After my move, I discovered problems that I contacted the company to try to get them to solve, but the jerk who answers the phone was incredibly rude and dismissive, ignored my request to put me in touch with the company owner since he wasn't helping me, and then my emails went unanswered too. So unfortunately I have to say that this company is unreliable and you should under no circumstances hire them. The movers are not careful or thoughtful, and nothing will be done to rectify their many mistakes. In my case, the mistakes included a bookshelf that is now very wobbly, a suitcase and several boxes that they let sit in the pouring rain on the day of my move, two missing pieces on my book case that have rendered it unusable, the destruction of my two bidet hoses, and forgetting to bring a mattress bag to move my mattress in the pouring rain. I regret tipping any of them for the work that they did before taking time to actually inspect that work. On the day of my move I was too tired to realize how much damage they had done. It took about a week of starting to rearrange furniture at my new place before I realized it, but then when I contacted them to let them know about the issues, they ignored me. It's very stupid and short sighted because I'm renting an apartment, so this is obviously not going to be my forever home. When I do move, they could have guaranteed my repeat business and they could have benefitted from me suggesting them to others. Now they have not only lost any chance at more money from me, they can be sure I will tell everyone I meet to steer clear of them. All they had to do was spend a little time fixing simple issues, but they couldn't be bothered to do the bare minimum. Utterly unprofessional and substandard.

Every piece of furniture, (including family heirlooms), arrived heavily damaged. Deep gouges, broken legs, and scratched surfaces that were not there prior to the move. Items were poorly wrapped (if at all), and it showed. What's worse is the complete refusal to take accountability. After documenting the damage and reaching out, we were met with dismissive responses, delays, and ultimately no resolution. They wanted us to provide them with product #'s for each piece of furniture, several pieces don't have product #'s as they are antiques and have been in our family for generations. No meaningful claims process, no effort to make it right, just deflection and ridiculous requests for product #'s that don't even exist. Moving is already stressful. Hiring professionals is supposed to reduce that, not make it worse. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you value your belongings and expect basic professionalism and accountability.

However, it was odd to not receive a confirmation email, electronic receipt, text or phone call to check in between the time I ordered it and the drop off. I had to call back and make sure it was set to be delivered the following morning, and had to confirm a time. They do give a window for the dumpster drop off, but it arrived right at the beginning. Best part- you don't have to be there when they come to pick it up as long as you've followed their guidelines!

After a truck trouble delay (not their fault) the 4 guys got right to work with Nate directing the furniture/box Tetris. They respected my belongings (wrapping delicate pieces and watching tight spots) and didn't complain about the stairs or heavy-ass Peloton bike. Loading up always takes longer but the team powered through and emptied the truck quickly at our destination. They even took a moment to celebrate my awesome new basement. On the negative side, their estimate had no relation to the final billing, which was $2,000 above. And this was not due to any unforeseen items or logistical blockages. It was simply, "Oops! Sorry about that." Not acceptable. Finally, be prepared for Ralph's wife, who mans the office, to sear the skin off your face with her rudeness. Bottom line: shop around and get an iron-clad commitment from the mover to stay within a clearly delineated price range.
