We selected JBS Roofing last May after having 10 other contractors come out, and give us a quote…read morefor a new roof. JBS Roofing was not the cheapest of the 10, but they took the time to explain things in every detail. We were told that this would take 4-5 days to complete. It did not. More like 15 days before all of our issues were somewhat straightened out. As it turns out selecting JBS Roofing was the worst decision we ever made, I guess we fell for the sales pitch. Everything seemed to be going fine on day one, and day two as they removed the old roof. On day three no one even showed up, because apparently the equipment to load the new tiles onto the roof was unavailable. We were not informed of this until the following day. No phone call, no text. On the 4th day, on the back side of the roof where it meets the patio, they decided that they would stop one row short with the tile of the roof meeting the patio. What employee thought "hey that looks OK"??? (see pictures) After speaking with the supervisor, they added another row of tile so that it met with where it joined the patio. Also on the fourth day the heavy equipment that they used to load the tiles on the roof put a crack in our driveway. We spoke to the supervisor, and he agreed to get that fixed. The cement company (Blue Steel Builders) came out, and replaced the entire slab of the driveway. We have a texture pattern on our driveway which they tried to match, and the color is so far off, it's unbelievable. Literally like night and day (see pics)... again what employee thought "hey that looks good)??? It's not even a close match. They used chocolate brown when our driveway is sand colored. The cement company has come out several times to try to make it match to no avail, and eventually ghosted us by not returning my phone calls. In hindsight , I would rather have the cracked driveway then this comedic joke of what they call a fix. We should have never asked for the repair On the fifth day , while we were expecting them to finish, they ran out of tile, and the garage, and front patio were not complete. What roofing company that has been in business for over thirty years runs out of tile ??? Rookie mistake. We were told they would be back to finish on Tuesday because Monday was Memorial Day. Come Tuesday no one shows up, instead they show up on Wednesday to finish the job. We also have a small section of roofing, maybe two tiles deep over our pop out kitchen window. They worked on this section of the roof and it looked like a small child did the job. (see photos) Unfortunately I didn't see it because they had left without saying they were finished. You would think a roofing company would at least ring your doorbell, and let you know that they are finished, and let you look around to see how it looks.... not JBS they hop in their trucks, and haul out of town. Another call to the supervisor to have them come out and fix this mess over our kitchen window. He sent someone else from his crew that did a much better job, but the flashing where it met the tile was still separated. So I had to call the supervisor again, and he eventually came out and fixed it himself. So in closing, our roof is finished after much poking, prodding, and frustration. Our driveway is ruined, and like I said , I wish we could go back to just having a cracked driveway. We in no way shape, or form could ever recommend this company to anyone. It's literally amateur hour at JBS. The person who actually recommended this company to me will no longer do so.... I urge you all to stay as far away from this company as you can, unless you like to have $20,000 extracted from your pocket for amateur workmanship. Wish there was a Zero star for this review.

We had two other companies examine the issue and both companies wanted to replace a major portion of the roofing over a large area of the house. One company required that solar panels be removed to do the repair driving the cost of the repair to well over $6000. The other company quoted a fair price for a more localized repair but still insisted on replacing very large portion of roofing and also added over $700 work to repair a section of roof that was not currently an issue. We called Jim Brown and Sons for an evaluation. Mark Pedersen came to our home, identified the leak to a very specific and localized area under an eave and he did a repair, on the spot, and would not take any payment. I am impressed to find an honest company like this and will recommend them to all my friends.

When I contacted my insurance company to file a claim for a sewer line break under my manufactured home, they contacted Mike Tedder who immediately called me to make an appointment to assess the damage. He discovered that not only was shoddy repair work done by the plumber I originally hired, he also diagnosed a second sewer line break that the previous plumber charged me for but did not detect/repair. The break was not recent; consequently, there was ample evidence of the break that the original plumber should have detected. Additionally, there was water damage to the sub-floor in the first bathroom. Had Mike not found this and corrected it I would have had a much larger problem! As soon as Mike diagnosed the problems he immediately began the repair work which took several days and on two occasions he continued his work into the evening hours! Mike showed me how he diagnosed the problems and he communicated the repairs at each and every step. Mike is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and dedicated to his work and to his customers. I cannot recommend Mike Tedder highly enough and I will definitely rely on him for any repairs in the future!!!

He gave us two options - replace the existing area or the entire roof. The problem was so significant that we opted to replace the entire roof considering our house was 35 years old. I hired him immediately without getting any other quotes. Once they began it took only 2 1/2 days and the project was completed, Perfectly! They showed up on time, each day. They cleaned up as they went along. I have referred them to several people and they all rave about working with them. Needless to say, I highly recommend Gilbert and his team. They took longer than projected and when it was done my cupboards are a mess. My water line to the fridge leaked and caused mold in my kitchen. I called around and had a few people call, this company came out spoke with my husband called my insurance company and took over. We never had a chance to say yes or no. They came out the next week and removed the cupboards , sort of put up tape and plastic and moved the cupboards to my back patio. They came back a couple days later and finished up the wall. Took the cupboards to their shop and pieced them together. I mean pieced. The lines from the shelves were still in the boxes so they didn't really replace the cupboards. They took off the bottom and the shelves. They didn't line anything up so everything is crooked. The heights don't match to any of the lines. They fixed up what they could sort of and gave a credit to the bill. I just wanted it done and they glued the shelves in and so not much could be done by then. Who glues in shelves. Now a few months later they keep asking me to sign a paper that says the job is done. I signed the paper after the job was done. How many times do I need to sign the same thing. Months later and my cupboards are falling apart. Where they didn't use glue they used tiny tack nails that barely went thru the would. Buyer beware.

We reached out to Go To Services as our 3rd call to get our bathroom remodeled (just a tiny, 6'x9'…read morebathroom), but they ended up being the lowest bidder, and seemingly the most honest. Our bathroom had some mold, but we suspected it was simply surface mold and not black mold; our first two contractors that came out just made the on-the-spot determination: that's black mold, we'll need to tear everything down to the studs, replace everything, etc. Go To was the first to say, "Let's take a look at this." Thankfully, everything tested out just fine. There were a couple hiccups along the way: there was a misunderstanding about the tile pricing, and there was a considerable issue with the people who came in to do the tile work causing damage to my front yard by walking through it, using it to set up equipment, etc., but in the end, that was remedied after I talked to the foreman. The final result was a very beautiful bathroom with extremely well-done tile, paint, and plumbing work. They were very good with communication throughout the process and took care of EVERY issue as soon as it was pointed out. I would definitely use them again.

Lack of respect for the home with issues like damage done to preexisting items and significant paint over spray. Constant miscommunications with who was showing up when. Went through three project managers and still needed to have an outside contractor come in and check all the work daily. Things broken and then hidden. They do the bare minimum and then see how much you are willing to complain. Cracked materials used, damage to stainless steel appliances by resting other metal items on them. Weeks and weeks of waiting to go things ordered. They wasted my own left over materials I gave them to use. Easily the worst situation I have had with a company . The mold mitigation team and Alex in the front office were awesome and lured me into a false sense that they could do the rebuild. They did win in that I finally just had to tell them to get out and have the rest done and a cleaning crew come in. I will be sharing this to all platforms, review sites and the better business bureau. The only advantage I had was they were part of my home insurance so I had to sign off on there work. I did extremely reluctantly. I have extensive documentation of everything. They will not be working with my home insurance company again and I warn anyone else from using them. I went through three project managers and numerous workmen and they were worse then the last.
