    Nice portions.

I enjoy this place so much. I had it the first time a couple months ago and I went like once a week for another couple months now. I always get the pho or the vermicelli noodles with beef. They give good portions and very quick to serve it to you. I will still continue going there.

Yelp and/or Google review = Free boba drink. Slow travel day today, but you know that if you are following... Quality/Quantity - My daughter craved a vermicelli bowl, so here we are. She got the pork vermicelli bowl and actually finished it. Decent/generous portions; I was surprised and impressed she finished. Grilled Chicken Banh Mi - Got my usual healthy option. I only ate half, and my wife ate the other half. Yes, we are light eaters. Plus I do not like to overeat while traveling. And Jasmine Boba Tea to wash it all down. BTW, with a Yelp and/or Google review, you get a free boba tea. We did one of each review. :) Food is consistently good, thank you. We used to come here so often, but I have been back to my In N Out while traveling, so we have not been here in a while. Good to be back. Atmosphere - Still a beautiful location, see pictures. Indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of mall parking. Service - Good, friendly, welcoming, consistent, etc. Price - $28, reasonably priced for what we got. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 2020. You have done a very good job with your business model. We are still regular customers.

Quickly found this place via a Google search and stopped by with a group of friends on our way home from Tahoe. I ordered the grilled pork vermicelli salad (bun thit nuong) at the counter and food came out very quickly. Portions are really generous, service was friendly, they were a little stingy about asking for extra onions ($2 charge for extra), and the grilled pork doesn't appear to actually be grilled, more likely sautéed. Everything was overall enjoyable, just not quite authentic or worth a repeat visit.

First time here and I will absolutely be back and checking out their other location in Roseville closer to where I live. The food was so fresh and healthy (besides the amazing crispy pork I added ) . I honestly can't wait to go back! They have a nice little patio that I enjoyed and sipped my ice cold water brought out to me in a frosty metal cup. Perfect lunch! Service was nice as well and the restaurant space was very clean.

Plain chicken sandwich I do not like vegetables or pickled anything.

Not a normal restaurant I would go to. But my friends wanted to try it out. Restaurant is small but very bright and clean. A lot of vegetables in pretty much everything. Pickled vegetables also. Not the normal rolls I am use to. They had rice paper. They did offer fountain drinks I realized after. I just didn't see it tucked away. They do offer sandwiches. I got a plain chicken sandwich. Man at the counter was very nice trying to help me order. Asked if chicken had seasonings on it. He said yes but not spicy just a little sweet. I said no vegetables just mayo. Bread and meat. Their rolls were very good but I thought they were soft. But after my bottom lip was cut from the crust of the bread and later felt bruised. No fault to them. I can not eat sour dough either. Just putting here incase others are sensitive like me. The chicken had a very good flavor. I ordered a passion fruit drink. Again I didn't think they had a fountain drink machine. I just saw bottles in a case behind the register. Ugh but the drink was very good.

The employees are always so nice here and check on you at the table even though they don't wait the tables. We have been here numerous times but this time my husband and I both ordered something different. He order the chicken and pork plate. He never complains about his food but he did this time as there was so much fat on his chicken. He had a big pile when he wad finished eating I had the chicken Bahn Mi sandwich and added the egg roll and drink For 5.99 more. The egg roll was so hot, crispy and delicious. The Bahn no was good but not made in the authentic way I am used to getting them in S F. Still I enjoyed it. We will probably both go back to our usuals or their Pho.

Everything I ordered came out so good. The employees were really patient and helpful since it was our first time there.

    2 bowls of pho.

I'm not originally from Sacramento so it's hard for me to find really good pho in the area. Urban Rolls however is the closest I come to good ol Seattle WA pho. The broth is less seasoned/watered down than I'm used to but it's nothing some Sriracha and Hoisin can't fix. I love the clean environment and it's in a good location. They are always really good with customer service, and always willing to accommodate from extra sauce or wooden chopsticks. The only downer is the ONLY portion size offered is a 3 meat size. I personally don't eat that much nor do I eat anything other than rare steak so naturally I pay a lot more for food I end up not eating. If they had a small size bowl option I would rate 5 stars!

This location was really clean and employees were welcoming. Tom yum soup was pretty good however the pho needed some work. The pho broth was watered down and noodles were overcooked. I couldn't pick them up because they were breaking as I tried to pick them up. Location is great but would suggest getting a sandwich other than the pho soups. Rice plates looked good.

Just ordered Bahn Mi through online ordering and the order was correct and ready fast. Always super clean in the restaurant and friendly to me. Will continue to come here for lunch when I work in the area.

Are their banh mi bread made fresh daily? The bread is key to this dish. Most places in this area freeze and defrost which is gross.

My wife and the other couple we were with also enjoyed their meals. Unfortunately, the service really took away from the experience. We were greeted when we arrived and the food came out promptly, but after that, things dropped off. The couple with us ordered sodas that were never delivered, and my friend eventually had to walk up and ask for them. What was more disappointing was that instead of checking on tables, the staff member appeared to be eating their own dinner, and we were never checked on again for the remainder of the meal. Because of that, we ended up leaving our leftovers on the table and heading out. Good food, but the lack of attentive service was a turnoff and honestly kind of ruined what could have been a much better experience. I'll have to think about it hard before I go back to this place.

So there I was... sitting on an oil rig in Alaska, talking to a sheriff's deputy with over 20 years…read moreon the job. He says, "My buddies keep telling me about this place called Pho King Good." Funny part? Even he had never been there. Well, that little story stuck with me. Fast forward a few weeks. My road trip partner, Koda, and I are heading home from Disneyland, cutting through Sacramento toward Grass Valley. We roll into Auburn and BOOM there it is. Pho King Good. Now let's just take a second to appreciate that name. If you're gonna swing for the fences with a name like Pho King Good, you've set the bar about as high as Mount Everest. You don't get to be "pretty decent." You'd better make me question every bowl of pho I've ever eaten. The sign? Absolutely iconic. It practically jumps out and hollers at you from the side of the road. Easy in, easy out. Road-tripper approved. Walking inside, though, I was expecting a little more "Pho King Palace" and a little less "we've been meaning to remodel since the Clinton administration." The marble counter looked nice enough, but the place just felt like it needed a little love. If I owned a restaurant with a name that good, I'd lean into it. Give me lanterns. Give me atmosphere. Make me feel like the King just walked in. Charge me another couple bucks if you have to I wouldn't mind if the experience matched the name. Then came the menu. It felt a little like Dysfunction Junction. They had everything listed, but it wasn't organized in a way that made ordering easy. Give me sections. House Pho. Beef Pho. Chicken Pho. Special Pho. Help a hungry traveler out. The food? Solid... right down the middle of the road. After hours in the car, a hot bowl of pho hits the spot no matter what. Koda really enjoyed his chicken dish, and our vegetable egg rolls with the peanut sauce were decent, although the wrapper was just a touch on the rubbery side. The owner was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely hospitable, which always counts for something. My only real disappointment was this: with a name like Pho King Good, I expected to leave saying, "That's the best pho I've ever had." Instead, I left saying, "That was... good." And then came the plot twist. Time to pay. Cash only. So now I'm walking out to the ATM like I'm making a withdrawal for a back-alley poker game or a dispensary run. I'm standing there thinking, "Well... this tip just took a hit because I wasn't planning on paying an ATM fee for my noodles." I still don't quite understand it. You're giving change, printing receipts, running a business... we're already 95% of the way to taking cards! Overall, this wasn't about whether the food was amazing or terrible. It was about the experience. Sometimes that's the story worth telling. Would I stop again on another road trip? Probably. Because sometimes a bowl of pho, your best buddy Koda riding shotgun, and a restaurant with the greatest pun in California are all you really need. And if they ever decide to polish the place up and make it live up to that legendary name... It might just become Pho King Great.

VEGAN SIGHTING!!! I…read moredon't even know where to start my fellow vegans. This quirky, Vietnamese restaurant in the city of Auburn, CA, has by far the best vegan Banh Mi sandwich. The tofu was prepared so it did not take up the whole sandwich. The pickled radish and carrots had the perfect and balanced of sour and sweet. Of course, can't leave out the herbs of cilantro and fresh jalapinjoes. The french bread was crispy outside but still soft and hearty as you take a bite. My earth was it a 2 thumbs up!!! Then their vegan pho with veggies and tofu did not disappoint. Their veggie broth was perfectly blended and made wonderfully that I was not even thinking this was vegan. The staff was kind and informative. They were attentive and friendly. Then comes the merch. If you like a play on the word Pho, then come and check out their shirts for sale. All I have to say is "Life is Pho king good." With this said, another gem in Auburn, CA.
