Yo, I almost fainted when I saw how cheap da gas was in Texas!!! $2.699 for a gallon of regular gas??? Get da **** outtah here, as I just paid $4.679 per gallon for regular gas in da 808, just before I flew up to Texas last week! Us Hawaii folks always getting ripped off with our fuel cost out here in the islands! I was gonna return my rental car & skip town the next day, so I figured I'd better plan ahead & fill up my rental car before driving back to the airport the next morning. RaceTrac wasn't too far from my hotel, so I figured I'd swing by to get some gas. I couldn't believe the OUTSTANDING gas prices in Texas. If I lived here, my Mustang would be so happy, as my car sucks up da gas like no tomorrow! Lol! We don't have "RaceTrac" here in the islands, but I would say that it's your typical gas station/convenience store. Where I'm from, we have "Aloha Gas" & "Hele Gas" convenience stores out here in the islands, and it's the same concept as RaceTrac, with the exception of the food items, as Aloha Gas, & Hele Gas probably carries food stuff, that the locals love in da 808. This particular RaceTrac gas station had a lot of gas pumps, so there was absolutely no wait time to refill my rental. Came here, and got what I needed, so I was all set for the following morning. This has to be one of the busiest Race Tracs in DFW. It does not matter when I come here they are swamped. They're swamped at the pumps and swamped in the convenience store that is attached to the gas station. The good news is though that they have lots of capacity to service a lot of customers. They have 48 pumps that carry all grades of unleaded, as well as diesel fuel. The pumps are kept in good working order and are always clean. The convenience store part of this is your typical gas station convenience store that serves both bottle and Fountain sodas and snacks. They also sell ice and propane for those that need that. The staff is always very friendly and always working at a quick pace respectful of everybody that is coming in time. I have been to several RaceTrac gas stations and while I'm always impressed, this one is a little bit of A Cut Above many of the others. read more

This is a very busy gas station and it's not because of the customer service provided. It is strategically located making this location practical. Service tends to vary like any other place. But the is a Co Manager... her name is Robbie. She should lead by example but when she lacks the attributes needed to be a manager and an example how can others follow. I go there every morning and numerous times I have seen when paying that she not only ignores customers but does not acknowledge their presence. You can greet her and no response. After paying she will hand over your change with no acknowledgment. She is young and might have potential. Hopefully this feedback will help her develop as a manager. read more

This morning I went into this location because my other half ran out of gas down the road. I waited in line at the counter and asked the clerk if they had any gas cans. He looked up for a minute and replied, "uh...I don't think so. No." I then asked him where they would be and went there. Sure enough they had about 6! I took the can back up to the counter and the clerk didnt even greet me this time. He said, "is that all?" I only had a $20 for the $14.06 so that little turd have me 94 cents... even after he told me they didn't have cans when they did ! To top it all off, the cab was extremely hard to use. It took the two of us to figure it out. I will avoid this station and take my business elsewhere. read more

I'm giving Race trac a 5 star for service and Employees. I bought a case of water bag of ice and an ice chest and the cashier helped me out without me asking then I locked my keys in the trunk and luckily a young man named Jermaine that was working helped me get my car unlocked (I'd left the windows barely down so he found something to help me open my doors. I've had a crappy day and the people here were great to help my day from getting much worse and get me back to work. Thanks so much!!! Great place to stop! read more

Lazy workers. No fresh food or drinks in service. The employees at the checkout had no clue what was going on with the tea not being made or the hotdogs dried out as a rubber shoe. They need better management because there isn't any at this store. read more

I have been going to the store for over 3 years. Usually friendly but today I will no longer go there. I went to the store had a 20 in my pocket as I got my food and drink I went up and I saw my 20 was missing out of my pocket. Thinking it may of fell out of my car I just paid with my card and was going to back track to hopefully find it. As I was getting done an employee came up to the store manager. If someone is missing a 20 let me know. I said "I am missing a 20" she Said "no your not" I then said yes I am I am not kidding. anyways it took me getting pretty frustrated to get her to give me my 20 back. She even said 'Jesus is watching" It was handled horribly and I have spent so much money there and to be treated like that pretty much makes me to never want to go again to a Race Trac. My favorite gas station in town. On most weeks they have the best fuel prices (still have to price shop them, but mostly reliable). The next best reason to stop here is for the drink buffet. 8 flavors of cappucino drinks, 5 flavors of coffee (w/ a coffee bar full of creamers & sugars), 24? soda flavors, and a large selection of hot & cold treats. The 2-3 cashiers are always very attentive and no matter the size of the line in the store, they will get you out quickly. Nice, clean RaceTrac off Valley View and Luna Rd. Cheery and friendly staff. Big roomy parking lot, especially good when trucks are hauling through. Interior-wise, this RaceTrac has a huge wall of drink dispensers, from coffee to soda; a nice freezer aisle, and well-stocked shelves full of snacks and deli goods. This location does a brisk business all day long, but the staff keeps the lines moving. Sometimes the roller lines are wiped out during lunch, so arrive early to get your hot dogs. Fuel prices tends to be a few cents more than the lowest average gas prices around, but still competitive--and much to be preferred over the long lines at smaller, cheaper fuel stops. read more
