Five stars for now! I saw that there were a few negative reviews regarding consultation, and experiences with the staff. Elizabeth initially reached out to me to discuss procedures I was interested in, costs, and she gave me financing options as well. Immediately after I applied, I received a phone call from Sophia who set up a consultation with Dr. Gould in June and my surgery in September. Both ladies were wonderful to talk to. I expect that these things take time. I suspect since Dr. Gould is as revered as he is, he must generate a lot of interest and he is only one person after all. I am very very nervous about this surgery because it is my face. But I believe just based on the reviews, how he explains the surgery in his videos, and not even talking to him yet, that he is someone who takes pride in is work and really cares about his patient. Highly recommended surgeon by my good friend who had surgery with Dr. Gould. I finally had a phone call after weeks of waiting and they gave me the impression that they were too busy for me and were trying to brush me away. I never got to see or speak to Dr. Gould. My very first call to the office, the lady at the front office was not friendly or helpful with their protocol, which I think is ridiculous. I have to schedule a call with a coordinator weeks out, only to maybe get on Dr. Gould's consultation list. I scheduled a call with the coordinator for weeks out. Then the day before, they called me twice telling me I never confirmed my phone appointment when I literally called them that afternoon and confirmed my next day appointment. A second woman called me at 4pm THE SAME DAY with an attitude that I still haven't confirmed my appointment. I guess my second phone call that day confirming was sufficient... On the call, she wanted me to send HER a selfie and told me he would want to do something else and told me it would be 34k (like gave me zero other options). I'm sorry - are you the doctor? You don't get to tell me what the doctor will want to do instead or what other procedures he might be able to do to achieve the look I'd like. That is for me and Dr. Gould to discuss at our consultation which she didn't even bother to book. Unprofessional was my whole experience and I didn't even see or speak to Dr Gould :/ waste of my time. I was making solid plans to come from the Bay Area just to see him, and ended up being almost a month long waste of time to get turned away by someone who isn't even a medical professional. read more

Finding the right surgeon is hard. I had consultations for a breast augmentation in the past and the situation did not feel right. When I met with Dr. Gould and his nurse, Tammy, for a consultation, I immediately felt at ease. They are both warm, down to earth and patient. They understood that while they do this sort of thing all the time, it was a big deal for me and took the time to answer ALL my questions. My biggest fear was that the augmentation would make my breasts look too fake, or that the surgeon would put in a size that was too big. Dr. Gould kept this in mind and even remembered my exact words, "I just want to look blessed," during the surgery. It's been 8 weeks since the operation and I feel completely back to normal and back to my regular work out routine. Dr. Gould did a fantastic job! The size is just right for my body and they look very natural. I'm 5'0", 108 pounds and decided to go with 110cc. What to expect: During the consultation, you will go over your wants with the doctor and nurse. If you decide to move forward, you'll discuss payment options with the office manager and schedule your pre-op and operation appts. Before your pre-op appt, simple bloodwork and a mammogram is required. These results must be reviewed by the doctor. At the pre-op appt, you'll go over any last minute questions, sizing concerns and questions and how to care for yourself after the operation. This experience reminded us that life is short and to not wait for tomorrow to do what you can do today. So, following my recovery the search for a Plastic Surgeon to perform a Mommy Makeover began. We had several consultations with other Surgeons and a referral to Dr Gould from a close friend before choosing him. No other Surgeon proposed a drainless, painless, tummy tuck. They all said I would be in bed and/or using a walker as I recovered. Not Dr Gould. Dr Gould tells you right up front what to expect and then follows through with what he says. So, how have the results changed my life and what do I want the readers of this review to get out of it? I want everyone to know that my self-confidence has increased immensely. I can wear anything I want without being self-conscious. My husband, who at first had reservations about all of this, couldn't be happier. He has always told me how beautiful I am, but now he says I am not only beautiful, but I am a new person with the renewed confidence that I had lost over the years. I was thrilled to have my facelift 10 months ago, the surgery went well but as my healing took place I became extremely displeased with the results-didn't look good! The scars kept getting worse friends are always commenting and at every appointment for several months Dr. Gould told me not to worry and to not look in the mirror. What dr would say that! I get plastic surgery to look good in the mirror! He even sent me before and after photos of myself without even asking me and told me how great I look asking me to write a good review with all the links loaded up. He even sent me to another surgeon friend of his Dr. Kao who told me I need to have it redone at the tune of $200k. I did do a redo facelift so you can imagine how much money I have put out in total.
