Babe and I just walked over from the flooring store to check this place out for pedicures. Packages include a steam treatment for your toesies! I needed to color match a gel manicure done back home and not only did they have the exact color for the regular polish but also in gel to repair a crack in my fingernails. I am a sucker for foot reflexology and they definitely delivered. They weren't just rubbing on my calves but got into the muscles of my soles. Needless to say. Made an appointment for an acrylic fill in and spa pedicure. I suggest you make an appointment - they are big with respecting everyone's time. My nails are perfect. I love simplicity but also pay attention to detail. Kelly completed my manicure and was perfect. The shape is amazing, she also asked if I was pleased as she continued to do my nails, she was fun and kind as well. My pedicure was completed by the gentleman, he did a great job. I called at 10:30am to make an appointment for my birthday to get a builder gel manicure and UV Gel pedicure. I was greeted nicely at the time of my appointment and given many compliments, the staff was polite but there may have been a language barrier when asking for builder gel she immediately brings out tips you would use for acrylics. I stopped her by removing my hand after she put the nail glue on my thumb and told her I asked for builder gel. She says they only have hard gel and I replied that's fine as long as I don't receive acrylics with tips. The rest of my service for my manicure was perfectly fine. When it came to my pedicure I didn't receive a courtesy massage like the other two women who got regular pedicures in the two chairs next to me (fine with me I didn't buy a spa pedicure). Some things I did have a problem with were that my nails were oddly shaped, and when I got home, I realized the gel was not cured properly, down to the base coat (see pictures for reference). The following day (today) I called and explained the matter and a gentleman answered saying he'd take care of it and apologized, we agreed I'd be there at 2:30 for someone to do a color change. When I arrived at 2:28 I was greeted again, and I'd said that I had called earlier to rectify my toe situation, he immediately started speaking with the woman who did my pedicure yesterday and as he ushered me to sit I tried to quietly request someone else redo it as I could tell she was novice. He interrupted me saying "I know I know I will be doing that for you" making a spectacle out of it but I in no way intended to make the girl feel bad, he brought her over and briefly scolded her pushing each of my nails to show her that most were not cured fully, not just my big toes. I then had to wait for someone else to be done, the removal process didn't start until 2:58 & I did not start getting base coat on my toes until 3:04. This time I asked for cat eye instead of a plain UV gel to match my nails I did the day prior, the man said do you remember which color it was and I showed him exactly the one used he said it didn't look the same & I explained to him the only color I have on my nails is the pink from the builder gel, if possible I'd like to use something similar for the base and the same color cat eye on top. He then said he couldn't do that because all base and cat eye combos are different so it wouldn't come out the same. I said okay and picked one from the samples he gave me, only to be told that the shapes are all going to come out different as well. I've not experienced that at any other nail salon and he couldn't get the cat eye to reflect in the design I requested. Then I'm as I'm explaining to him that it's not the color that I asked for and picked up the sample. He did not let me finish. He kept interrupting me saying "I know I know I understand you, but you're not understanding me." I assured him that I was not trying to be difficult, but I asked for a design and agreed to pay the extra $15 for it even though I'm here two days in a row, and his response was " You are being difficult she tried and I tried and it's not working" so I said "I don't appreciate being yelled at so if you don't mind taking a second deescalate. You can take the cat eye off and I will just take plain black" he started speaking a different language to the other workers and they started to look at me. This whole encounter was so rude I left crying, he said he felt bad and would do a standard cat eye line for my birthday no charge I said please just put the top coat on I would like to go home. This salon is beautiful and staff is friendly but if you want quality service and your nails to look professional PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. My nails look like a 5 year old polished it...definitely nail techs in training. I never leave reviews but I also never what anyone to receive the service I just experience....lumpy/not smooth and crooked nails.
