Even though there were many salons closer to my new home, I went to see Steven based on this recommendation. I was not disappointed! He was so nice, friendly, and on time for my appointment. The salon was spacious and clean. My husband had a pedi with Vin and said he was great, too. There was another technician there, Pim, who seemed so kind - always smiling at incoming customers. I understand she does a great job with builder gel and will try her, too, in case Steven isn't available. I was able to make an appt on Yelp. They were friendly in the phone and book me same day. I was serviced by Kiana. She allowed me to have a relaxing pedicure in the massage chair without talking to me. Then when she gave me the manicure we had a great conversation. She was professional and offered great service and quality work. She only works Saturday and Sundays but the salon is open 7 days a week. They never close. They offer bottled water, sparkling water, champagne and a variety of alcoholic beverages. I have no complaints. Because I get simple and easy services, I'd return again. I had no issues.

Today I arrived at 10:03am, and by the time I worked my way up to the counter, at 10:10 am I was told I would need to come back in an hour to see Lana since she was already with a client. This is common and fine, especially if you have a preferred tech. So, I was more than happy to return. I returned under an hour later at 11:05am and was told she was already with someone else and I mentioned I was back in less than an hour later. That's when the receptionist could have cared less. She stated she didn't tell me that, and that it was someone else, which it was. The lack of communication and care clearly relayed we don't want your business, or you can just keep trying. The dismissive attitude was clear. So, time to move on. What a shame. I have come here for years and now none of that matters.

During my first visit, I requested a design the nail tech said she could do, but ultimately could not, so I settled for a simpler design and paid without issue. For my fill-in appointment, I arrived on time for my 5:30 PM appointment, but my service did not begin until 6:00 PM. I showed the same nail tech the design I wanted, and she confirmed she could do it. Unfortunately, she struggled throughout the service, repeatedly removing and restarting the design. By the time the salon was closing, my nails were still not finished. After nearly two hours, around 7:45 PM, I politely asked for the design to be removed and a plain polish applied instead. I did not raise my voice or cause a scene, and I even apologized for the tech having to stay past closing. I paid in full and left calmly, although I was unhappy with the service. The following morning, I received a text from someone claiming to be a manager, stating that I was BANNED from the salon like I'm some kind of criminal. I found this unprofessional and disappointing. At no point was I rude or disrespectful. I was patient, communicative, and understanding, even when the service could not be completed as agreed. I would have appreciated an apology or accountability from an incompetent nail tech rather than being dismissed for calmly expressing dissatisfaction with a service that was not delivered as promised. What I received instead was deflection and lazy management. Sounds like a lawsuit for discrimination. Be blessed.

That is obviously not a discount to make their business friendly to nurses, as most nurses do not have their badge on them at all times.
