I honestly feel Rachell is too old to be doing permanent makeup anymore. I had my eyebrows done and had to go back for 3 touch up visits. She still did not get my eyebrows right and they are very blotchy. I am not at all impressed by her work. One would think due to the fact that she charges exhorbitant prices for her procedures she would be good. This is not the case. My eyebrows look terrible. What I loved most was that she is very conservative. She realizes that too add is no problem but there would be no taking away. It has been almost four years since Rachell Hall left my face asymmetrical after using powder ink to fill my eyebrows instead of the microblading services I requested. This is what I call a beauty enhancement 'malpractice'!I have felt awkward in public ever since then! For nearly four years now, it has truly been a daily challenge to have to try to fix what Rachell Hall ruined! Everybody notices the difference in height, width and length of my eyebrows. Four years and my eyebrows have still not faded, I feel scared forever! Rachell Hall has to realize that it is people's faces that she work on. There is not a day that goes by when I don't regret my decision of trusting Rachell Hall's microblading services. Below is the original review on the horrible work Rachell Hall performed on me. This is Dr. Miller. I wasn't going to write a review on my 'microblading' experience with Rachel Hall, but it is a must that I do so, as people need to know that her services are not trustworthy. Initially I went to see Rachel Hall for a Microblading back in November 2018. I learned about her services on the Scottsdale Magazine where I had been featured; there was an entire page advertising her services. The advertisement read 'classic eyebrows'. I decided to trust Rachel Hall services to get my eyebrows miro bladed before the wedding of my first son. I made my first appointment in October, 2018. At that point, we were six months away from my first son's wedding. Initially Microblading was done on my eyebrows, but to my surprise, the color totally faded by Christmas. I let Rachel know and we scheduled a second appointment for a microblading touch up in January, 2020. At this point my son's wedding was 45 days away and I was feeling very nervous about the delay in ensuring the requested service was completed. During my second appointment, WITHOUT ASKING Rachel Hall used powder ink and tattooed my eyebrows instead of microblading them! Short after she started working on me another client arrived. It seemed that the other person was a new, and Rachel was rushing to see the two of us. She did not measure my eyebrows, nor she used a pencil to trace them before filling them in with permanent ink powder! Rachell Hall filled my eyebrows with permanent makeup without my knowledge or approval! As soon as I left her office, I immediately noticed that my right eyebrow was shorter, thinner and higher than the left one. I was in tears, not knowing what to do! There were 45 days left for my son's wedding, I was the Mother of the Groom! I got in contact with Rachel the next day. Her answer was to wait for a month until they healed before she could see me again.  I felt devastated and embarrassed to have to show my face at work and anywhere in public. I am a very social person, one who is involved in multiple events, meetings, and leadership gatherings. Close friends and family kept on asking what had happened to my eyebrows as they noticed how different they were from each other. My facial features were distorted in pictures.  I waited patiently and called her ten days after and I went to see her for the third time. After looking at my eyebrows she admitted that they needed to be fixed. Using a soft pencil she tried to fill my eyebrows to see if she could fix them; but no matter what she did, it didn't fix the problem one eyebrow was always higher and it looked very odd! I could no longer trust her, and I demanded to get my money back. She agreed to return $250 fifteen days later arrived in the form of a check. Initially, I paid $595 for the microblading and four years later, I still feel very disappointed that I wasn't refunded the total amount. Rachel Hall was far from delivering the classic Microblading eyebrows that her advertisements boasted about! When she told me that she was the "Queen of Conservative" I felt reassured. Who wants to do something even a tiny bit too bold right on your face and have to live with it? She said "I can always add more". I met with two other professionals before deciding to trust Rachel with this big move. She did eyeliner and eyebrows and they are very subtle but exactly enough. I have never left a review on yelp until now. Unfortunately my first review is a bad one. I chose to go to Rachel because she has been in the industry a long time, so I felt she would be a safe choice. Everyday I put on my make up I'm reminded of the amount of money I wasted. The brows are sparse no color left after 6 months & a touch up was done. Eyeliner is virtually unnoticeable that she did as well! When I called for the touch up, she seemed to be put off that I felt I needed it. If you read about microblading it's perfectly normal to have to come back sometimes for 2 or 3 touch ups. read more

I have been a satisfied client of Rachell Hall for over 23 years. In the early 90's, I had my first permanent makeup experience with Rachell. Over several appointments, Rachell artfully applied permanent makeup to my eyebrows, eyeliner, lip liner and my entire lips. I have never been particularly skilled at applying makeup and I was thrilled with Rachell's suggestions and my results. Over the years, the time I have saved getting ready due to Rachell's artistry has paid for her work several times over. I went to Rachel for eyeliner and eyebrows. I left with 2 damaged corneas. I was in excrutiating pain when the numbing gel wore off. Rachel went with me to urgent care and they said I had a huge laceration in my right cornea and that I should go to an eye specialist right away. We went to the eye specialist who confirmed that I had a giant laceration on the right eye which was mechanical. He also confirmed damage to the left eye. Rachel was with me and heard two doctors confirm the cornea laceration and still she does not want to take responsibility. Rachel is reluctant to pay medical bills and I am still negotiating with her. I was lucky not to have permanent damage to my eye sight. It's sad that she won't step up and do the right thing. I'm shocked that she would hesitate at all to pay medical bills related to the injury she caused me. I regret not reading these yelp review before going to her. read more

My eyebrows were sparce, gray and nearly invisible. I saw Rachell Hall's ad in So Scottsdale magazine. Sounded good. I set up an appointment and thought she quoted me $195. I even wrote that down. Actually, she charged $495. I shut up and paid. But that's not the worst part. My face is pretty much symmetrical. The eyebrows she did aren't. I asked her at the start if she was going to use a template. She said no, she could just do it by sight. Wrong. My left eyebrow now starts ¼ inch farther out than my right and has a distinct point. My right eyebrow is a low arch in a different position, and different length. I wish I could ask her to fix it but I don't think that's possible. And how stupid would I have to be to ask her to try a difficult fix after she totally botched the job back when it was simple. read more

She proceeded filling them in and based herself on the shape that had faded. She rushed. The powder filler color is intense and it is basically a permanent makeup. To my surprise and anguish my right eyebrow was shorter, thinner and higher than the left one. I was in tears, not knowing what to do I got in contact with Rachel the next day. Her answer was to wait for a month until they healed before she could see me again. I felt devastated and embarrassed. After letting her talk me into a color I really didn't want, my eyebrows turned out red and my eyeliner was crooked. Thankfully, the eyebrows completely faded after a year and all the liner faded EXCEPT for the mistakes of course. It was expensive and painful and she didn't respond to my letter. I was a little worried about having eyeliner, thinking I might come out looking like a drag queen, because I don't always wear eye liner...but WOW! I can't believe how natural & beautiful it is! My husband commented the other day how I wake up looking beautiful - it's because I now wake up with EYES! Before my eyes were so washed out, even though I'm Italian, my skin is fair and my eyes were not noticeable without a ton of make-up. Rachel put just the right amount of liner & color on. The top liner was placed inside the lashes, so you don't get that made-up Maybelline liner look, just the look of fuller lashes and a more noticeable outline of your eyes. The procedure itself was more uncomfortable than actually painful, and I could tell immediately that Rachel knew what she was doing, because she went to work right away with no hesitation, knowing exactly what was needed.
