At almost 40 years old, I FINALLY decided to get my eyebrows waxed. 25 years of over-plucking and even shaving my eyebrows off at one point in time - I have struggled with drawing them on everyday and attempting to make them look as natural as possible. The consultation with Karina was thorough, she took me through each step of the process and made me feel beyond comfortable. Just had my first visit at Radiant. I scheduled with Grassy for my brows. I am very picky with who does my brows as I've heard so many horror stories. Grassy did ahmazing. She was thorough and got my brows looking fierce. I already have my next appt scheduled with her in September One thing I was confused about tho, is I previously had scheduled an appt for a training date. It needed to be rescheduled but the lady contacting me gave all the wrong info which made it confusing to figure out what was going on. Also since a waxer called in sick today, someone reached out and wanted to move my appointment to another waxer and even another center. I booked specifically with grassy weeks ago. My appt was almost moved to another waxer without telling me. It seemed like I could be accommodated with my same waxer but I had to ask. Lil weird why I was being asked to move my appt to accommodate other guests when my appt was specific and booked way in advance. That's the only issue I had. Otherwise great clean space and Grassy just did amazing :) can't wait to come back!! read more

I came here yesterday afternoon to get a brazilian and supposed to be eyebrow wax. I had Taje and she is the best! I'm grateful for her asking me if I used retinol, if so she wasn't able to do the eyebrow waxing as the consequences included some skin being tore off. No other place has asked me that. So the next visit she recommended that I don't use it a week before getting my brows waxed. As for the brazilian, she was quick, and it was a much much much better expierence compared to the place I went to before where it hurt so much, and the lady was careless and just wanted to get the job done, and left wax residue on me. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend! This was my first time getting a Brazilian and I'm so glad I chose to go to Radiant Waxing (formerly LunchBox). A friend of mine shared that they were looking for wax models for training purposes, so I figured why not! I'm going on vacation anyway. My service was done by Alisa (ah-Leesa), who was in training, but honestly she did SO well. You wouldn't have known she was in training. To me, that says a lot to me about the company. I felt comfortable right away, and with her technique I felt minimal to no pain. (Mind you, this was my first time with Brazilian wax.) They have multiple private rooms with comfortable and clean beds. The entire space is calm and clean. I surprisingly felt very comfortable even it being my first time. It didn't feel invasive even though the procedure can totally seem that way. Make sure you read their FAQ page because I felt more than prepared for my appointment. Mother Nature paid me a visit the day before, but they provide fresh tampons and tidy wipes in their bathroom so you can be sure to clean up before your appointment. I also took an ibuprofen 30 min before to minimize my sensitivity from being on my period! Stop shaving and start glowing, y'all. Book your appointment with Alisa ASAP!! read more

Love love this place for my lady parts!!! Waxing is already a daunting and very personal maintenance but LunchboxWax makes it comfortable, fast, and possibly as pleasant as it can be. I've been to so many other places and the aestheticians that take care of me are rushed, fault me for hair they can't get or are just careless. However every single time I've come to LunchboxWax at the Dublin location, they always are extremely friendly from greeting to pay out. For my wax, there are no random strays, there are no random wax bits leftover, and I feel fresh right after. The appointment set up for the follow up is easy and they don't pressure you to buy packages or add on which I usually dread at other salons. I tried the lunchbox wax in Alameda a few years ago and liked it but it was too far from where I live. I decided to walk in on a Saturday morning and luckily there was an open slot. I usually go to a place that uses hard wax so I was suprised by how painless the wax strips were. When I left I realized that I had several small hairs that weren't removed so my hair grew back faster than my usual space. I'd still love to go again since the pain was really minimal. read more

I've been going to Radiant in Dublin for sometime now (used to even go before when they were LunchBox with Belle), and after she left, I've had several different wax specialists over the course of time. Every appointment I've had in the last year was with a different specialist until I met India. I started seeing India regularly every month since March 2023 and she always has me feeling smooth and happy after every visit. Great system for text/phone appointment reminders, lovely service, and great experiences! I'd gotten my first Brazilian here, which was one of the best decisions I could've made. Danielle is super friendly and professional, and made the entire experience very comfortable. She asked if I had allergies, made sure the wax would be okay for me beforehand, and kept the whole process super quick and smooth. It was mostly painless, to my shock, and she did a great job with cleanup as well. Though I have fairly sensitive skin (and am prone to eczema & allergic reactions), I've had absolutely no issues here. There's a BOGO offer for first-timers at LunchboxWax, which is really nice. I was nervous about getting a Brazilian because of what I've heard about pain but decided to go for it. I went in for my appointment and saw VANESSA F. Not only is she sweet and polite but VERY gentle. She moved quickly and definitely knew what she is doing. I did not feel uncomfortable at any point and will be going back. She waxed my eyebrows and underarms as well and I am amazed at how much my underarms lightened after waxing.
