Their prices are great and it is worth heading to the other side of town for their prices. The selection here is much larger for most items than the other markets in Fresno. In the vegetable section there is always a guy there that is very knowledgeable and goes above and beyond with answering questions about unknown items to me, and giving recommendations of flavor profiles I may be unfamiliar with or I'm looking for that will match the dish I'm am describing. I always appreciate seeing his smiling face! I've never noticed before today, but there is a sign in the back near the meat counter that reads that they will fry your fish for you at no charge. That is something I will have to read reviews on and ask about! I love that they have two and go pay, I forgot my cards at home and was able to thankfully use tap and pay with comfort and ease. Although there weren't any at the register, Mario immediately offered to get some for me. He actually jogged over to grab them so he wouldn't keep the other customers waiting, which I thought was incredibly thoughtful. He went out of his way to help with something that could have easily been brushed off, and his willingness to help made a great impression. It's rare to see someone show that level of attentiveness and urgency for such a small request, but it really enhanced my shopping experience.
