I use Ruben 5 years ago to install a water heater. 5 years later I called due to issue with my heater and we set a date and time. The time was Midday so I had to take the entire day off from work and he was aware of this. The day arrives.. no show no call. I tried calling him and he was hanging up the phone. I tried leaving him voice messages and to no prevail . He send me a message telling me to stop calling him because he's having an emergency and he will call me back later. That was extremely rude, he didn't even have the decency to tell me I'm sorry I'm late but I will be there . I left them another message telling him how rude and unprofessional his message was and never heard from him again I wasted an entire day from work that he was aware of. It is now 5:00 and I never heard from him today. I would never use him again and I highly recommend you do the same. read more

Not for leaks. When leaks come back he blames the leaks on "the part he didn't fix". It's just dishonest logic. Fix the leak, not the pipe. For other jobs he'll do fine. If you have a leak that "if it came back" could cause thousands of dollars of damage to your property, then I don't recommend. read more

His team was professional and climbed up on my roof four times to clear a stubborn clog in 90 degree weather. Bad customer services, unprofessional. We needed to replace a new pump and filter. Ruben came and gave us an estimate. After the pump and filter were installed a few days, it stopped working. We reached out to them multiple times to see if they can come and take a look, nobody responded. Turned out, not only they overcharged us for a bad pump that didn't work but wrongly installed our filter. We had to get another plumber to fix his bad job. I rarely write any negative review but it's unfair for new customers. After all , we chose this company because of those good reviews. But our experience was terrible. Extremely disappointed considering this company has good reviews on Yelp. I called on Fri 3/12, no answer. Sent a detailed text that same day & was told someone would come on Mon 3/15. Mon came & no one came or called/text me to reschedule. I sent a text that same day & was told someone would come on Tue 3/13. Tue came & I got a text saying they had to reschedule for Fri 3/19. Fri came & again no one came or called/text me to reschedule. At that point I didn't bother calling them back to reschedule. There are two other bad reviews on Yelp with the same type of complaint. I understand "emergencies" happen but there's a way to handle them professionally when dealing with clients, like communicating with them! I'm posting some of the texts that were sent.
