I recently moved from Arizona and would go to a radiant wax there and had a waxologist who I loved. I was nervous moving here because I was afraid I wouldn't be able to find someone good. I had an appointment with India and she was INCREDIBLE! I don't think I've ever been waxed this well before. India has an amazing personality. She inquiries about your current skincare routine, which tells me she cares about your skin. She is very kind and pleasant. She makes good conversation so your session isn't awkward. Her waxing technique is the best I've ever experienced. She prioritizes your comfort level and really works to sooth any painful areas. She is extremely thorough and detailed oriented. In the past I've had leftover wax on me (unintentionally of course) but India cleaned up so well I didn't feel any discomfort afterwards. I honestly will only exclusively be waxed by her now because I don't think I could trust anyone else to treat me and care for me as well as she did. The bar has been set high because of her. I haven't been waxed since December (feel free to judge) and I have never been smoother. India, thank you for making my first time experience here a good one. I would not recommend this place to anyone with sensitive skin. I just moved to the area and needed a new eyebrow place and saw they had great reviews. The girl who waxed me was very nice but as soon as I got home I realized how bad the burning sensation on my eyebrows was. I tried to ignore it but after looking in the mirror I realized significant portions of my skin had been ripped off. In fact she took off more skin than she did hair. The burning lasted over 5 hours and was extremely painful. I had a huge event the next day and looked completely ridiculous as the pain was so awful I was terrified of applying any sort of makeup or coverup. Its now been a few days and I am still healing and dealing with incredibly uncomfortable skin. I called and spoke to the manager and she apologized and refunded my money, and while she was nice this NEVER should have happened. She also asked me to email her the photos and then did not respond. Bottom line, if you have sensitive skin do NOT come here. I have been getting eyebrow waxes every 2 weeks or so for the past ten years and have NEVER had this happen. It is inexcusable. I also just now noticed several reviews in the "hidden" section mention bad experiences with large sections of skin being lifted. Wish I had seen those before coming here. read more

I have been to this location a handful of times over the last few years. The last couple of times that I've been, I went in for a Brazilian and the cosmetologist left me with EXTREMELY red, PAINFUL burns ALL over my bikini zone The first time it happened was several months ago, I don't remember the name of the cosmo but she said she had only been working there a few months. When I went in yesterday it was another new girl who had only been working there for about 3 months. (Not sure why this company has such problems keeping regular staff?) Regardless of what happened the first time I decided to give them another chance (Although now I wish I had given European Wax Center a shot!) I went in hopeful, at the very least expecting to feel better/cute afterwards, and I ended up paying $80 for a swollen red mess AGAIN. I will never be returning. read more

However, Tabitha not only did a great job with my waxing service, but she was also able to teach me more about my skin and how to treat my concerns! And then I came here and all of the staff is super nice, they make sure you're comfortable, and I'm always happy with the results. I have gotten services from ReAnn, Kelsey, and Aurora. I needed a new waxing place so my sister and I came to Lunchbox to get waxed. We were able to effortlessly book our appointment online with Latoya. We got there and were promptly greeted by the ladies at the front desk. Shortly after I went with Latoya to get waxed and it was literally the best session ever! I have anxiety and a low pain tolerance but thanks to Latoya I had such a wonderful experience! She was super patient with me and very informative. She made sure I knew what she was doing and when she was doing it so I wasn't surprised at all (like I said bad anxiety). I also told her that I wasn't too good about my skincare and I would love any advice she'd be willing to give and she was so sweet and educated me on what I needed to help improve my skin. 10/10 would recommend! Although lunchbox is currently closed due to covid restrictions, I wanted to take the time to leave a long overdue review. Ada is the best and I do not trust anyone else touching my eyebrows. I even have unused waxes from a package at European wax center that I have left there because now that I have met Ada I cannot let anyone else touch my eyebrows. (No one will compare to her!) The salon has always been clean and welcoming. The only thing that I had to get used to is when rescheduling an appointment a text is sent, but I have found that their appointment robot works well and I have had no problem rescheduling. This review is for AURORA. Aurora goes above and beyond your basic wax experience. She is efficient, super detail oriented, and a bit of a perfectionist. I had my brazilian done several times with her and she goes over it to make sure she gets every.single.hair. I appreciate her eye, and she will hunt those ingrowns, and does not stop until she extracts them (and does so without pain I've experienced with most). I'm super pleased and borderline hesitant to tell everyone how awesome she is in fear she will get too busy....but she deserves it. read more

There's a buy one get one free deal so I got my first one and booked a second one free. I had to reschedule the second appointment, so I did so online. *warning, you can't do this*. So I called later on to confirm, however, Ada said that I came in for my scheduled, free appointment, was checked in, and was taken care of. She INSISTED that I had come in, because the computer said so, and that it could not be wrong. I certainly did not come in.
