The owner made the pitch - their bid was competitive, quality of materials used was good and he explained exactly what was needed. While described as a family company, it was a group of Eastern Europeans who did the work. The job was done in one day but the finished product was very sloppy. After complaining Mr. Walsh got back to me immediately and sent the team back to fix things. They recapped my chimney but still left a lot of bricks and mortar debris on my roof. And while the recap was an improvement the repointing of the brick work was still very poorly done.

Called for an appointment on Thursday and Friday morning the chimney guy was at the apt ready to do his job. It took him about an hour for cleaning and inspection and he told me that the fireplace was not used much in the past and it just needed a good cleaning and lookover .
