First it's the clutch and then oh by the way 'we didn't know' but it's your transmission...uh are you NOT a transmission shop? Do you specialize in this area? Okay fine..do it and I'll pay for it. I pick my car up (oh by the way a WEEK after it was promised) and drive it about 3 miles when I realize that my clutch is vibrating to the point where I can't drive it....bring it back and magically it's now the pressure plate. Replace that and I pick up my car and my front end sounds like it's going to fall off...so I GOT SMART and took it to another mechanic where they told me that AAMCO forgot to tighten my sway bar bolts. FORGOT! Nice work AAMCO. Classy job oh and yes I will mention this to every single person who asks my opinion and even ones that don't.

The whole reason to bring your car to a mechanic shop is to get their expert opinions. InsteadI felt as though I was supposed to provide customer service and give them sort of expert guidance. I wanted to give local shops a chance but your experience often falls short. Small shop with little foreign car knowledge contrary to the name of the business. I am sure they are honest but not competent. You need only to bring straight forward issue that not complex with them and be ready to provide buyer service.

Best of all, he comes to your house and works on your car in the driveway or whatever free space that you have! My workhorse car aka a 1998 Infiniti I30 was in need of a new starter. I wasnt ready to give up my "baby" over a starter issue, so I was lucky to have found Moj. He was extremely punctual, took pride in his work and worked quickly. I could tell he knew exactly what he was doing. I asked him if there was anything else that he thought needed to be repaired, and he recommend that I change my spark plugs and drive belts. Knowing that I had not changed those in years, I arranged for him to come back the following week to get those done as well. As for prices, Moj is EXTREMELY reasonable and fair. His prices cannot be beat by any other mechanic/garages in town. If you have an older car that just needs repairs, Moj is the guy! TIP: Moj does not supply the parts, so all you have to do is go to your favorite auto parts store or dealer and buy the parts that you need. He will do the rest! It's old car though so not much power in acceleration anymore but it works. He didn't replace the whole transmission just cleaned out and repaired transmission that takes skill. Thank you! Don't go to Village Transmission they couldn't even fix my transmission they just repaired my radiator thinking that, that's all it was.

Got a complete transmission rebuild with a 1-year warranty. It took a little over 4 weeks to get the truck back. On the test drive with manager Christian, the truck slammed into gear while shifting. He called it a "Bump Shift" and I disagreed with him. He said it was the shift kit he put in it, and he would take it out and put in the factory version. I never asked for a shift kit, so I don't know why they even put one in it. I also had leaking filter, reverse gear slippage and missing Bell Housing dust cover plate. After 3 additional attempts to get it right, my truck is still messed up. Even with a warranty they told me to take it somewhere else, and they would pay for it! What kind of business does that? Terrible attitudes, terrible customer service and a complete lack of respect for their customers. They are more than happy to take your money, but you better watch out if you have a problem. They are also not BBB accredited if that's important to you. I've found 3 other people that have had problems here. How this place has a 4.7 star rating cannot be possible. I did notice a review from a year ago that stated: "It's my dad's shop, he works so hard even on the weekends, he day and night" I guess you can make up your own mind if you think all the reviews are legit. The Manager Christian and Owner Emil should be ashamed of themselves and their complete failure to fix my truck. I feel sorry for anyone that dares to take their vehicle to them. I do want to thank Jamie at the front desk though. She was always nice to me and tried her best to help me. Thanks Jamie, good luck! I was really impressed with Dave's honest diagnosis and fair pricing, so I was a bit nervous when Edgar took over the business. Luckily, Edgar and his team are just as reliable - very efficient and have excellent diagnostic skills. In addition to regular oil changes, I've had my spark plugs replaced here, and their pricing was even better than the dealership. They also identified a couple of maintenance issues that the dealer completely missed, though it turns out they're not urgent. I appreciate that Edgar was upfront about this and just suggested keeping an eye on them for future maintenance appointments. On top of that, my glove compartment had been sticking for months - Edgar figured out the problem and fixed it in under two minutes! Great service, great people, and honest work every time.
