We requested a quote, and within two days they came to our property to assess the work and provided a quote that same day. We also wanted to make sure we were working with a properly insured company, and they promptly sent us a copy of their insurance documentation along with the quote. Once we approved the quote, they were able to fit us into their schedule the following week. Our project was fairly substantial and took three days. We had six large Cook Pines that needed to be trimmed down by about half, as well as several palm trees that had been infested with Coconut Rhinoceros Beetles (CRB) and needed to be completely removed. The crew arrived on time each day and was professional, friendly, and very respectful of our property. They took great care while working around the property and made sure everything was cleaned up before they left each day. Considering the amount of cutting and debris involved in a job of this size, we really appreciated how clean they kept everything. The entire process--from getting the quote through completion of the job--was smooth, professional, and well organized. Other tree removal companies requested via Yelp recommendations asked to come and see palms, inspected all palms, made recommendations based on what they saw, etc. Ended up removing all 5 palms at discounted pricing including stump grinding. Obviously, they do not need small jobs. No response for almost a month and only written quote via text and offer to do the work in a few days.

First of all, his reviews already spoke for themselves, so I took his impeccable history and decided to give him a call. I then realized that I didn't need to look into any other vendors because this was the guy I needed. When I called him, he answered the phone and willingly offered to help out. He was willing to come that same day or later in the week, but that wasn't going to work for me so we were able to plan for the next week. Don't forget to message and follow up with him because he's a busy man! On the day of the project he was a little behind, but nothing crazy, and I rather have someone with a great attitude and very reasonable price versus someone more prompt but charges an arm and a leg. The most impressive characteristic about monkey man is that he was willing to support the youth that we were sending to a conference. I ended up giving him more $ than he requested because I know the job he did was way beyond what he asked. I looked into renting a lift, but that was really pricey, and I would still need to get a chainsaw and be careful with the neighbors property and cable wires so it was definitely a wise choice to hire a professional like the monkey man versus trying to possibly save money but risk my life or potentially damaging my neighbors property or something else! I've cut many trees myself, but not one of this size so having monkey man was well worth it. He even went the extra mile to make some cutting boards for the neighbors who requested. He was able to give me an estimate based on the video I sent. As they were in the area, he gave me a call asking if I had some time today to come by with the crew. They called after their job was done and came by and cut down all of my tall trees. They were really efficient and cleaned up really really well, including taking a pile of leaves (from the palms) that I had left for the next green waste day. Although they were using my green bin to haul green waste out to their trucks, they emptied it all into their trucks and left my bin empty. The back where they were working as well as the front where they cut the trees into smaller pieces to load were cleaned up really well before leaving. Highly recommend!!

For the early stages of the project Angel was the primary foreman of the job. Angel was very friendly and respectful.
