Today was my 4th visit. I spoke with the attending physician during my very 1st visit and he apologized especially after hearing that it was actually my 2nd attempt after calling and verifying appointment but was then denied in person and had to return. I made the return due to location, current allergy struggle, and recommendations from my primary care doctor, ENT specialist, family, friends and coworkers and even still after returning was met with the same push back and was almost denied again. If it wasn't for the doctor's kindness, understanding, and apology I wouldn't have returned. Some of the staff at this location, not all, leave something to be desired and even after 4th visit still don't feel welcome or like a patient but more of a burden which is a shame. Would recommend trying a different office or clinic if possible.

Much better than a Scottsdale practice I went to previously. They squeezed me in for a telehealth visit a couple of weeks ago when I was really sick and my PCP was unavailable. Laura Jochen, a family NP, was very good. Instead of just quickly scanning my chart, Laura took time reviewing my medical history and asking questions to help adjust my treatment. I have been to see a lot of Doctors over the past couple of years for various conditions. This remains the best practice I have visited. Kudos to them... I highly recommend them!

Today was very very busy, so we were a little late being seen, but it was within thirty minutes of the appointment. The receptionists are always kind, and the doctors/PAs are great about going over everything with you. My only complaint is regarding prescriptions getting sent to the pharmacy. Both times, my pharmacy didn't receive the requests until after I called, but they do eventually arrive. Usually within the same day I call. Overall, I do recommend this place. They have always taken good care of my daughter.

I've seen most of the new drs here and they're still all great! The lab tech and medical assistants are super competent and friendly. My family and I come here for almost all our medical needs. She claimed my baseline testosterone was low and immediately began aggressively increasing my dosage. Over the last two years, my testosterone levels shot up to a staggering 254-387--levels far too high for a female. Predictably (to someone educated in hormones- which wasn't me), I developed overwhelming exhaustion. When a woman's body is flooded with too much testosterone, the excess converts directly into estrogen. According to medical resources like the Cleveland Clinic, an overloaded estrogen system causes severe fatigue and low libido--completely defeating my original reason for seeking care. Things got so bad that my gynecologist expressed serious concerns and told me to demand a dose decrease. To the DW provider's credit, she did check my iron on and correctly put me on an iron supplement, which brought my levels up. But when the iron didn't cure the exhaustion, she resorted to guesswork--adding thyroid medication, B12 shots, DIM, and a cortisol manager rather than acknowledging the testosterone overload. This past week, I reached my breaking point and asked to transfer my care to another provider in the clinic. Instead, I was directed to the office manager, who doubled down on their unsafe stance and insisted testosterone couldn't be the issue. Realizing that this clinic values protecting their protocols over patient health, I canceled all remaining appointments and care. Find a provider who actually understands hormone pathways and listens to your concerns.

When I called to make appointments for my kids the people on the phone were great and were quick to…read morecall back and get me in sooner. HOWEVER upon arriving it was obvious the check in lady was new (which is fine as long as there's obvious effort in improving or learning the ropes.) She was extremely slow to check me in, did not make eye contact, was so quiet I could barely hear her (god forbid you're hard of hearing). Did not even check my demographics, which were all wrong and misspelled. I arrived 30 min early to my appointment and ended up not even filling out paperwork or medical release forms which is important when I'm trying to establish a pediatrician for my kids to have continuity of care. The NP was fine. She reassured me my kiddo was okay and let me know what to watch out for. However she finished up and left the room without even checking my baby's belly (she was in for vomiting). She did came back inside to do the physical portion of the exam thank goodness. Overall the visit cost me $230+ for what I felt was subpar medical care. I would not recommend using banner as PCP especially for CHILDREN. They are the most vulnerable of our population and deserve pediatric care that is excellent or at least decent. I will not be coming back and hope they improve their standard of care. In the case of an emergency or a serious illness it does not sit well that the staff cannot even get something as simple as names and date of births correct. I'm sure the doctors are great but if your front desk/ first people you see are incompetent it ruins the overall quality of your practice.

Truly I can't remember having a better PA experience. She took all the time I needed to talk about my overall health and how my allergies could be effecting that. She prescribed stuff for an ear issue I was having and it totally cleared it up! We loved her. My kids love going with me to this office because they have a treasure box full of suckers and little toys and they let them take a handful of stuff! So kind and would definitely recommend!!
