Let me explain.. 1 - sales person outside store (kiosk) either compliments you or points out a wrinkle on your face 2 - they always ask you where you are from 3 - offer a free sample 4 - offer to try the product out on your face.. basically they mix their product with foundation so it looks to you like it works 5 - try to sell you the product (we have a promotion blah blah blah) Honestly, don't be a fool.. buy your facial products from reputable brands. You should always do your research anyway. I had a fun and enriching experience with Agora who introduced me to the Perfectio X red light therapy. At first I was a bit skeptical but with time I did see an improvement in my skin's appearance and I am happy with the purchase. The device came with a complimentary serum and day cream both feel great on my skin and have very little scent which I prefer as a man. The only thing I would improve is their facial availability. Ok so it's taken me such a long time to review this beautiful little shop because I come here for the privacy, amazing facials, and magical skincare collection. Sometimes when you have a place you absolutely love that's not crowded and you feel at peace there, you really want to keep it a secret so that it doesn't get bombarded with customers, but since I'm a true Yelper, I couldn't keep this a secret any longer. This is the perfect little place to get your facials and replenish your skincare regimen. It's a place I always run into celebrities at and some are also my clients. If you live in the area or just visiting I highly recommend that you try this place at least once for the facials! They have the most amazing skincare line called Kristals which is infused with with real stones such as diamonds, sapphires, pearls, and rubies. No kidding! If you're a holistic type of person or just need to stay beautiful for your man or yourself, this is the skincare line you've got to try at least once in your life and you'll really thank me for it! I have always used Chanel skincare which ran me 5k a full set, then I switched to La Mer, which I swore by, and now because I had the opportunity to try my friend's Kristals skincare, I was hooked!! Immediately when I put the $1400 Red Ruby mask on my face, it plumped up and I looked much more youthful. This was the worst experience I have ever had! A very charming young man flirts while demonstrating the products and applying to your face. Be careful of the phony picture he takes before application and then look at the picture and your skin in a mirror to see the great difference. Well the picture taken before was a phake!!!! He demonstrated how terrible my skin was in this picture that was not of me. I was not diligent enough to realize what was happening so I purchased $14,000 worth of products. Within an hour I realized my ignorance and returned to the store to return most of these products. This same charming man became a rude and insulting individual claiming he told me no refunds and when I said that was not clear to me he stated he knew that would happen. Wow, looks like he knew what he was doing and expected me to return. Top notch skin care shop at the heart of Rodeo dr. I'm obsessed with the vitamin C serum and the A Tox. Both work miracles for my skin and really do make a difference. On Sundays they also have an esthetician in house which offers different types of facials. Make sure to book it ahead of time. The shopping experience is fun and the staff provide excellent service. I give it four stars though due to relatively expensive prices of most products. read more

Ok I admit it- I'm addicted lol. At first, when I started using Kristal's products I was skeptical as for why those creams cost so much and if it isn't just a waste of money. I gave it a shot after it was recommended to me by a good friend which I trust. The products I use are: Kristal's Eye Cream, Syringe and After Shave. The after shave is a little over rated in my opinion but the eye products are simply amazing. Fine lines which I use to have, just disappeared completely after three month. Dark circles which really bothered me haven't disappeared but were significantly diminished. Kristal's gave me back the confidence that skin care products do work, and I thank them for that! I was walking with my friend on rodeo drive about a month ago when this young lady approached me and offered me a sample. She noticed my breakouts and offered to show me a cleanser that could help. So I went in. She showed me a routine and a blue light that will help my acne. Although it was a high investment for me I can tell you it was worth every penny. My skin is smooth and soft now. I'm so grateful she took the time to show me a routine that works. My first visit at rodeo cosmetics was in April and I'm back home now feeling and looking absolutely flawless. The sample they use probably have some foundation. They like to consistently verify where you come from since their targets probably are the people who are visitors. New skincare routine. Finally :) I'm so happy with these products. I usually have oily skin and I used to have acne in my teenage years and I finally found something that works. It gives my skin moisture but it doesn't dry it out. I also noticed my dark circles around my eyes getting less since I use these products. What also helps is keeping the eye serum in a cool environment so it's a little chilled and de-puffs my eyes. My wife recently purchased a ton of products from this store and insisted that I start using them with her. She is a beauty product fanatic and would not take no for an answer. I received this scam treatment yesterday on Rodeo Drive. A woman outside tricked me into coming in for an eye cream treatment and then quickly tried to get me to buy the whole kit for a deal of several thousand dollars. Wow! She also asked me where I was from, and yes I'm from out of town but I'm not a fool. Her name is "Lisa",and she ridiculed me for getting Botox, made fun of me for not being able to afford the product but then told me she'd give me the VIP celebrity gold card even though I don't have 500K followers on Instagram. She also said if I'm capable of brushing my teeth twice a day I should be able to apply this product once a week. Overall, a very bizarre experience...that ended with glue on my face. My advice..."Lisa," before you ridicule patrons on the sidewalk and get in their faces...you should quit smoking because your breath stinks and it will age you more than your products can fix. read more

I received a product as a birthday gift, and boy was I impressed!!! Everything down to the little details on the packaging is so well thought out, and my daily skincare routine now feels so much more luxurious. So of course, my interest was piqued and this prompted a visit to the store. I came in knowing that I wasn't ready to splurge on anything else just yet, but I still wanted to see what the in-store experience was like. Even though the girls working there knew I was just browsing, they offered to answer any questions and were super knowledgeable about the products they offered. A while back I started using my friend's skin cream and it was AMAZING. I asked her where she got it from and she got it here. It's the only product that gives my skin the exact level of moisture I want. The smell is really good too, and it overpowers the pepperoni pizza scent I usually have so that's a bonus. I have tried two of their products, one is the rock crystal micro polish cleanser, second is the sapphire retinol age correcting cream. I love both products, especially the cream and how hydrating it is. I haven't used it long enough to be able to tell the anti-aging retinol effects, however as a night cream it is fabulous and non-greasy. First of all, this place carries very unique top shelf skincare products that I have not seen in places like Sephora, ulta, or Bloomingdale's. This review is specifically for the Introstem lumi cell collection as I have not tried anything else. I was already sold after trying the system at a friend's, but decided to try it one more time before I bought it at the store and I don't regret it. This stuff does wonders for mature skin and it's actually reduced some of my fine lines... I can't say that about any skin care product I've tried in the past. I cannot believe this place has 5-star reviews and is located on Rodeo Drive. I was foolish enough to purchase their VERY expensive A-Tox product---it does not work, feels like glue when it dries, and actually feels like it's pulling and stretching the thin and delicate skin under the eye. I would think one would stand by their products if they were a reputable company but R Cosmetics offers no returns. Additionally, one of the consultants, Morgan, who tried to aggressively sell me some kind of machine, told me she was not vaccinated, added that she traveled all over and "didn't get sick," while talking to me with no mask on inches away from my face. I immediately asked her to put on a mask. Christy K. of Lake Stevens, WA was SPOT ON in her 3/15/2021 review; it was exactly what I experienced in that, "This is a high pressure sell job with products that DON'T WORK!!  They have NO proof this stuff works, and it's nothing but chemicals!!!! They drag you into their shop after an attractive young lady says to come into the store for a free sample.....after she hands out a "regular" sample.  They sit you down,  and start the hard sell.  They don't take NO for an answer.  If you say "no", they will give you the "2 for 1" deal.  Then if you still say "no", they  throw in the face and eye cream....for only a mere $1600.00 dollars [$1500 for me].  Then they try to sell you some other gadgets. Then they tell you "No Refunds".  All this happens in about 5 minutes.  I got out alive because my husband got very serious when they kept up the hard sell.  Thank goodness! They are so aggressive!!!! My "consultant" claimed she worked with all these famous people.....showed me a "portfolio" of her "clients".....they looked  liked bad  photo copies of pictures out of an In-Style magazine!!
