Had major damage from hurricane on an old fence, very long and rotten. The guys showed up on time and worked hard at removing the old fence and installing the new fencing. Did awesome job and even made it so our dogs could go out that evening without leashes. (They left no gaps overnight.) Arrived early the 2nd day and worked straight through until afternoon completion. They hauled off all the rotten fence panels and left no trash or mess at all. I did not purchase a fence........the neighbor behind me did and I hope they are happy because I SURE AM NOT. They destroyed my back yard, left huge holes, broke my plants, moved my vases and plants, knocked statutes off of pedestal and uprooted my huge split leaf and left it laying in my pond. I don't know about the other reviews but that was not our experience. Don't pay them until your satisfied with the result. Once they got paid it was like we no longer existed. Our fence does not have all the hardware installed. The gate is not level and won't open all the way. They left all the old post holes open and threw chunks of concrete in the holes. Multiple phone promises to complete the work and a visit to the house to confirm the work was not completed then nothing. Good luck if you decide to go with this company. By the way they cut my cable wire also.....but did get it fixed. Odd though. read more

POOR SERVICE!! Go elsewhere - Here is my experience: I should have known there would be an issue when we called in October and we couldn't get a quote. We even showed up in their showroom and still didn't get any response to our ask for a quote. But when we finally decided to move on the project after the holidays, we tried one more time since we like supporting a local business and were able to get them to provide us an estimate which we accepted and has the work completed 12/31. The initial work was fine; we even provided referrals for 4 other jobs that they completed, but now I am deeply regretting it. We did ask that they remove the old posts from the existing fence - didn't happen. They left the 6x6 posts supporting the gates at full height, which didn't make any sense. It's a 6' fence. Why wouldn't you bury them deeper or cut them? Fast forward to April - 3 panels are warped for no reason. No less than TEN (10) phone calls and we have yet to have an resolution. I have asked NUMEROUS times to speak to the Randall Champ, which have been ignored. Beware! Hope you don't have a similar experience! What I learned: Research! as of 6/16/16: D Rating from the BBB - 6 complaints closed with BBB in last 3 years | 1 closed in last 12 months. FB ratings 2.7/5 not including my issue. read more

If I could give them minus 10 stars right now, I would. We have been complaining about our fence installation from the beginning. The installer - who did the terrible job - was the only one who kept coming out to fix it. I believed him until, after the hurricane, I made sure a supervisor - or other representative (whoever "Mike" is, which I did like) finally came out to look the fence because by this time I had no choice (a tree fell on our home which damaged a few fence panels, nothing to do with the poor installation). He saw a lot more than I did, even, that was wrong with the fence installation and apologized. He said he would give that info to the owner, and I thought things would be resolved so I stayed quiet. It has been almost a MONTH now of calling and emailing and now today Patrick says there is nothing else he can do but tell Mr. Champ. So, even though he was extremely RUDE, he's probably right. I game them this job based on a good friend having their installation seemingly go well and then when they did have a problem they said R Champ's team resolved it. That was just last year. Had it not been for a good friend recommending them, I would have stayed away because ALL reviews online AND the BBB report says that they are bad news. I should have listened. IF Mr. Champ finally calls himself and comes to see this terrible job, and fixes the issues, I will update my review. If not, this review stands and we will be taking further action. R Champ fence came out to do an estimate a couple of months back for some chain link fence and two custom size gates to be installed. The estimator said I should hear from them within a couple of days with a price for the work. This was in February of 2019, it is now the end of April 2019. I have called several times to get the quote on the cost, only to be told that someone will call me back. To date, no one from the company has returned my call. I do not know what kind of company they are, but reading all of the negative reviews on here, they will never be contacted by or recommended by me to others to have any type of fence work done. read more

I have never written a bad review for any business but this was so bad, I am writing my first Yelp review. STAY AWAY FROM RCHAMP! This is the worst run company I have ever dealt with. My neighbors and I decided it was time to replace our fence so we called RChamp. HUGE MISTAKE! -Called 3 times to schedule and reschedule appointments for estimates because they kept missing the appointment. -The estimator under estimated the cost by several hundred dollars because he didn't see the difference between a white and tan fence. -After telling us they'd complete all 3 fence lines together, the scheduler only scheduled 1 yard so the other 2 of us had to wait several more days for the installers to be able to get to us. (=1 day of worked missed) -After the installers get there, they turned a 1 day job into 2 and laughed when I told them the estimator advised it would be a 1 day job. (=another day of work missed) -On day 2 of the installation, a different crew arrived only to have to redo some of the work of the first day crew. -They attempted to charge me for a section of the fence that had already been paid for and when I called to discuss with "management", they couldn't find the paperwork and it took me calling them 3 more times to finally get them to understand they had overcharged and to take the reduced payment. -When the day 2 installers put in a gate post, they failed to secure it and during the hurricane, the gate post banged against the house and it took them MONTHS to get back out and secure the fence post correctly. -One of the sections of fence in my neighbors yard came apart during the storm and after weeks of calling, the estimator came out and told him it wasn't their problem but they could fix it for another $500! -The other neighbor still has the old gate because the estimator failed to put it on the original estimate and after the way the company responded, they decided not to pay them for any more work. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS! They installed a short fence in my backyard 4 months ago. Noticed recently that the supporting boards began to warp- Had to call numerous times to get them out here to replace, the owner was very rude and unconcerned. He refused to replace the bottom boards because he claims they were warped from the moisture in the ground! That does not explain WHY the top boards warped the same way! They are using UNTREATED wood even though they claim it isn't- And if by CHANCE the boards warped from this so called moisture, it is THEIR fault for installing it too close to the ground. But that is NOT the case. THEY ARE A RIP OFF! I will be placing my complaint with the BBB even though they are not members. read more

The work started out great. Came home after the completion and turned on the sprinkler system to check that the heads we had to move were moved far enough. As soon as we turned it on and run through the different sections we noticed two pipes were broken, there was overflowing water wverywhere. We called the company, left a message and sent an email but we never got a response. We got a hold of the install person and he admitted to them breaking two pipes but thought it wasn't serious because nothing came out. He came out back to fix the broken pipes. Not all were fixed. They left piles of dirt and garbage from digging the holes. We have called the company numerous times, a couple of times talked to the secretary and yet no one has called us back as promised. After the very high winds from the recent hurricane, there are panels blown out and a few other sections that appear to be ready to come out. There is also a post which was not cemented in very well. Horrible service would not recommend at all! So after having them come and give me a quote and explain that i wanted black chain link fence and specified that i would need very little to no gaps at all on all three gates so my little dog wouldn't be able to get out , i was told that wouldn't be a problem. when they came and installed the fence not only were there extremely big gaps on all the gates, but most of the hard wear that was used wasn't even black but silver. not to mention all the scratches and damage they left on the fence. totally unacceptable.so i called and had a very nice gentleman show up to my house and he agreed with me that the job was not up to standard and would have someone come to my house to fix all the problems. He explained that painting the damaged areas wouldn't work because in a year or two it would only wear off. ok so i was comfortable with that. Only to come out of my house a few days later to see one of the fence workers at my house spray painting all the damaged areas and hardware that wasn't even black. i asked the gentleman to stop. two days later they were at my house removing all the fence, when i asked what they were doing they told me they where removing the fence to come back tomorrow to put in new fencing. so i called the office to see when they were looking to come back only to be told they weren't replacing the fence at all. liars!!!! so glad i didn't put any money down on this because this company is not dependable read more

We plans to replace our wood rotting fence, that was built by inexperienced people,which was recommended by our previous neighbor When we finally decided and got the chance to get some information where we can get a reasonable price from a circular that my son in law recommended. we contacted them.From talking to Jeff from the phone, He's very pleasant to talk to.But, when, the contract to start building the new fence.It didn't actually started from the date where they are supposed to start building the project.They said the contractors are supposed to do our fence got a problems " due to the cold and snowy weather in their area in Georgia.So,in other word,we waited for actually 3 days until the weather becomes clearer.But,the 4th. day,they said the contractor had a pipe burst in their house, that needs to be fix.So,they did not show up until the next day,the 5th. day from the said, date to start the project. The reason, why we want to start the project much sooner, because my husband has to go back to work and fly back to oversea.That's why, they have to start the building process earlier.So, he can see the fence how it goes.But did not happen that way.At first,it's just alright and smooth job.And in the end,i don't know,if they loose their pulls on finishing the job.But ,they got hard times trying to make the front gate and the pole itself align to the wall.Before, mike and gene left the house,they said they will be back to fix the unfinished gate.That including,one piece on the pole cap is missing.But,so far, they did not go back, yet to straighten up the damage hinges on the front gate.Actually, they need to re done the front pole and gates itself.Because,there are multiple holes in them. i trusted these guys,They maybe slow doing the job, but i found them, very pleasant.I understand, they maybe,age,but can actually do the job well.Although, they don't show on time.They show on their own convenience.I'm hoping,they will remember, that they have more unfinished job to take care.We try to contact the business about the problems, but there are no answer.We left a message on their answering machine.I hope they will reconsider. read more
