Mike's wasn't the lowest bid, but it was the only one without contingencies, and the only one which stated up front that his crew would remove the old tile floor, repair any underlying issues with the subfloor, and level it before installing the new luxury vinyl planks. Plus we felt comfortable after meeting him about the plan and the quality of the materials/work. It took about two weeks after signing up to get the planks ordered/delivered, and then set a time to do the installation. A two-man crew showed up around 8:30 a.m., gave me some updates along the way to show what was happening (and ask some important questions I hadn't considered, like which way the new planks should run), and they finished installing the flooring and the quarterround by about 11:30 a.m. Everything looks great, and we are very happy.

As a customer, I feel that Moe has treated me very inappropriately. It is never good form to call a customer an idiot, especially in writing... Preparation was extensive but the contractor did it with knowledge and on schedule. They were outstanding and the tenants are thrilled with their new flooring. Again, the installers were outstanding and moved all furniture, put everything back exactly as it originally was located. The carpets are beautifully installed. Everyone was on time, explained the work prior to the job. Rain was in the forecast so the installers worked around this problem too. Both LVT & carpet people cleaned after their work so no further disruption was made to the families. Followup contacts were made by the owner of the company to ensure our happiness.
