I arrived on time for my 9:00 appointment. The barber was in the back office thus making me wait. When finally came out he stopped to BS with other employees. As I did feel like I was the focus of his morning, I left. Lesson, if you have to be late, apologize and get to work. My time is equally as important as yours. read more

R&L Barbershop is the real deal! Just got a fresh cut from Sabir and he absolutely snapped. Super clean fade, sharp lines--dude took his time and made sure everything was on point. You can tell he knows what he's doing and actually cares about the end result. And I showed him a picture for example on what I want, and he made sure I looked JUST LIKE the picture I showed. Came here today and I booked an appointment for 6:30pm, I was greeted by Russ and Leyle as I sat down they asked if I booked an appointment, I stated yes with confidence. I didn't realize they were closing at 6:00pm and last call for a haircut was at 5:30pm. I felt really bad because being new to the area and the hours on here said 8pm. Luckily Leyle said she was able to give me a haircut, and honor the appointment. As I sat down I told Leyle what I wanted and I must say she did an awesome job at cutting my hair. She did exactly what I wanted, damn didn't know I had so much volume on the top of my hair(thanks Leyle). We were chit chatting about where we were from and it was very nice knowing a barbershop is nearby if I need to get a haircut. Please check these two out they are very friendly, kind, and amazing at what they do. Coming from NY didn't know the price of a haircut was so reasonable, I will come back here again knowing Leyle killed it with cutting haircuts. Just an FYI their hours of operation is M-Sat 9:30-6:00pm and Sunday is 10:00am or 10:30-2pm. Overall great experience will come back cheers to Leyle and Russ for their hard work. read more

The last time I cut my hair here, Russ was my barber and he cut my hair exactly like I wanted to and he was very friendly. I recently wanted to get another haircut and I tried to book an appointment with Russ again, but he was busy so I booked an appointment with Sabir. However, this time my experience was bad as Sabir did not cut my hair the way I showed him, and I later realized that he charged me for a fade, even though he gave me a regular men's haircut. read more

Made an appointment with Sabir for 2:45. We adjusted our day to wait for this appointment. My husband shows up and he is told his mother will be cutting my husbands hair. I normally don't leave reviews unless the place stands out enough for me to leave one. First off, the staff was incredible. Very friendly and helpful. They make you feel very welcomed. Secondly, and most importantly, they do a fantastic job on their cuts. Ever since I've moved to Charlotte, one of the hardest things is finding somewhere that can actually cut hair properly. I travel a lot and out of all the places I've been to, Charlotte has got to be the worst place ever for finding a good haircut.
