RB's are an absolute necessity when doing first ascents. I've taken many lead falls on them and never once has an RB pull out of the rock. I have 100% confidence in their RB's. Over the years, Climb Tech has honed the RB's design, making them more user friendly and even more bombproof. Also, Climb Tech is the only company that has responded directly to the needs of route equippers worldwide. Climb Tech is one stop shop if you're looking to bolt a new line. For establishing big walls to overhanging sport routes, Climb Tech's products have proved indispensable. Other Climb Tech products I've tried include permadraws, chain draws, chain anchors, adjustable aiders, etriers, bolt hangers, and quickdraws. All of Climb Tech's products are top notch and of the highest quality. The customer service at Climb Tech is as good as it gets. The employees are rock climbers, so they understand the specific needs of climbers. Finally, Climb Tech is locally owned and operated in Austin, Texas! Buy local!

I have used their permadraws in the south austin gym as well as out at reimers and I can tell that they are made with amazing quality and will last many years to come. I do kind of wish that they would have a store front for their gear so I can feel and see the difference between everything they have to offer. In this modern day of a digital world and internet ordering, it's still nice to be able to walk into a store, see/ feel what you're about to purchase, and walk out with the product in hand.

It was a nice store, but was hoping for something unique to…read morethe location as it's the "flagship" store such as a hat or T-shirt that was only available there. Everything there was something I could buy online or at a store back home. Parking was annoying, as it was paid street parking or you could get your parking comp'd at the hotel next door if you made a purchase at the yet store. There was a bar at the front/outside portion of the entrance where some patrons were purchasing beverages and hanging out on the deck. To me it was a little random, since the parking situation sucked and the view wasn't anything special besides the busy street. They had cool displays and a wide selection to shop from. They also had a customization area for yeti water bottles/tumblers. We left empty handed, but they do have large bathrooms for patron use which is a plus. I do love my Yeti products, but this experience was a little disappointing.

They had people in giant coolers doing cold plunges, free coffee outside, ice sculptures, a band playing, oysters, etc! It was awesome. That was my first time browsing the store. I took my fiance recently to check it out and pick up a couple Christmas gifts. You can customize almost anything right on the screen and then wait for it or go back to pick it up. The wait time was 3 hours, so we went back the next day. They have a bar on the patio so I imagine those people having drinks were probably waiting for their orders. Friendly customer service, and clean and organized store.

They are near a winery and there's a pizza shop and a arcade all within walking distance. The owner is pretty young guy, so you got to love young entrepreneurs. Of all the places for a person to start a business, he decided to start it here in Austin even though he is from houston. They will sell the sit down tricycle type of bike, it's actually called a TerraBike. I brought three bikes and he got them in quick, the pricing was great, comparable to other bike shops. I got great updates about my bike especially when a part had to be ordered and that's no fault of his, I just had to wait for the part to get here. I did see that there were other people that were here the same day of the grand opening like me so hopefully word is getting out. They also sell other items inside if you are interested in accessories for your bike. I saw a wide variety of bikes in there so it doesn't really matter what you have, if it is a cycle, I'm sure that he can work on it. Every time I come in here I seem to learn something new about a bicycle because this guy is doing something from scratch. It's cool to see a artist working at his art /craft.
