When we got to the location I was a little puzzled because it's just an office building. Nothing to indicate that there is a cafe inside. Well if you just go right in and head towards the back, there is indeed a sandwich stand/cafe. The people working there are super nice and accommodating. I ordered the Pesto Chicken Wrap, and I was very happy with it. Good quality, nice and healthy, and they actually stuff it pretty well so I was full from it. I feel like most places really skimp on their wraps for some reason, but not here. And prices were very reasonable. I'll drop in again if I'm in the area for sure.

It's two very sweet welcoming people behind the counter and working hard. He let me know there will be a short wait which is no problem as it's a small little shop and looked busy. Food looks so amazing and the portions are great for the pricing, really happy i decided to stop by. So greatful and welcoming, didn't up charge me for adding pesto into my wrap which was sweet. Lots of workers coming to pick up their lunches from them which is always a good sign. Hard workers moving around fast and trying their best. Can't wait to taste my wrap and read a good book.

I was pleasantly surprised by their unique take on a lot of items. I'm actually pretty surprised they're doing well out here. It's a small shop and there was one person running the whole place when we stopped in. She was taking orders, making drinks, and getting everything out herself. Maybe I'm just an antique, but at a small independent business like this, I don't expect the same scripted greetings and customer-service theater you get from a giant chain. She was busy, efficient, and got our order out without an issue. That's good service in my book. The menu is genuinely interesting, too. You can tell they're trying to do something different rather than serving the same recycled stuff you can find every few blocks. Everything we tried was good, and the kids were happy, which is ultimately why I stopped in. Small businesses like this are operating on razor-thin margins, especially in an area dominated by chains, so I appreciate finding a place willing to take a chance and bring something different to the neighborhood wether they deserve it or not. I'll happily come back and hope other people give them a shot too.

My initial visit I ordered from their "vintage" menu. I got Erik's B.L.A.S.T. with bacon, Arcadian lettuce, avocado, clover sprouts, Secret Goo and tomato on toasted sourdough. They accidentally forgot the clover sprouts on my order. I love sprouts, so I was a bit disappointed when I realized they were missing. However the sandwich was great so it didn't ruin the meal. I loved their special tuna sandwich, called the Ocean Avenue, which was a delicious concoction. Made with tuna salad, cucumbers, onions, tomatoes, clover sprouts, and sweet hot mustard on swirl rye bread. The ingredients were all fresh & tasty. Another winner I just consumed was the Ciao Down, made with the softest Dutch Crunch I've ever eaten. I appreciated having the roof of my mouth intact! The combination of ingredients (salami, turkey, Swiss, tomato, onions, clover sprouts, basil pesto) gave me salty, vinegary, sour, and savory, with just a mild spicy kick from the hot cherry peppers. Whatever you do, don't skip the carrot cake! It is the best carrot cake I've ever had. I actually wondered if they outsourced it, but it turns out it's a proprietary family recipe. Made with carrots, pineapples, cream cheese frosting, and walnuts. It tastes homemade and perfectly balanced.

I've been here a few times prior and the food is consistently good. We were greeted and seated right away. Their chips came out hot and fresh, and I have to mention the salsa because it is so good. It has a slight kick to it and tastes homemade, which makes it even better! We snacked on a few baskets of chips while waiting for our food. I ordered the carne asada and it was honestly 10/10. The meat was fresh, tender, and full of flavor. The cilantro rice was also really tasty. My husband got the taco salad with carnitas and said it was great. The portion sizes are very generous! Such a good dinner and we will definitely be back!

I've been here once before and wasn't really impressed, but figured I'd give it another shot and see if it hit different this time. Honestly... it didn't. I had the chicken tacos and my cousin went with the menudo with hominy. Nothing was bad, it just didn't really stand out either. Kind of one of those meals where you eat it and forget about it on the drive home. You can tell they're trying, and I respect that, it just didn't come together for me. That said, service was great and the company was even better, so the experience itself wasn't a loss. But for the same price, we can get so much more at places like Oriental Market and just as delicious to satisfy our craving for Filipino food. Parking was easy with plenty of spaces out front, service was great and friendly. Seating space? Extremely limited, especially if you have a party of 5 or more. Best to order for takeout food which brings me to my main point - if I have to order Filipino takeout because of extremely limited seating, I'd rather simply get a la carte elsewhere and pay a lot less or hit up Rocklin area where there are restaurants that serve fantastic boba drinks with fantastic Filipino dishes for much more affordable prices! Is the food incredible? Yes! Will it satisfy your craving for Filipino food? Absolutely! Would I return? No, I wouldn't, to be perfectly honest. Regardless, I feel it's worth a try if you haven't yet but just be mindful of the highs and lows. It's not all great, but it's not all bad. Mediocre and average, at the very least, given all factors.
