I want to start off by saying I got my eyebrows done by Anita and I couldn't be happier! As someone who is very fair and has over plucked all these years, and spent at LEAST 30 minutes putting on eyebrows everyday, so I knew I was a good candidate for this. I had the plasma pen treatment done by Britney at Permanent Effects. First off I have to say how professional and nice Britney, Anita and their staff are. Their boutique is beautiful, clean and professional. Britney was so knowledgeable and informative, I felt like she treated me like a trusted friend and not that she was trying to sell anything. She has a keen eye for the work they do and is very talented. I had the plasma pen spray and targeted my 'elevens' (frown wrinkles between the eyes) and a few other areas. This is the second time I have used Anita Smith for permanent make-up. I had a touch-up on my eye-liner and my full lips done for the very first time this week. Anita is an absolute ARTIST. She took 4 hours to do both eyes and lips and was VERY meticulous. She listens to what you want and what outcome you are trying to achieve. Her price includes a touch-up 3 to 4 weeks later. She is virtually pain-free, as she has physician obtained numbing creams. A word of advice, do NOT be afraid to go too bright on your lips, as they will fade a bit over 3 weeks. That first look in the mirror can be a bit intimidating, but, once the color settles, you will love it. Thanks to hoshimotos I lost most of my eye brows years ago. I had my eye brows and eye liner done years ago by another artist which was good at the time. Needing a touch up I came here after seeing a friends eye brows done by Britney. The first time I went I only had my eye brows done. They were so fabulous when I went for my second appointment I had my eye liner done as well. My eye brows couldn't be a better shape and look so natural. My eye liner looks terrific as well. I went to see Britney at Permanent Makeup Masters to address the possibility of having scalp micropigmentation done. As a male with thinning hair, I decided to shave my head several years ago. The problem was, even when shaving my head, there was an evident variation between where hair still grew and where it didn't. When I first shaved my head, I had looked into the possibility of scalp micropigmentation (replicating the appearance of hair follicles via a tattooing process), but what I was seeing left me leery. At the time, it didn't seem the process had been refined enough to instill confidence that I'd I'd end up with a lasting, natural looking result. A friend pointed me toward Permanent Makeup Masters and I'm so thankful she did. Both Britney and Anita are remarkable in their knowledge of precision tattoo work and are on the cutting edge of the latest techniques in not only permanent makeup, but also the very exciting field of scalp micropigmentation. The technique they use is leaps and bounds beyond anything I've seen before. The needles are extremely fine, the pigments are top-notch and the technical expertise is first rate. I decided to move ahead with the process. Britney was so thorough in explaining how the procedure would work. We discussed things like color, density and what I ultimately hoped to achieve. She was wonderfully patient and completely understanding in addressing all of my questions and concerns. Anita Smith did my eyebrows in December of 2014. I chose her to do them because she was recommended by somebody to me. I thought I was going to get a great job but it was the contrary. The first time I had them done by her were so uneven and the color was so mess up. One was darker than the other. I thought they were going to get better in the touch up but they didn't. I was so disappointed because I was expecting better results. And on top of that she is not cheap. She charges a lot and that is why I was expecting a better job from her. I had to go to another place so that they could get fixed and got much better results. I definitely would not recommend her to anybody. read more

After my total happiness with my eyeliner, I asked Anita to have a look at my lips. I had to have a biopsy on my lower lip a couple of years ago. A small amount of the lips color (it looked like a major dent to me) was permanently gone.I also have a "crooked" smile. As the years have gone by, the shape of one side of my mouth (again, it looked monumental to me!) looked smaller than the other. I've seen women do crazy things to their lips and have stayed away from anything that would permanently effect mine-until now. Anita took great pains to see that the spot would take and hold the color. Going as far as "testing" it a couple of times when I was having my lashes done. It did, and I went ahead with the appointment. She was able to recreate the normal lip line on the other side, and it looks just right.
