Terrible service - twice. During my first visit, the technician lifted a 1-inch section of skin off my upper lip. I was in pain for a week. A few months later, I decided to give it another try, but requested a different technician. This time, I ended up with ultra thin eyebrows. It's frustrating because I specifically said told her (before she started) that I was growing in the hair in my arches. I asked her not to touch it, and clean up around it. She didn't listen at all, and now the hair I've been growing (albeit sparse) is gone and I have high arches. This is my first negative Yelp review ever. read more

This place to go for your first time getting a Brazilian Wax. It was a random thing I do after debating if I should get it done are not because of somethings I heard about getting a Brazilian Wax done. But, I decide to get and done and everybody was booked so when I called LunchBox She said If I get there by 2 PM she can squeeze me in It was 137 PM. I said that would work being I was down the street. When I walk in the place it was real relaxing then when it was time to get the wax I was so nervous, and scared but jessica made calm me down and talk to me the whole time and that relaxed me a lot. I've been to Lunchbox before and had all great experiences, but Ada by far did the best job when i went in for a brazilian! She was super laid back and made conversation, which always makes the experience a lot more comfortable. Her technique made it as painless as possible, and she seemed to finish pretty quickly which is always a plus. I loved how meticulous she was; every time I've gotten a brazilian wax, no matter how experienced the waxer, I've always gone home and had to tweeze leftover hairs in hidden areas. Ada got every single one, and even got rid of some ingrowns and used the high frequency machine to help prevent future ingrown hairs. I was always taking the chance of getting my eyebrows done at random nail salons. Never really knowing how my eyebrows were going to end up. I walked into this place by chance (nail salon I stopped in was too busy), I was greeting instantly, taken back, and eyebrows were done great. I wish I can remember my girls name. But now, going on a 4 week schedule and eyebrows are looking good. It's a little bit more than going somewhere else. I walked in and was immediately greeted by friendly faces and an amazing smell, which apparently took the owner a while to find the right scent to convey what a great experience you are about to have. It's absolutely gorgeous inside and has a relaxing atmosphere. Jessica was my waxologist and is amazing. I quickly realized that the last waxer I had at another establishment wasn't as good as I thought she was - I would leave with an undercarriage that felt irritated for about two days. Today was my first time trying Lunchbox and I will admit I was very nervous considering the relationship I have with my eyebrows. It's taken me years to grow them out and also find the right person to wax them consistently. Gone are the days of going to the local nail shop and having anyone touch my brows. In any case, my current wax girl was booked and I was in desperate need of a clean up! I decided to give this place a shot. I checked out the Yelp reviews and made an appointment online with Ashton. I saw her picture, her eyebrows and her tattoo and thought "this is the one". Low and behold the girl took great care of me and my eyebrows! She really took her time and actually helped me come to terms with the fact that one area was just not growing back in properly and we both decided to clean up the area. I really liked that she took the time to actually ask me questions as to what were my goals and which eyebrow was my favorite. Based on that we agreed to cleaning up the other one so that I wouldn't have to fill them in all the time. I ended up with exactly what I wanted, a beautiful high arch. I really felt like I was in good hands and I wasn't just another client unlike other higher end wax places. I am definitely coming back and will be booking my appointments with Ashton.
