I requested a visit online and got an upfront price (as well as a general idea of the services). When I decided to remodel my apartment I did what everyone suggested and got 3 different estimates. Here are the reasons why Liriano Construction/Plumbing should be your choice for ANY kind of remodeling/plumbing: PROFESSIONALISM- Osmel Liriano was the ONLY ONE of the 3 contractors that didn't complain about the association or about having to take equipment and/or supplies to and from the second floor. He took all the measurements needed on our first meet and within 3 days I had an itemized estimate. FYI- FULLY LICENSED! CLEANLINESS: One of my main concerns was finding a contractor that I trusted enough to leave to work and not concern myself with what was happening at home. The hallway outside my apartment showed no signs that the apartment itself had been stripped down to the bones. I had no complaints from my neighbors, on the contrary, all I heard was how great they all were. METICULOUS/STRONG WORK ETHIC: If it doesn't look right, they'll be the first ones to say it. There's no need to check their work, they're extremely picky and takes pride in what they do. WHAT WAS DONE: - They removed my existing tile and installed the new wood look tile. - Gutted the kitchen and opened it up. - Removed my extremely large mirrored wall. - Replaced my tank water heater for an electric wall unit and did the necessary rewiring. - Installed recess lighting in the bathrooms, hall and kitchen area. - Gutted and remodeled both bathrooms. Master bath had water damage at one point and the previous owners "fixed" the leak but left the damaged drywall and tried to match the hideous tile. - Installed barn door. - Brought my plumbing up to code, including toilets which were not properly set up for an apartment. - One of my favorite things... they recommended that I remove my slide door because it was damaged and if I changed it down the road, it would leave a gap in my tile. WOW!!! What a difference that made! My balcony was already sealed off with impact windows so now I have more square footage indoors! I truly enjoy working with a family business, Liriano Plumbing is truly that. I called this father & son team due to a clog in our cast iron lines. I actually found them through yelp. He came the same day and took care of it. What I enjoy from this company is that they are professional, efficient and technically savy. They text you the quote and service, send another message to inform you they are on the way and then also send the invoice and payment receipt. Their fees were reasonable. Afterwards I had them come back to reset my toilet and change the valve of a leaky shower. They left my bathroom clean after the work. I recommend them and will continue using them. read more
