So I've tried to reach out and contact the manager/staff, and I'm not sure if the error is on the part of yelp or what. I travel a lot for work and am back in town and would like to get waxed, and I was willing to give this another go, but it's just so difficult to track down who to talk to and what to explain. Again, I'm not sure how much this has to do with yelp, but LunchboxWax doesn't have a readily available email that I can see. Let me clear a few things up. I was a professional ballerina since I was 8 in NYC, so I've been getting waxed for a WHILE. When I speak about a "loofah" I'm not talking about the drugstore things that look like soggy socks. I have scrubs, rubs, salt-beachy-eco-friendly-who-flippin-knows gloves and "bikini zone" and all its ilk. I get the post-care cuz it was a way of life. I was reticent to give a bad review, as can be seen. However, the results caused more problems than they fixed. I just want a decent wax, and really, after all these years, I know it's not that difficult. Ughhhh....! I'm really conflicted about this place. I went to get a full Brazilian which is what I've been doing since I was 19, and my aesthetician was incredibly nice and personable. She made the experience painless and as enjoyable as a wax can be. The problem is that within a few days I saw what seemed like razor burn although I have never shaved "down there" and little hairs were emerging that were clearly broken and not removed from the root. Over time things just kept getting worse. I can't even begin to count the number of ingrown hairs I have even though I use a sea salt scrub as well as a loofah. It's been actively pretty painful and annoying for a couple weeks. Additionally, there are just patches of hair totally growing in because they were just broken to begin with. I don't even know what to do with the situation at this point, so I'm avoiding it. But, you know, everything else is great about this place which is why I was so conflicted. But I guess that if the actual service itself and the results are so shoddy nothing else really makes up for it. Boo. I really wanted to love this read more

OMG!!!! BEST WAXING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Riley was unreal!!!! I have lots of friends that wax and are licensed professionals and I have never had an experience like that!!! Waxing your vagina is never fun and never feels good but I was blown away at the difference!! There is not a surprise that Riley manages the place because she was amazing! She is so talented at what she does. She is so fast and distracts you while she is doing it so you don't even have time to think about what is happening! I've been to franchise waxing places before, and was especially wary about trying this place out. I absolutely don't regret taking this risk one bit! Jessica was wonderful, we had a great conversation (I mean.. you might as well during this potentially awkward situation), the wax smelled nice, and it might have been the least painful wax I've ever experienced. The wax is infused with a pine scent, which was extremely refreshing. My brows turned out fantastic, and the ingrown hairs in my lady parts were attended to without question. Best waxing place I've EVER been to. The girls here are really good at what they do, everyone is a perfectionist which is awesome when it comes to getting a good wax. Kirby is KILLER; it feels like your good friend is giving you your wax! After going there a few times I got Kirby as a waxologist, she recommended the lunchbox kit. I hate going to a place and having product thrown at you, but Kirby was very sweet about it and it didn't feel pushy. The products they sell in their kit are a really good deal and have all natural ingredients which I appreciate. For $28 my skin really improved! It's helped soften and tame ingrown hairs. There was one day I went to another salon in Park City (it was a Sunday and they were open later than Lunchbox) and learned the hard way that it's worth it to wait for a good thing! The wax was terrible and took nearly an hour and a half for underarm/bikini. At lunchbox, it's painless, in and out service and feels very clean. read more

I have been a client here for 3+ years. Today I booked and paid for a 30 minute appointment and arrived 10 minutes late (for a service that has only ever taken 10 minutes in the 3+ years I've been coming. I am told I can't be seen and that even though I booked and paid for a 30 minute slot, they only actually allow 15 minutes and so my 10 minute service can't be completed in the remain 20 minutes of my time slot. So much for clear customer service and appreciation for long term clients. I won't be going back!! read more
