After having dinner with friends at Jim & Nicks Bbq, we were looking to get some ice cream. What happened to finding a decent ice cream location close to the Collection? Didn't feel like Bruesters so my husband suggested we go to Race Trac. My friend (and his teenage son) were shocked (and laughed) when my husband recommended RaceTrac. We coaxed them into going and I am happy to say that it was really good! They call it Swirl World! They have several soft serve ice cream choices (self serve) with tons of toppings! They offer two sized bowls (both if which are affordably priced). The cost is not by the "weight" of your ice cream, just the size bowl you get. We had fun building our own sundaes! Oreo topping was out, we asked about it and it was quickly restocked. Great customer service! As we sat outside on their nice tables, we saw plenty of families going to Swirl World! We've made our friends believers that you can go to a Gas Station for good "affordable" ice cream! Give it a try! read more

I love this RaceTrac. First of all, they are typically slightly lower in gas prices. I find their stores to be cleaner than most gas stations, and they have a very nice variety of stuff to eat and drink. If you have the munchies, and you aren't close to the grocery store, this is your place to go. Seriously, you can get your snack attack on here, no problem. My daughter is a slushy maniac, and although I don't get them for her often, I gravitate here when I am going to get her one. Prices are very reasonable, and they have an excellent variety of slushies including mango, lemonade, strawberry banana, watermelon, Coke, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, cherry...it really has something for everyone. Her friend tried her first slushy here, and she loved it. On the flip side, if you like beer, they have a huge walk in freezer full of cold beers. I mean, huge! Clean, spacious, variety, good gas prices. What more can you ask for in a convenience store? I'm a fan! read more

The holy grail of gas stations in Cumming. This store has a little of something for everyone in the snack department ranging from classic candy to lowfat yogurt, with tons of topping choices. The cashiers are usually very fast. The prices on gas are usually the same or a little better than the competitors. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the access to the road and or trying to turn onto the highway. read more

Business advertises itself as 24 hours, but never stays open past 10 pm. Every time I go here they always have a sign in front telling you to come back at 5:30 am with the doors locked. It's been this way for years, just kinda tired of the misrepresentation. I expect a business to have accurate and real hours, all these fake hours do is draw in uninformed customers. Either update your hours, or stop closing your doors, if your business is really 24/7 treat it as such. read more

WELL, IT'S NO QUIK TRIP, BUT IT'S OK! I have been looking forward to visiting this station since construction started. Finally, I made it. As we pull into the station, my husband begins to pump gas while I go in to make a pit stop. This store is smaller than some of the others that have the restrooms at the opposite ends of the store. In this store, both restrooms are located on the west end of the store, (to the right after you enter). Regarding cleanliness, it wasn't really dirty but needed some attention to detail because certain areas were neglected. I am accustomed to those flawless Quik Trip stores that are always clean and orderly. However, this one is no slouch and I really appreciate the convenience of its location, (right next to The Collection). Besides regular beverages and frozen drinks, there is also frozen yogurt, and hot food options along with the regular staples. The strangest section observed: The boiled peanut station: Regular or Cajun? Weird! They obviously aim to please every visitor. However, in order to that, they will need to work on those gas pumps. When we arrived several of the pumps were covered with yellow bags that said "out of order". My husband selected one that appeared to be functioning. However, as I returned to the van, my husband announced that the pump was malfunctioning and would not take the debit card. He was too tired to inquire inside so we just left. Unfortunately we were not able to get gas which was the primary reason for our visit. Maybe next time! read more

I'm in shock! Since when did racetrac get this good? I remember this place being so subpar-- I mean not even worthy of stopping at for gas. I have to say although I'm still skeptical about putting gas in my car from here (which sucks to be honest), I would stop here any day just to to inside! So it's almost midnight, I'm a little sad because pinkberry was closed but the time I got there, so I just made my way down home. As I'm driving my sister is like please get me some coffee on your way back. I'm thinking, well there's no QT, so the racetrac that's right off of the exit I need to take will do. I walk in, and look to my left and guess what I see? A frozen yogurt section! Now hold on, I know this is no pinkberry or any classy fro yo place, but it was sufficient enough to do the job and satisfy my craving! The fro yo selection was okay. The flavors were honestly not that good, but I liked one of them and that was enough. You get to add your toppings and WA-la you have fro yo! Oh and then their coffee condiment station! Wow! They have so many flavors for their creamers! Just amazing on how much variety they have! read more

Awesome RaceTrac with a bunch of stuff you need inside like the frozen yogurt area, a few slushee choices, the beer cave, and other foods good for lunch. Plus the gas prices are competitive for the area. I recommend coming here to fill your tank and get what you need. read more

This place will make you forget that you are inside of a gas station. It is very nice and very well stocked. Also, the froyo is legit!

So sad!! I bought five sodapalooza cups excitedly anticipating all the peach mango tea and sugar free icee, but there was a flavor reset at the beginning and there is no longer a sugar free option. Now I love the peach mango tea but 8/10 trips to race trac this summer, I was faced with empty tea pots. This has been such a problem that my hubby chooses to stop at quick trip and doesn't even try for the free drink! I have not stopped in for drinks at all. I guess this is how Race Trac makes an even bigger profit. Oh and guess what? I just got a text from my husband: not tea again!!! So I have nothing to drink again. I've reached out to corporate but had no response so I guess I will post on here at least some may avoid your establishment! Super clean, fantastic frozen yogurt, and a good place to just sit and have a drink with someone. I sometimes forget it's a gas station.

I bought gas and hot dog and drink (extra large). The staff were friendly and I got my hot dog and extra large drink was free.

RaceTrac has learned to cater to their customers. If we are traveling I always pick RaceTrack to fill up the gas and empty myself :). Great selections of drinks and snacks. I haven't seen any good dark chocolate, so keep learning what we want RaceTrac and you will stay ahead. This RaceTrac is a little smaller and a little dated, but still a good place to stop. read more
