I thought some of the prices were high however signs throughout the location indicate prices are negotiable. Staff was friendly and greeted everyone as they entered. There is a scavenger hunt with a prize if you find all the items. You can even buy your beer as you browse. I am sure some people spend hours here. There is limited parking along the side of the building on the street. I am not a thrifter but it was fun to browse Oddballs.

They have a little bit of everything -- vintage items mixed into collectibles and actual antiques. A bit of furniture, some clothes; a nice selection of jewelry; a few books and magazines; but a lot of China, bric a brac, and household items. Like everywhere else, it pays to know what the market values are. And I always like checking the current prices being charged for things I grew up with. I did wind up buying a lovely bracelet here. If you are looking for couture, high end, handbag heaven then this 2,000 sq. foot store is it. They specializes in bags with names like Burberry, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Gucci, Prada, Valentino, and Fendi. Everything is guaranteed to be authentic. The have new and pre owned bags. On the day I visited a new $6,000, caviar navy Chanel bag was being photographed and uploaded to the stores Instagram. A Yelp check in will net you a coupon for $75 off of a Chanel or a Louis Vuitton bag, It's definitely one of the highest check in offers I have ever seen. In addition to purses they also sell clothing, shoes, and jewelry. This is not your average thrift store, a pre owned handbag can still sell here for $1,000 but they had a few bags in the $200 range. There was even a clearance table with a selection of bags on it. At any given time they have 400 bags in stock to chose from. If you have a high end designer bag they will purchase yours too if you are interested in selling. During my visit I got a chance to chat with the owner Sandra who is an absolute sweetheart. She answered all my questions and let me take all the pictures I wanted. She even let me touch the $6,000 Chanel bag. If the bag is a consignment piece Sandra can't lower the price but if it is one of her bags she will work with you. It doesn't hurt to ask. You get a certificate of authenticity with your purchase so you can rest assured you are getting the real deal. Ultimately I didn't buy anything. If I have an extra grand to kick around I want the I Phone 11 pro but if money were no object, I would have a piece of arm candy from here.

It's a high end, classy consignment shop that is perfect for the Bocaite or wealthy female tourist looking for something else expensive to wear -- lots of clothes, shoes, and jewelry plus purses, etc. -- but not as expensive as something that would be full retail. Prices here are not cheap nor inexpensive, but quite a lot of the items are of high quality or recognizable label to begin with. Definitely not the place to come if your main thrust is to find a bargain. If you realize this, you'll know whether this is the right place for you or not.

The shop was packed to the hilt with nostalgic items which instantly rekindled childhood memories. Most would refer to this little shop as "Cute" but it was more like "Cool as Heck". Discussed action figures and comic books with the clerk. Aside from a Chucky doll wearing a Florida Panther jersey and some old records, there was a vintage Coca Cola vending machine and a matching bench which instantly absorbed my attention, but sadly not for sale. I enjoyed peeking through their large room and smaller back rooms of furniture, small appliances, household items, books, clothes, art, and accessories. They sell vintage and antique items with some modern things thrown in. My favorite area was the adorable kitchen room. You could practically see a grandma standing there baking a pie. If had enough space, I would have scooped up those sweet ceramic vegetable trinket boxes. Everything was actively arranged and clearly priced. Take your time and look closely. There are a lot of cool things to see and prices can be negotiated. The Flip Side has another store in Ft. Lauderdale on Cypress Creek Road in Ft. Lauderdale. Sometimes they aren't there so just call before you come down. The two rooms of the store are filled with an eclectic mix of stuff like jewelry, instruments, clothing, home items, and collectibles. I was interested in the art but it was jammed so tightly in the shelf I couldn't really see it. I think the most unusual item I saw was a ship's porthole. I heard the owners son tell a customer that they had even more things in the back and to come again when his father was back from his fishing trip. If you are looking for something specific it is probably just best to ask them about it. I didn't find anything but I had fun looking. The wife who was working was very sweet. Inventory changes based on what they purchase so you can check in to see new things.

They were in the process of rearranging items and shelves, so it was pretty hard to navigate. We did try to see what we could while there. In the back of the store are racks of clothing. You had to squeeze between the racks to see anything. And on the racks the clothing is jammed together. They may have some bargains here. They have a bit of everything -- especially bric a brac -- and anything else you can think of. But it is challenging. Prices seemed reasonable. So come with patience and if you're looking for something specific, ask the staff so they can put you in the right direction.

It is next to…read morethe Presidente supermarket in the Towne Shoppes of Margate along 441 before Sample Rd if you are heading north. According to their website and name they donate proceeds to veterans. How much or what charities it does not specify. They accept your donations or you can shop their store. The inside is a bit cramped but I am convinced you can find gems if you really look. I quickly spotted some vintage Crestone Buttertree stoneware plates from Japan that have become very popular on Ebay and with collectors. They also had a few pieces of furniture, books, collectibles, household goods, toys, and a lot of clothing towards the back of the store. Prices on the few items I checked seemed very reasonable. There is a Family Thrift, Women in Distress, and Goodwill nearby so with this store you can have a nice little thrift outing. Thrifting helps the planet by reducing and reusing while also saving you money. In in this case it is helping veterans too.
