The installer made numerous holes in my walls throughout my house, promising that the connections would be fully concealed and barely visible. Instead, he attempted to install everything using large 1-inch gray conduit running along the face of my drywall, all the way down my hallway. These conduits didn't sit flush against the wall and were clearly visible in every area of my home--exactly what I said I did not want. When I expressed how unacceptable this looked, he decided to remove everything but left all the damage behind--holes in the walls, exposed areas, and a mess throughout the house. To make matters worse, there was a week-long delay between when he first made all the holes and when he came back to finish the job, only to leave it unfinished. I was very clear from the beginning that I didn't want anything that looked tacky and would rather not install it at all if it couldn't be properly concealed. Unfortunately, that's exactly what I ended up with--unfinished work, damage to my home, and a lot of frustration.

Alarm went off, I was up and out with baby within a minute. 3 minutes later 5 cop cars. Turned out to be teenagers across the street at golf course messing around and shanked a ball through the window! Had some crazy guy wandering neighborhood and he activated our alarm, cops again within 3 minutes. No one was home at our place. I left work to let the cops in to clear home. Guy was caught a block away. Transient, just going house to house. A few more stories, but never anyone hurt or in serious danger. If we had been, we would have been fine knowing fire, police, paramedics, were in route. We just moved for final time to Tucson, and our Phoenix rep. followed us to make sure we get proper install and are happy with the new system. We have always hard wired in our system, and we did again. Have never had an issue and they will always negotiate monthly fees. Appreciate all they have done, and will continue to do to protect my family.

He said yes. I agreed too have tech come out. He comes out and before doing anything, tells me its going too be $230.00. I said no, thats not what the adt phone rep told me. He implies that he gets this issue alot. I call in too cancel, and speak with an Account "manager" named Mia. She promises me the world, 5 yrs locked in price of 45.00 (lowered from $65.00/month), cover camera fees, cover tech fees, discount on new cameras, no payments for 2 months,extra 10% off. I said no. Do yourself a favor and call your local alarm companies. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! Just know that they can lower the price if they really wanted too but wont until you call in and speak your mind.
