Romeo said he is the owner of R&W Repairs and Renovations. He stated out very polite and patient. He presumed to know what he was doing. He gave my husband and me a lot hope. I should have done better research and not just rely on Angie's List. Romeo doesn't communicate with you. You have to call and text him for days. He starts projects and doesn't finish none of them. In May/June of 2022, I needed a bathroom redone due to a leak under the shower. It only made sense to redo the whole bathroom given the leak damaged most of the wood under the tile. I contacted 3 companies and went with Romeo. I wanted to stay at a certain price point given the size of the bathroom, 5-7,000. The WHOLE bathroom can maybe fit 3 adult people standing up at the same time. It's a very small bathroom. I chose Romeo because he said he could do it for the price point and do it in under a week. Had I known what I would've gotten ahead of time, I would've paid the extra one to two thousand and gone with a different company. In the beginning, Romeo was prompt in his responses. Once he got the job, not so much. What was supposed to take a week, took over a month AND 2-3 trips of us (owners of the home) driving to and from Georgia from Florida because his timeline was interfering with the renters' work schedule. We even went shopping for supplies to assist the crew in completing the reno faster. The renters went above and beyond accommodating Romeo and his crew. They used vacation leave to stay home and asked to work from home to be here for them. Once their time was up, and the bathroom was still not completed, we ended up having to take vacation time, drive up, and stay in local hotels to sit in the home, wait for them to show up, and do the work. After the bathroom was finally "done", the renters sent pics of what "done meant" to Romeo. They'll be in this review. They had to come back out and fix some issues but not all. When asked about some of the issues, he basically said we didn't provide the supplies. We were never asked and when they did, we would try to locate the materials and if we couldn't find it, we would notify them so they could go out and find it. Here it is, not even 8 months later, and this is my second time reaching out to Romeo, who only responds if I text multiple times, for the same issue. The grout in the shower falling out. Pics are also in review. If you are getting a renovation done, I do NOT recommend this company. The lack of care, service, response, and urgency is beyond frustrating. I am still waiting after almost a week (February of 2023), for him to give me a time of when he can check the shower grout. The same shower I had an issue with in November 2022, where I told him the shower needed regrouting and he said it only needed resealing. I waited this long to post a review because I was having so many issues and was hoping the company would do better. I have been patient and respectful. It's apparent, he will not. He does not care. The outstanding issues: -Grout in shower falling out (not fixed) -Tiles in shower cut evenly. Done by Romeo himself (Not fixed) -Tile floor gaps (not fixed) -Hole in wall behind door (fixed) -Hole in wall in vanity (not fixed) -Vanity does not have "Marble" piece connecting wall and vanity (not fixed) -Hole in door trim (not fixed) -Shower tile does not have bullnose trim (not fixed) -Floor vent not cut but placed under wall trim (not fixed). read more

I hired this business to repair/replace my roof. They charged me almost $5700. I paid a deposit of $3127. After the job was completed i paid them in full for services. Upon my investigation I discovered that I had been over charged. I did not do my due diligence in checking out the charges. They charged me for materials that were not used. 7 panels were used and I was charged for over 20. One of the workers step through my ceiling leaving a hole. Had Romeo do a complete bathroom remodel they started off professional with demo than after demo it went down hill. They barely showed up when they did it was for an hour or two he wouldn't text back for days at a time. I paid them over 5k the project started in November 2022 and here it is March 2023 and it still not completed. My family has to travel 2 counties over to shower he left us without a functional bathroom and the item he did install was done incorrectly and he also damaged the item I purchased. Some items such as a LED light I purchased went missing that he was supposed to install. He left an open wire in my shower, installed my toilet, faucet, tub, and vanity cricket left a whole in my floor, and there is no running water to my vanity. He also did not complete my shower. All his measurements were off. When I told him I was not satisfied with the work and had a home inspection and another contractor come take a look both said the same thing that the bathroom has to be completed redone and when I told Remeo he told me if I want him to correct his own work I would have to pay him more money. That's right more money than what was agreed upon and more money to fix what he messed up and more money to complete a project that he's already been paid for. He doesn't not answer the phone barely text back and doesn't care. If I could give him a zero I would. He get you to a place where he feel like you need him than disappears or tries to get more money out of and as you can see a refund is not even an option. HE'S A scammer scammer SCAMMER !!!
