The job was done at the specified time frames and they were quick to come out and look at something I thought might be an issue after the job was done. Revamp Roofing was one of three bidders that came to my house to look at some roof damage that was…read morecausing a minor leak in a bedroom ceiling. I received a call back in less than an hour after submitting my request for a quotation. That was very impressive. I believe I got an inspection visit the very next day. The quotation was also received within a day, and on a Saturday at that! Dai Zayas, who I presume is their office person, was very professional and courteous and replied to every one of my inquiries be it by telephone or email. I know that a courteous, professional and maybe even a happy person should be normal for front line people answering telephones or replying to email, but that unfortunately today is not the case. But Dai was all that and more! Ruben was the person who came out and inspected the project. He too was very professional and courteous. He inspected the problem area, took several pictures, which he then showed me on his tablet. It was nice to be able to see where the problem was and learn what could be done to remedy the issue. Ruben's quote offered two options; one a perfectly acceptable "fix" with a warranty, and a second larger scale option that really was more to let me know what it would cost should they discover more damage underneath the shingles as they began the repair. Essentially, the second/larger option spelled out the worst-case scenario, so I would not be surprised after-the-fact. I found this to be very considerate and again, unfortunately not a business practice you will find very often today! However, Ruben was very confident all I would need performed was the "fix" proposal. That turned out to be the case. Ruben, if you are one of the lead people at Revamp, you are setting a great example! Devin, the young man who came out to do the work was yet again, very professional and courteous (are you starting to see a theme here). He spent time prior to starting the work explaining what he planned to do, then upon completion, re-explained what he had done. He also took pictures and showed me every aspect of the work completed. I know I am harping on these types of points, but I just don't encounter enough young people doing their jobs today that act like Devin. He honestly seemed thrilled to be doing what he was doing to earn a living and it came across. I wish more young people would act this way. Nice job Devin! The price was significantly less than the two other bids. I am not the type person who always picks the cheapest price because as the old saying goes, sometimes you get what you pay for! However, between all the 5-star reviews here on Yelp, plus how responsive and courteous both Dai and Ruben were before I agreed to hire them and then Devin on the job, it was an easy choice. Another small point on the prices quoted - and I may be off base here - but as a Scottsdale resident I sometimes feel I get the "Scottsdale" quote from contractors. My home is pretty modest and old and essentially the type structure you would find anywhere in the valley. However, I think that when a Scottsdale address is associated to a bid request, for some reason contractors think they can extract a little bit more. I didn't feel that was the case with Revamp. In closing, I sense that Revamp spends time training people how to act professionally and finding the type people who are trainable. Nice work Revamp - keep it up and you will be around a long time. I wholly endorse Revamp Roofing as a company you can trust and urge you to call them for a bid should you need any roof work. You will not be disappointed.

This is a long overdue review for ATH! They handled two major home projects for us in 2025 in a…read moremidcentury modern condo. This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. We selected JBS Roofing last May after having 10 other contractors come out, and give us a quote…read morefor a new roof. JBS Roofing was not the cheapest of the 10, but they took the time to explain things in every detail. We were told that this would take 4-5 days to complete. It did not. More like 15 days before all of our issues were somewhat straightened out. As it turns out selecting JBS Roofing was the worst decision we ever made, I guess we fell for the sales pitch. Everything seemed to be going fine on day one, and day two as they removed the old roof. On day three no one even showed up, because apparently the equipment to load the new tiles onto the roof was unavailable. We were not informed of this until the following day. No phone call, no text. On the 4th day, on the back side of the roof where it meets the patio, they decided that they would stop one row short with the tile of the roof meeting the patio. What employee thought "hey that looks OK"??? (see pictures) After speaking with the supervisor, they added another row of tile so that it met with where it joined the patio. Also on the fourth day the heavy equipment that they used to load the tiles on the roof put a crack in our driveway. We spoke to the supervisor, and he agreed to get that fixed. The cement company (Blue Steel Builders) came out, and replaced the entire slab of the driveway. We have a texture pattern on our driveway which they tried to match, and the color is so far off, it's unbelievable. Literally like night and day (see pics)... again what employee thought "hey that looks good)??? It's not even a close match. They used chocolate brown when our driveway is sand colored. The cement company has come out several times to try to make it match to no avail, and eventually ghosted us by not returning my phone calls. In hindsight , I would rather have the cracked driveway then this comedic joke of what they call a fix. We should have never asked for the repair On the fifth day , while we were expecting them to finish, they ran out of tile, and the garage, and front patio were not complete. What roofing company that has been in business for over thirty years runs out of tile ??? Rookie mistake. We were told they would be back to finish on Tuesday because Monday was Memorial Day. Come Tuesday no one shows up, instead they show up on Wednesday to finish the job. We also have a small section of roofing, maybe two tiles deep over our pop out kitchen window. They worked on this section of the roof and it looked like a small child did the job. (see photos) Unfortunately I didn't see it because they had left without saying they were finished. You would think a roofing company would at least ring your doorbell, and let you know that they are finished, and let you look around to see how it looks.... not JBS they hop in their trucks, and haul out of town. Another call to the supervisor to have them come out and fix this mess over our kitchen window. He sent someone else from his crew that did a much better job, but the flashing where it met the tile was still separated. So I had to call the supervisor again, and he eventually came out and fixed it himself. So in closing, our roof is finished after much poking, prodding, and frustration. Our driveway is ruined, and like I said , I wish we could go back to just having a cracked driveway. We in no way shape, or form could ever recommend this company to anyone. It's literally amateur hour at JBS. The person who actually recommended this company to me will no longer do so.... I urge you all to stay as far away from this company as you can, unless you like to have $20,000 extracted from your pocket for amateur workmanship. Wish there was a Zero star for this review.

We experienced a minor leak in our 13-year-old home with the leak coming from a very specific area…read moreunder an eave. We had two other companies examine the issue and both companies wanted to replace a major portion of the roofing over a large area of the house. One company required that solar panels be removed to do the repair driving the cost of the repair to well over $6000. The other company quoted a fair price for a more localized repair but still insisted on replacing very large portion of roofing and also added over $700 work to repair a section of roof that was not currently an issue. We called Jim Brown and Sons for an evaluation. Mark Pedersen came to our home, identified the leak to a very specific and localized area under an eave and he did a repair, on the spot, and would not take any payment. I am impressed to find an honest company like this and will recommend them to all my friends.
