(I accidentally deleted the initial part of this review so I'm re-typing it beset I can) I would like to preface this by stating that the movers were kind and fantastic. Very amicable and easy to work with, even when they hit a snag they kept working to get the job done. The owner of this business has no regard for customer service. He screamed at me and told me to shut the F up. He was claiming that the items for my pickup were larger than quoted. I told him all of the items that are ready for pickup were on the list and he kept screaming that I was quoted 215 CF and I should read my F'ing email to find out the cubic feet (I kept saying that I had no idea what cubic feet were determined because my order confirmation had the list of items I was moving - I don't calculate cubic feet). My first mistake was telling him that I spoke to a woman (who I assumed was named Priscilla because that's who emails were coming from) who I told the dimensions of everything to (racks being 6ft tall x 4ft wide). He then yelled at my saying "you spoke to my deaf assistant?! how did you do that?!" clearly I messed up the name but he was so hung on on that detail that he lost it. His language was foul, he had no desire to rectify the situation. I made have been stern and had a slight attitude, but he was raising the price 2-3x above what I was quoted when there was nothing additional from what I listed to his sales rep. When he told me to stfu and listen I did and he just repeated the same information about it being 200cf and wouldn't let that go (as if I said to his team "yes 200cf sounds about right".) I did not do that math, I just provided information on what was moving as per the attached order confirmation and he would not hear it. He's upset that I was mad. Yes I was mad, I got approval for the quote from my supervisor and he's trying to upcharge me 2-3x by claiming that there is more in the move than what I was quoted?! Double check your quote my friend and you'll see it's all accurate. He decided to cancel the move even though his employees were working. He then refused to speak with me even when I explained to his sales manager that the guys can fit everything on the van when they initially thought it would be two trips. His sales manager said he couldn't go against his boss, but handing the phone to him to deal with an upset customer is not going against him, it's resolving an issue. The owner acted as if I insulted his family or spoke badly about his business when I just kept saying that everything that we are moving is as per the quote. I had initially assumed he had a bad day, but I highly doubt that at this point. Even if I'm mad or giving attitude, you have no right to curse at someone like that as a business owner. UPDATE: I am replying to the ridiculous response I got from the owner of this business. His sub-par handling of the situation and lack of regard for customers is insane. Yes I was mad, mad that I was told I would be charged double (and then triple) when there is nothing pictured for pickup outside of this list that was on my order confirmation. I will not allow you to pretend that I did anything wrong. Maybe I should have stayed more calm, however I did not scream at you. I did not tell you to shut the f&!k up and f&!king listen. You were a complete jerk and you have no regard for customer service. I did not calculate the cubic feet on this order, someone from your team did. All of the items listed on my order confirmation were ready to be moved as planned. I was not asking for additional service outside of what I paid for because I was quoted the price based on what I was moving (and what is visible in the picture). I told him it was ridiculous to charge me double when I provided all of the information and it is clearly visible on the order confirmation as pictured below. Instead he tells me I'm a f*$king idiot. Admit that someone did something wrong on your team, mistakes happen, but do not pretend it's out of your hands and act like we can't find a resolution. Don't curse at me as if I did anything that remotely justified this behavior. His movers were fantastic and realized that they could fit everything while he was screaming at me like a child. They then unfortunately had to unload everything (essentially working double) because he would not speak to me like an adult. Teenagers have more respect than this man. He spoke over me every time I tried to clarify my perspective and of course in that process I spoke over him trying to get my words out. Just because a customer is upset doesn't mean you can throw a hissy fit. Yes it's your business, but it's poor business. I'm glad you said you would pay those employees because they deserve it. They were so kind to me, unlike you. It seems like this wasn't a bad day for you, rather this is your attitude in general and that's really a shame because your team is great. COVID rules have been relaxed now but the team was masked for the move which we appreciated. The team came ready to get the job done and was very efficient in planning their strategy for loading the truck. The problem was us and the weather all of which the team took with good humor and understanding. We had lived in the same apartment for over 40 years and did not fully grasp the amount of stuff we had accumulated or how it was to be organized for the move. The team was ready for the challenge and did a great job! If the weather hadn't thrown in a curve ball we could have had a very smooth move. read more

(1) They give a window that they will show up in. If you have to reserve and elevator this makes is really hard to reserve a concrete time for the elevator. In my case the guys showed up 2.5 hours into the 3 hour window, and they only started contacting me 30 mins before they arrived even though the customer service person told me the dispatcher and/or drivers would reach out to me within a couple of minutes. (2) My movers disappeared for a little more than an hour after we loaded up their truck. I took a cab over and didn't hear from them for an hour before they showed up. I just ended up waiting at my new place for an hour without any heads up. (3) The movers said that my stuff was a little more than they expected and asked for a little extra in cash for the move on addition to the tip. This is very sketchy. If it's extra they should go through the office and send me another invoice. (4) The movers lost some of my stuff. I literally saw them load it on the sprinter van and the "customer service" rep emailed me saying it probably wasn't moved because it wasn't on the moving inventory. BUYER BEWARE!! Do not use these guys!!!!. Rabbit stored and shipped my storage unit from New York to Austin and lost my $2,700 Arhaus rug. I called Rabbit as soon as I knew it was missing and they told me I had to email them. So I emailed them requesting them to search for the rug as I believe (and still do) it was either left behind in my unit by mistake or accidentally stored in someone else's unit (Note: Rabbit's storage service isn't "self storage" i.e. you don't have access to your unit). Rabbit promptly replied back to my email that they couldn't find my rug and to essentially fuck off. They couldn't even bother to return my phone calls or speak to me on the phone. I moved in February 2020 and was only moving two floors up from my current place. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I submitted a request for a quote online and Nathan called me less than five minutes later. He was very helpful and responsive booking the move. I also have to give a shout out to Bonnie, who put up with me when I needed a Certificate of Insurance at the last second (hadn't realized I needed one initially, oops) and was very helpful when I was freaking out and not being the easiest customer. My movers were Benny and Alex and they were great. They waited when I was running late and assembled and disassembled my giant wardrobe (IKEA Pax wardrobe for those familiar) without issue. They were polite and struck the magic balance of working quickly without sacrificing quality. I was moving two floors and they even helped carry up some odds and ends. I'd rebook in a heartbeat. We have used Rabbit three times. Our second move was from VT to NY during the pandemic. Recently, we moved from Brooklyn to Manhattan. During the latter move, with the move nearly over, we are told there's a $450 overage charge for a "long push". They offered no explanation of how they define or calculate the distance. Nemo called and said he gets the charge amount by "punching in the numbers." When I ask him how he "gets the numbers" he said he got it from the head mover. Yet. Nothing was measured. No clear explanation. They had the option to have us move our car (as we offered) to fit their truck so they could be closer. They didn't because they said they already started. Had they mentioned they would charge us an additional $450 we would have made them move closer and called management. Additionally, they told us we had stuff that wasn't on the list meanwhile I called three days prior to the move to add items AND I paid an extra $200 for the added items. They had items on there that I didn't list that also needed to be removed because they used our original so list from the previous move. To us, they seemed to create the overage charge out of anger. At one point I was told "Peloton" wasn't on the list. I pointed out where it said exercise bike (their stock option on the site) and they then said they don't speak English well. When I spoke with Nemo on the phone he said he's going by what the lead mover was telling him--the one who told us he didn't understand what we was on the list. It was confusing and not necessary during an 8 hour move with our twin toddlers in tow. We ended up paying the $450 out of exasperation as they said they would hold the rest of our stuff. Overall, this move cost more than our move back from VT, 6 hours away. I am placing a charge dispute with my credit card. **Update: they said they have no record of me as a customer yet they emailed me at midnight to follow up. Interesting. read more

Buckle in, because this is a long review. Rabbit Movers is run by CEO Anthony Collazo, who was incompetent, unethical, lied to me and several other people during the moving process, and verbally abused me. IF YOU CHOOSE TO HIRE THIS COMPANY, YOU DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK. Mine is not the only experience of this nature and there are reviews to prove it. Three major incidents occurred during my move: (1) the date of my move was changed without my consent; (2) the moving truck was not dropped off at the fumigator's as arranged; (3) I was repeatedly threatened with my belongings being left on the street, leaving me with the choice between that fate and having my items loaded into my storage unit without being fumigated and subsequently having to arrange for another moving company to retrieve the items so they could be fumigated (at my own expense, of course). (1) My move was scheduled for 7/29/2022 between 9-11 am. ALL of my official paperwork states this. I received an unofficial email in a long chain of emails on 7/24 stating my move had been converted from a 2-day to a 3-day move and the movers would be coming on the 28th between 1-4 pm to pre-pack my belongings. I did not see this email and did not respond to it to confirm the change in plans. No one followed up with me and a final official confirmation email sent on 7/27 stated my move was taking place on the 29th at 9-11 am. One would think such an important change of plans would deserve its own official email in the first place. And yet, when movers arrived at 5 pm on the 28th and I was unprepared for them, Mr. Collazo yelled at me over the phone, telling me I was an inconvenience and inconsiderate and that he didn't have to deal with me. He repeatedly threatened to cancel my move. When I requested that he stop yelling at me, he yelled, "I'm not yelling at you." I'm a psychotherapist specializing in trauma. I know verbal abuse when I see (or in this case hear) it. That went on for about 20 minutes. He made me pay a $250 rescheduling fee even though I'd never approved the movers coming on the 28th in the first place, and then hit me with another couple hundred dollars in fees because he said the move would now take 15 hours. Wouldn't it have taken that long to begin with? I want to point out that the movers themselves were amazing throughout this time and the entire move. They were professional, kind, understanding, efficient, and just overall a pleasure to work with. Tori was especially amazing. After everything was done, I contacted Chewy, the very kind person who'd been in charge of arranging my move, to alert him to what had taken place. I didn't know I'd spoken with the CEO of the company. Chewy forwarded my email to Mr. Collazo and I received yet more abuse via email. (2) & (3) The day of the move, my belongings were set up to be fumigated because there were cockroaches in my awful old apartment. Rabbit Movers referred me to a wonderful company they've worked with many times in the past and Chewy collaborated with the owner of the company to set everything up. Tori, the head mover, spoke with the owner of the fumigation company the day of the move so he would know exactly where to park the truck. For some reason that's far beyond my comprehension, management then told him to bring the truck back to their lot instead of taking it to the fumigator's lot. They lied and told him they were in communication with the fumigator. Meanwhile, the fumigator and his staff waited for the truck for 3.5 hours. I tried calling Rabbit Movers five time and no one answered, so I called Tori and he texted management, who lied and told him the fumigation was taking place at their lot and that they'd just spoken to me. The fumigation team had been sent home at that point and their operation is set up to take place only on site. Management at Rabbit Movers certainly at not spoken with me. As I was writing an email to Rabbit Movers to sort through everything, Cc'ing the fumigator, I received an email from them telling me to stop threatening their movers (????), to call the office if I needed something (um, I did!), that they'd been in contact with the fumigator all day (another lie), and that they would not keep my belongings another night (the only way for fumigation to take place). In fact, the email stated this: "even if we have to unload on the sidewalk we will unload on the sidewalk we are not keeping your items more than tonight." Similar threats were made numerous times. I discovered they'd booked another move for noon on Saturday after having already booked my move, which is doubtless the reason for the last-minute sneak change in scheduling and the reason they didn't want to keep my things in their truck overnight. A more professional service would never have done such a thing in the first place; the least Rabbit Movers could have done was accounted for their (multiple) errors by taking care of my things and using a different truck for the other move. I used Rabbit Moving & Storage for a long distance move from New York City to Seattle, with one month storage between loading and unloading. The person who took my case was friendly and explained in details how would the process work, and worked with me patiently to update quote, add and remove items as pick up date approaches. When I ask about tipping - do I need to tip both the pick up crew and long distance crew 15% of the total moving fee - the person recommended that I tip the pick up crew more. On the day of picking up, our movers were friendly and helpful. There was no trouble with storing our stuff at their place either. However, one thing no one at Rabbit Moving was able to or cared to inform me was that, Rabbit Moving did not have their own long distance moving department. Our actual long distance moving part was outsourced to Dumbo Moving without our knowledge or permission. We were only made aware of it when our household goods were on the road. Once the handover happens Rabbit pretty much has little ability to guarantee service quality, and the service quality after the handover was terrible. This also explains why it was recommended to me by the Rabbit person that we tip more to the pick up crew, which is their own crew, not the long distance crew, which is the dumbo crew. In my opinion, this is not a very honest way of advertising your service, and you should really consult your customers whether or not it is ok to outsource your service before just doing it. read more

AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS. They broke a $350 shelf (one of two in a matching set) and offered $125 for it. When I said that was unacceptable and said it would cost them a bad review online he punished me by reducing the amount to $60. Other furniture was scratched. The movers took the broken shelf instead of leaving it with me claiming that was "policy" Movers also promised to help with removing some junk and then didn't (blocked my number) and the owner Anthony said it wasn't his problem and to "file a police report" Then when I said I wanted to meet him he invited me to crash one of his employee's MEMORIAL SERVICE!!! Movers are bad and not careful. Owner is horrible and cruel. DO NOT USE RABBIT MOVERS. They will break and take your things and then tell you to file a police report. TOTAL SCAM. UPDATE: He says I threatened his employee but he was the one who told me to file a police report against him instead of paying for the shelf they broke and took with them. they mention purchasing additional insurance... what he doesn't mention is there is a $500 deductible so even if I DID buy their insurance they would not have paid for the damage. I never write reviews--good or bad. So writing this review means it's something I feel very strongly about and something I think the public should know. Short version: the owner of this company is extremely rude, doesn't care a bit about the customer, SCREAMED at me, CUSSED at me, and canceled my move without asking for my permission. He was incredibly disrespectful, very unprofessional, and unbelievably rude. He hung up on me and wouldn't even let me speak. I was blown away at how he handled himself, my situation, and how he addressed me. Long version: Setting up my move with Rabbit Movers was great and easy. They were willing to match the price I received from a competitor. They were communicative and everything. I scheduled my move for June 1 about three weeks in advance. Unfortunately, a very difficult tenant refused to move out of my new home when she was supposed to on May 31. I found out this ON May 31. So I reached out to Rabbit Movers as soon as I found out the tenant was refusing to move until June 1 and asked if it would be possible to change the date or the time of the move. Rabbit Movers said no problem. I let them know as soon as I could when we needed to change it and I paid the change fee without question. The move was supposed to be confirmed for the afternoon of June 1. Then I got a call from a very irate man who said he was the owner of the company yelling at me for wanting to change the move last minute. I tried to tell him what happened, but he did not care. He showed zero interest in being understanding and didn't care one bit about my problem. He yelled over me, CUSSED at me, SCREAMED at me. He wouldn't let me say a word. I would've kept the move at the original time and just dealt with the tenant, but the owner wouldn't even let me do that. He just canceled the entire thing without asking me if we could keep it the same time. Luckily he did refund me the change fee and the move. But he did not refund me the deposit I gave, even though I was not the one who canceled the service. I was blown away at his rudeness and unprofessionalism. This is not how an owner of a company should behave. He honestly acted like a child. I will NEVER EVER use their service and I highly recommend you stay away from them too. I completely understand how last minute changes may be an issue, but one: Rabbit Movers communicated to me that it wouldn't be an issue and two: the owner had no right to speak to me the way he did. Look elsewhere for your moving needs. The owner here does not deserve one bit of business until he learns customer service and learns how to speak to paying customers even IF he can't provide what they're asking for. UPDATE: Despite what Anthony states in his reply to my review, I spoke to someone at Rabbit Movers around 4:30 who told me that we COULD change the move--NO PROBLEM. If it was a problem then I wouldn't have even been given the option to pay the $250 change fee. Please see attached email that Anthony sent to me acknowledging his own employees' mistake. Anthony was rude to me right from the beginning when he called me. I was not rude to him one bit. Like I said, he wouldn't let me say anything because he was too busy screaming at me and telling me he didn't care about my problem and that the move was canceled. Then he just hung up on me. He didn't even apologize for his employee's mistakes and nor did he care to. And here he is telling lies about my energy and not accepting any responsibility for his poor attitude or his employees' mistakes which are made evident in my attachment. Really poor leadership for a company. Also, as a leader of a company you don't match the energy of a customer. You go above and beyond to be of service even if you can't provide service. Avoid at all costs - would have done zero stars if an option. We had a horrible experience with this company. Extensive damage, furniture wasn't wrapped, items were lost, and the manager was offensive on the phone when I called to arrange to have the rest of the items moved that they weren't able to get to after showing up 5 hours late for the scheduled pack up day. They weren't even able to get our sofa out and we had to hire another moving company to do it (the other movers had it out in 10 minutes - lol). I've moved 6 times in NYC and never had such a traumatic experience. Don't be fooled by the good reviews, it's not worth the risk of getting one of their inexperianced teams - company not consistent. After my July 2021 move, I was told Rabbit Movers is under new ownership -- as of June 2020. My latest experience now suddenly made much more sense. Transparency, precision, and customer service used to be priorities for this company. It had been a long time since I last used them but even a handful of years ago when they weren't doing long distance moves, they were still thoughtful in their guidance. That seems to have been lost under new ownership. Although the movers don't sell you the package, they are made on "commission" -- as the movers and office told me. So on move-in day, you'll likely be given an overage charge with two options: have the office charge you in full Or, have the movers tell you they work on commission and expect a 20% tip. so they can add the incremental charge percentage as a cash addition to the 20% tip they're expecting you to pay. Had a nightmare for them and me when they couldn't figure out how to remove an AC so they left it and had to do the move without AC during a heatwave. Had to spend $150 later that night for a hardware store employee to remove it in 5 minutes and deliver/install it. 5-star down to 2-star. read more

Read the negative reviews. Seems like they hire out some crews that are quite awful. Our first move with them five years ago was amazing. Our more recent move with them was the worst move we've had. Pros: Most of my stuff made it to my new address relatively quickly. Cons: 1. I had booked a moving window between 1 and 4 pm, because I needed to pack some last minute things since I was travelling the week before (I was delayed further due to a family emergency and my husband had to meet the movers, and was hectically trying to get the rest of my things together). They showed up at around 10:30 am. When I complained about the fact, the CEO responded with a sarcastic apology like I should be grateful they showed up at all. The thing is if I wanted an earlier pick up window, I would have booked one. I'm not really sure why they offer that as an option when they seem to view time as a fluid concept etc and will show up when they want to anyway. This was just the start of a series of unfortunate events. 2. The building manager called me during the move because the superintendent saw the movers break the glass in the building door (photo attached). It was taken out of my deposit. For reference, I was charged $567 for the move and the door repairs cost more than $700, so there goes my attempt to save money while moving. 3. I started a claim and I was told to provide photos before damage and a recent inspection report. I suppose it was my mistake for not documenting every corner of my building entrance before booking Rabbit movers, just in case they damage the building. I had photos but could not obtain an inspection report from the building management blatantly stating that the door was intact (I'm not sure if that's even something they'd normally have lying around..) and so I was reimbursed only $200 by Rabbit movers for my 'troubles' because I couldn't really prove it was them (even though the door was intact prior to their arrival..such a mystery). It was mildly insulting but I was getting sick of stressing myself over this at this point and I do not have time to go to small claims court, so I agreed to the reimbursement. Maybe if they hadn't been talking on their cellphones so much as noted by husband, they would have noticed the structures they sorta had to avoid destroying. 4. I wish it ended there but over the next couple of weeks, I noticed things damaged and/or missing. They took apart one of my sofas to facilitate moving but unfortunately forgot one of the legs *somewhere*, so to the trash it went. Attachments to my baker's stand (also taken apart by the movers) were missing rendering it useless. I was also missing a box containing mementos from my wedding, which of course are irreplaceable. So bottom line: they are affordable, they have a decent cancellation policy, and they will move your stuff quickly. However, don't get too attached to the arrival window, document every single structure they might be around, lest they damage it, take apart your own furniture yourself or just plan on buying new stuff because that might actually be cheaper in the end. Also, don't leave your building/house before they do to make sure that they don't actually leave anything behind and count your boxes/containers when they arrive. ETA: Would *love* to see this imaginary exchange where the movers informed the customers (us) of the damage before the move started because I could have used that to not have my deposit slashed in half by my building management. Too bad it doesn't exist. On the other hand, I would be happy to update the review with the entire email exchange that does not once mention the movers noting the damage before the move started or that they informed the company and/or us of these damages before starting the move. read more

Do not use this company. They broke my table and refuse to reimburse me for the entire item even though it can still be purchased at west elm. My movers smelled like Marijuana and bumped boxes into my freshly painted walls. They did not take their shoes off and they were not careful. The table is made of stone and they just threw it in the truck without wrapping it. The top of the table completely snapped off and this company refuses to replace it. I will never recommend this company to anyone. Do not use them. The mover mentioned he didn't even work for the company, he was just covering for his brother. We moved with Rabbit Moving & Storage at the end of January. The movers took an irreplaceable family heirloom. It was returned after we sent video footage from the building showing they had taken it. It would have been a case of he said/she said without the footage. Rabbit management said the movers no longer work for them. It was $1392 to move a one bedroom apartment. HORRIBLE! Rabbit movers made my cross country move agonizing every step of the way. They are crooks. The worst was the movers who moved me out of my apartment in Brooklyn, they were rude, disrespectful, and WOULD NOT KEEP THEIR MASKS ON no matter how many times I asked. They shoved my neighbor out of the way, left stuff on the stairs for my neighbors to trip over, complained to me the entire time, and spent hours on their phones sitting around in my apartment. The worst of all was when I gave them each $100 tip because it was hard work, the guy basically yelled at me until I gave them $300. When I filed a complaint with the company I was not given any money back and got nothing more than an apology. They dinged most of my furniture, the boxes marked fragile were mangled. They kept trying to charge me more than we agreed upon. Since I paid for storage too there were multiple payments to be made, I had to redo all of their math each time and when I asked why they were asking me for an extra $600 she told me she hit the wrong button. Every step of the way I felt as though they were trying to squeeze an extra dollar out of me at any cost. When I called to ask about when my things would be delivered. The guy over the phone said "I don't know and I don't really care when it leaves the warehouse". The guy who delivered my belongings was professional and wore a mask but he was by himself to unload a two bedroom apartment and two couches. I don't know how he did it by himself! Had them move for me the other day and let me tell you, it was quite the experience. The moving guys moved stuff into the middle of the sidewalk blocking pedestrians. My now old neighbors had issues with it and a few words were exchanged. One of the moving guys told an old woman to "shut the f**k up". He then proceeded to slam garbage into the garbage area and unleash a lace of profanities towards the neighborhood people. He got loud and tried fighting someone in the street. He chased down a young man who was walking away from the situation and continued to just chirp chirp chirp before trying to chase this guy down. He of course did nothing and dropped his tough guy act once the other guy didn't seemed to intimidated by his 6'2 145 pound frame. I have never seen a more unprofessional system like that before. Escalating a situation for what? I understand you just move boxes for a living and you have nothing to lose but at the end of the days it's a job and you should be somewhat professional. I give this place a 0 out of 0 stars and would never ever recommend this place to anyone. Also the manager Hugo is a complete jerk and impossible to work with. Little update. Spoke to Hugo. I used Rabbit Moving & Storage in the past and was interested in using them again for my upcoming move. Long story short in less than 12 hours after receiving the first quote for $746.11- I get another quote from Zadie and Anthony telling me the new price is going to be $1286.00. With the explanation for the increase it being like "Uber or hotels". I guess there is surge pricing in moving. Since nothing on the quote changed with the same exact time, items and locations being reflected in both quotes. I just found it incredibly odd- and the how much the cost inflated is a bit shocking. read more

We had a great experience with our movers - Steve & Jonathan! Super nice, efficient guys. This is the second time that I have used Rabbit Moving and both experiences have been wonderful. We moved from an elevator building to the second floor of a brownstone. Steve has clearly done this many times. He is both fast and thorough. I think he managed to securely wrap up our giant couch in about 90 seconds flat. They really did a great job. Their pricing is also extremely reasonable. Highly recommend. read more

Moving. It is an ugly word. Why. It is hard work. Very hard work for individuals who are not familiar with methods and techniques of moving. After one do it yourself job 20 years ago; never again, Fast forward to present; Rabbit Movers to the job. Let me get to the point; these guys are good; very good. If you are moving in the general area of NYC, Rabbit Movers are the BEST. I have heard all the horror stories of moving. Everyone has heard them. So, I certainly did my homework and called 4 places for quotes and reviews. Selected Rabbit Movers based on price and contact with service rep over the phone. I think his name was "Serg"; can't remember; we moved in Sept of 2015. He was very helpful and dealt with my 3 or 4 updates after my initial contact. The way these guys work is by the client given them a list of items to be moved. So be ready with a detail list of all bags, boxes, furniture, racks, etc. Make sure you have dimensions: small, medium, large and x-large. LxWxH sizes for tables, furniture, etc. They plug it into a formula and bang you have a "quote". I called a few times after my initial quote to update and no issues. Service rep was receptive and helpful. Now the day of the move. Guys text me in the morning with ETA. They updated me with several texts due to traffic conditions. While they were 40 minutes late. I factor in lateness when I arranged moving date and time. Like I said, I did my homework in planning. The lead guy gave me a detail explanation of the procedure. How long it would take? Extra charges if we went over the estimated quote within reason? Paperwork? Insurance info? Etc? Everything mention seem reasonable and in order. By the way I requested a three man team since I lived on the 4th floor walk up. The guys had their "game plan" together. Team leader told me 4 hours or so. Guess what it was within 15 minutes of quote. WOW. They had a system of bringing things down and loading the truck. I was amazed in how fast the job was done. I guess the easy part was unloading since they had the truck empty within 70 minutes or so. The guys were pros. They wrapped items as needed. I had no damage at all. Payment in full 72 hour or so before move. Credit Cards. TIPS: 1. Be ready. Have everything packed and set to go. Makes for an easy move. 2. Have water, Gatorade, soda, etc for the guys to drink. Ask them. Moving is hard work. 3. Buy them lunch. Don't be cheap. They where very appreciative. 4. Factor in a tip in your moving budget. They say 15 to 20 percent of quote. That seem very low. Gave the guys $100 each. Wife and I were very happy. 5. Plan. Plan. Plan. Alternate side of the street parking. Save parking in front of building. 6. Move in the middle of the month; CHEAPER. Rabbit Movers did a great job. I had no issues what so ever. There was no damage. They were on quote. Plenty of communication. They were fast; very fast. Rabbit Movers helped me and my wife move into our new apartment with real speed and efficiency at every stage of the process. The three-man team (Nick, Nick and Philip) were wonderful, maintaining a mood of pleasantly cheerful professionalism despite a much greater volume of materials to handle than we had originally estimated. They worked hard and fast, in no way fazed by the late afternoon deadline imposed by our new building's management. I cannot speak highly enough of them, nor of another Rabbit team who came by the following day to shift some furniture into storage for us. Nick and Marco were great today. We were bringing a bunch of items to a storage locker. The move was quick and painless and they were very helpful: first they hauled our boxes away quickly into their truck, then they helped move a few pieces of furniture around the space. Lastly, when we got to the storage unit, they expertly fit everything into the cabinet, quickly. They also did the best they could with timing, coming from an earlier job - our window was 1pm-4pm and they texted us as they got closer to the apartment. read more

Rabbit moved us out, stored our funiture & stuff, and moved us back in. First, an estimator visited and surveyed the house. We got a price. Then, DURING the move-out, we got a call about upping the cost because There we more stairs than they budgeted for. I'd send them away but it was too late, they had us. The move out team packed furniture and art (we packed the rest)- a so-so job, but was efficient overall. The move back team was a ****** awful bunch. They were disorganized, Their foreman was an idiot, they were understaffed, did not have the muscle to carry much, smoked pot while doing it, and left funiture lying down on the sidewalk for an hour becuase they could not figure out the process.
