The one that really got me was finding a chunk of concrete buried in a planting bed. I was not able to be around to hover over the workers as my wife would say, but it doesn't hurt. We are happy with the finished project and being able to wheel the lawnmower easily from the front to backyard, made it all worthwhile.

The Yards Done Right crew is extremely polite, professional, and hard working. These guys really care about doing a great job on a project. The work was much more than a mow and rake, we needed vegetation removed, or relocated, had a lot of in-ground concrete that had to go, etc. YDR completed everything asked of them. The only rub is that I could have used a little more communication as scope adjustments happened in relation to cost, but this is not unique to YDR, and there were certainly opportunities, in retrospect, where I could have begun or clarified those conversations. Overall I recommend YDR without hesitation.

Come March 2025 we had a leak. It took quite a while to get them out for a fix. Come holiday time 2025 the leak which had been fixed was back, so we called. The person we spoke to said they weren't sure if someone could come out that day. We waited three weeks while water was coming into our living room every time it rained for a call back. We had to hire another roofing company to fix the leak. They fixed it in three days. We still have to fix the water damage. Then we got a text in January 2026 asking if we still needed to have someone fix our leak....seriously?!

Multiple errors were made including installing something upside down which caused a leak of propane and required us to evacuate our house so that an emergency crew could come fix it. Very little concern for keeping living areas clean during renovations, despite being asked repeatedly. Could hear the lead guy loudly complaining to another contractor about having to build bookshelves for our library (which was part of Lifespan's design). Now have discovered they installed HVAC using poor quality equipment that is failing and leaking refrigerant. They admit to the problem but will not fix unless we "consider" sharing the cost of repairs. Spent several hundred thousand dollars for very sloppy work. Would not recommend. Suggest you try All West - owner actually comes on site so the quality and care are ensured.
