotes to redo the sprinklers in our backyard and ultimately chose Countryscapes. Their price was very reasonable, they were super fast, and their staff was very professional. The work they did was a huge improvement on the system we previously had and we've been extremely happy with the results. Recently our water bill increased mysteriously, so I called Countryscapes so they could verify the issue was not with sprinkler system. They sent a tech out very quickly who checked out the whole system from top to bottom and made one minor adjustment and one minor repair. I will preface this by saying that I don't understand pricing models for irrigation system repair. But also, I shouldn't need to care. Thanks to the original installation done by the builder, I periodically run through the system to find broken heads. I found two that needed replacement. I am really good about fixing the system with the previous 2 dozen head replacements to date. The first head had a tree root pop it off and broke the pvc pipe. Then I found the other one probably broke too as it got run over. At this point, I spent a ridiculous amount of time digging, sawing, and fixing and it was time to get the pros in when I looked at the cost/benefit of doing it myself. I called Countryscapes and gave them the problems in detail and got a reasonable estimate. I did not appreciate their hard sell for running a test of the whole system. I know which heads are problematic and that they have the right nozzles. The irrigation technician fixed the root problem head. He worked on the other head. It just needed to be replaced, no pvc repair needed. I was a bit shocked that he was ok with the top of the head sitting two inches below ground level. He did get annoyed with the request to put a riser on it. In the end, the work is done. I suppose the real gripe is he swapped a brand new head for a 10+$ head. And the other head had a pressure valve in it for 20$. I know how much those cost at the wholesale level. The markup on that feels shady, especially since a new head was removed. The ultimate question is, "would you recommend them?". Meh. I probably would take my chances with another service company. If I wasn't pushed for the system check, I would give them another chance. read more

Jared and Brett are true pros. They helped us out of a HUGE mess. We had hired a service that turned out to be less than professional. Jared came in, redesigned the system so that it was in code, cleaned up my yard (which was in shambles) and replaced the grass that had been destroyed. They worked us into their schedule and finished the job quickly, before their original scheduled date! Not to mention, the price for the completion of the job and grass was LESS than the other company had quoted us! These guys are knowledgeable, hardworking and fun to talk to. Aaron and his team are absolutely wonderful! I had a bit of an odd landscaping job that I needed completed. Previous owner of the home had a dog run set up along one of the fences of the backyard, and laid about a 65 feet x 5 ft track of gravel along that fence (several inches deep!). The weight of the gravel pushing up against the bottom of the fence line was causing structural stress to fence panels and also rotting out the bottom of the pickets. I needed the gravel removed and hauled away. Aaron came out to give an estimate. He was on time and very polite, easy to work with! I got my estimate back promptly (within about 24 hours). When the crew came out to do the project work, they showed up on time and worked quickly and efficiently. The job was done cleanly and professionally! Great work clearing away the gravel, nice job on cleaning up the area and the fence line. They were nice enough to help fix some of the panels that had actually detached from posts (not in the job scope) and they also checked my irrigation system and made some adjustments to some of my sprinkler heads for better watering in the future. They had installed the sprinkler system across the street from me about a year ago and my neighbors were happy with them. From start to finish they were very professional. Aaron said they would remedy this and lay down more sod when they got more in. I just had a new lawn (Front and Back) as well as a drainage line installed by Matt/Robert and their crew. All I can say is that they did an excellent job and at a reasonable rate. They brought in around 7 yards of soil to correct my sloping issues, got the line dug for drainage and tied my rain gutters into the pipe, after that we put down about 5 pallets of grass. They accomplished this all in 1 day with no issues. Very professional crew who understood what needed to be done and did their work in a professional manner.
